He recommended a follow up visit to see if my gum recession gets worse which I scheduled. I asked him for a quote for the surgery incase its needed so I can budget and save. Gum surgery could cost anywhere between 1k-5k. Dr.Newbold approved getting me a quote at the front desk. I was in a hurry so I told the front desk I'll email them the surgery quotes and in person they approved sending me the quote for the surgery. I emailed them multiple times afterwards and they refused to send me the quote the doctor approved. They kept telling me to call them but even in one instance when I called they refused to give me the quote over the phone. I emailed them to cancel my follow up visit. After I cancelled they suddenly billed me $130 dollars. When I called them before hand and saw them in person they also told me insurance covered my visit. Their team did not actually check if my visit was covered the two times I asked. Dr. Newbold himself is fine to see as a dentist, but the people working the front desk are abysmal and deceitful. Doesn't really make sense for me to pay $130 after they refused to give me quotes for the surgery, which is why I made the appointment in the first place.

Each of these reviews warned me of the shady business practices of this dental office. Complaints of high pressure tactics, unnecessary treatments and unauthorized charges should have been red flags for me. Please read on and don't make the same mistake that several of us have made. I met with Dr. Mardirossian, and he seemed professional. However, when I was instructed to meet with his office manager, Monique it literally felt like I was dealing with a used car salesperson. A previous reviewer mentioned the infamous negotiation room. The tactics she used were shady at best. She first tried to sell me on their "savings plan", which costs $780 for the year and it clearly designed to improve their profits at the detriment of the patient. I didn't trust her at all, and therefore I asked her to send a written proposal for the work to be completed. She did email me a written complete proposal for a total cost of $6348.20. Although this price was high, I agreed to have them do the work. At this point we had a legally binding contract. We had a firm offer in writing to do the work, we had my acceptance and we had mutual consideration. I work for a law firm and this was definitely a binding contract between Dr. Mardirossian and myself. Then half way through the treatment plan, the Dr. told me the next step was a CT Scan so they could create a guide for him to do the dental implants. I told him that as long as the guide was part of the contract, we can proceed. He told me to check with Monique who was not available. Monique called me a few days later to charge me $795 more for this guide!! What happened to our contract? Why are they breaching our written cost agreement and contract, by trying to extort more money from me? I complained to her and Dr. Mardirossian and they refused to honor our contract. Then, Monique calls me to ask for permission to charge my credit card $1266! She explained that she made a mistake and forgot to charge me as the previous work was done. I denied her permission to charge my card until we resolved this dispute. Later that same day, they ignored my refusal for the charge to be made to my credit card and charged the entire amount! One last thing, Monique and Mardirossian pressured me to agree to a controversial procedure called L-PRF = $1,714. I didn't want this optional procedure, wherein he used my own blood to supposedly speed up the healing process. However, I succumb to their pressure tactics and agreed. The day of the extractions, and L-PRF procedure Mardirossian struggled to even withdraw blood from my arm and the whole process was a joke. Four months later and the area was still not fully healed. What a rip-off! Please consider this review and others just like it, and think about whether you can trust this dental office and their shady business tactics.

He got numerous X-rays and MRIs. He even had fusion surgery done on his neck because we thought the cause was due to a budging disc - that didn't do anything. We were also patients of Blue House at the time. Due to a change of insurance, we switched to Renov Dental Group. On the very first visit, Dr. Yi pointed out something unusual on the Xray. She referred my husband to Dr. Gray who further identified issues with my husband's narrow airway (result of lower jaw surgery in his earlier years). My husband ended up having jaw surgery again. It's been 6 weeks and a lot of the symptoms he suffered in the last 10 years appear to have subside. Out of all the specialists we saw, Dr. Yi was the one who identified the root that no one else was able to. We are so thankful and grateful to her. She is truly talented in her craft, diligent, and has genuine compassion.
