Had my first appointment with Dr. Cohrs today. What a truly relaxing office and such friendly staff. There was no wait; no crowded waiting room. The dental chair was comfortable and you get your xrays done on the chair. It was a comfy room temperature; not icy cold like most dental offices. With each picture taken, you see your X-ray in front of you on the monitor. I think this is very comforting and it becomes so much easier to ask questions and also for Dr. Cohrs to assess and explain treatment needed. Dr. Cohrs has a great sense of humor and is very patient. He takes the time to listen to you, to answer your questions, and is just all around personable. Prior to my teeth cleaning, he explained each step, and showed me as he did them with the mirror. He makes you feel like you're a person, not just a patient or subject. His staff are all very friendly and competent. I was so pleased that they have a no-nonsense philosophy about dental care. They don't try to sell you all this extra treatment. This is what real, honest dentistry is all about. If all dentists and clinics were like Dr. Cohrs' model, America would all have healthy, pearly white teeth! read more

This review is for Dr. Gudino. Always a pleasure coming in to my dental office. Dr. Gudino is amazing! He is patient and listens to your concerns and fear of dental procedures. For many years I could not afford braces and now I am so happy to be getting invisalign braces under his care. I can't say enough about the office staff both front and back. They are so friendly and you feel right at home. read more

This review is for Dr. Aaron Gudino. I saw him this afternoon for a filling. I'm always apprehensive when it comes to dentists. He was very patient with me and explained everything he was going to do. He made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. From beginning to end, he was very professional. I recommend him without any reservations. read more

I have been going to Dr. Cohrs for ages. I actually met him at my orthodontist office about 10yrs ago (maybe?) and he was just a cool person that I figured I'd give him a shot. I've been seeing him ever since. His office is cute and small but his service is ginormous! The staff know all their patients by name and are genuinely friendly. There has been the occasional time when I forgot to schedule my routine visit, but that's never a problem. Scheduling appointments is a breeze and Barbara, even after long absences, knows who I am even when I only identify myself with my first name! How cool is that, they really do know who you are, really how many business know you or know you by first name only?? All the hygienist I've had are great and gently. My most recent hygienist (can't remember her name) has been the best thus far. I have a super sensitive mouth (though my husband would argue otherwise) and she did not hurt me one bit. Dr. Cohrs now has digital x-rays and there is no need to wait for the film to be developed. He has the latest in technology and they are more than happy to give you and a live view of your teeth. I do suggest you brush for the front seat viewing. I've never had any issues with his prices, he has always been very reasonable and it helps that I have decent insurance, which covers most of my work. But really what is most striking, as I mention is there exceptional service and welcoming attitudes. They really do make you feel at home and get to know you on a personal level. In fact I think they know me a little to well sometimes. Side note, I don't know if he works on children. I've never seen any when I've been there (thank goodness!! sorry parents if you get insulted well that's on you, I don't like being around kids and look for business that cater to adults only) so I would assume they cater to an adult clientele, but I can't say that with 100% certainty. I recommend Dr. Cohrs to everyone! But for those who are afraid of the dentist I think he would be a great option given their kindness and gentle natures. read more

How many of you like going to the dentist? I know it's not in my list of the top 42,364 things to do before I die! But Dr. Cohrs knows how to make a visit to the dentist enjoyable. The office staff are always pleasant and there's always a lighthearted air about the place, as opposed to many dental offices where the mood can be dour, stressful, and indifferent, contributing mightily to patient anxiety. You can tell that Dr. Cohrs takes great pride in his work, enjoys what he does, and perhaps most importantly, makes the patient feel uncommonly at ease. The office is strictly PPO and fee-for-service. A periodontist comes in regularly as well. Now, if I didn't quite convince you, here's another bit of information: I'm a dentist too. And no, I don't work here. Now, who better to recommend a dentist than a dentist who has his teeth worked on by said dentist? read more

Yay, I'm so happy!! I finally found a dentist that I like!! Not only is he a great dentist but his staff is so sweet. The hygienist was very cool and the receptionist was really nice. It didn't take me weeks to get an appointment which I can appreciate and the wait time there during my appointment was in n out. read more

Who likes to go to the dentist? Im pretty sure nobody does. I put it off for years and was so scared to go in, but Dr. Cohrs was SO nice! Definitely would recommend this office to EVERYONE! read more

I can say with 100% certainty that I've never liked a dentist before I came to this office. My teeth look so sparkly and shiny. Yes, dental work sucks but the whole ambiance of the office and the demeanor and tone of the staff helps make it more palatable. I am going to make it a point to come regularly now. read more

I was recommended to Dr Cohrs dental office. This is my second visit and the staff is great.

Worst costumer service, they go back on their word. Originally made an appointment to be seen by Dr. Richard Cohrs, whom my insurance had listed as an in network provider, was never told that he had retired and that the dentist I would be seeing (who was not listed by my insurance as an in network provider) would by Dr. Aaron Gudino, and my insurance didn't cover the visit. When I brought it to their attention, i was told not to worry about that bill. Came in for a follow up appointment, paid my "supposed" copay up front, supposed because the claim hadn't even been submitted as of yet and they over charged me for my copay. Got a past due bill, when I had never gotten the "original" bill. Fought with them about how I shouldn't have been charged for that fist visit because it was their fault. Now they sent my account to collections, when they are the crooks that owe ME money. And to top it all off, the work that they did a shitty job at had to be re-done read more

Dr. Cohrs really is a fantastic dentist. It had been a long time since I last went to the dentist. It's not something I looked forward to. I, like most people, hate the very idea of the dentists! After having Ludwig's Angina (a freak infection in my neck related to a tooth), I was in the hospital for a week last year for neck surgery followed by a root canal. I moved to CA shortly afterward and was referred by a friend to Dr. Cohrs. He was incredibly patient and compassionate because it turned out that I was pretty traumatized by what had happened before I moved here. He is witty and kind, and his staff is friendly and personable. I am SO glad I chose him as my dentist. You should, too! read more

I heard about Dr. Cohrs through my wife because she is very picky on who she chooses for her dentistry needs. Nevertheless she recommended me to go pay him a visit due to his professionalism. When I arrived for my first appointment his staff treated me like I've been a patient for many years. I was impressed by the outstanding service they provide. After going to Dr. Cohrs, I recommend that my three children visit him because of the staff and awesome service. My kids ages are 12,10, and 3. My three year old was scared of the dentist and when he went into Dr. Cohrs's office he was nervous at first but his staff went above and beyond to make him comfortable, and my son gained their trust and the trust of Dr. Cohrs. Dr. Cohrs was patient and provided an excellent service for a toddler. I would not want my family to go anywhere else. Thank you to the staff and to Dr. Cohrs for their continued consummate professionalism. read more

After many years (all my adult life) in search of a good dentist, I found Dr. Cohrs. I've gone to so many dentists who performed sub-standard work. I can't begin to say how many times I've been ripped off by overcharges until I finally began to check the actual costs I was responsible for from the insurance company and the cost I was actually being charged for and paying by other dentists. I never knew such great dentists existed until I went to Dr. Cohrs. I recently had a tooth crack and Dr. Cohrs saved my tooth. I've always been scared to have any work done that required shots because it was always very painful for me. When Dr. Cohrs worked on my tooth and gave me the shot, I did not feel a thing. I had to even ask him if he was done!! At other dentists, my whole face would be fat and numb for hours, with Dr. Cohrs there is very minimal numbness that you can't even tell your numb! Pain free is a big deal to me and Dr. Cohrs is the pain free king!! Dr. Cohrs and his staff are friendly and caring. Everything is state of the art in his office. I can't say enough about Dr. Cohrs and his quality of care. If you're looking for a pain free quality dentist who won't rip you off, you won't be disappointed with Dr. Cohrs!!! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Cohrs since January 2014. He is an excellent dentist. I don't like to go to the dentist and he and his staff are so friendly and informative. I never wait, if I have an appointment. Dr. Cohn's uses top technology. I had a failed crown (from my former dentist) and Dr. Cohr's got me in to see him asap and he makes the crown himself and I can go back within a day or two to get the permanent crown. I have never had such prompt service with my prior dentist. Also, Dr. Cohr's used a new Novocaine technique. He only numbed the area right by my tooth that needed a new crown. I didn't leave there with my whole half of my face numb. I had a bad experience with the a previous dentist who hit a nerve while numbing my lower jaw area causing problems with my face muscles that lasted 3 weeks. This experience has scared me and made me very afraid of dentist procedures. I explained this to Dr. Cohr's and that's when he used this new numbing technique on me which really put me to easy. Another example is that I had a hole in a different crown (one that a former dentist put in) and instead of replacing the crown he repaired it. He said it won't last forever but it would do the trick and save me money and time for now. He is practical and cares about saving his customers money and their original teeth. Lastly, while I was talking to Dr. Cohr's today during my replacement crown visit, he explained he uses new technology to save teeth and crown them instead of the typical root canal. Go check him out. You wouldn't regret your decision to switch dentist. read more
