Please be careful if you have Medi-Cal. I had insurance through my dad's work, but now i currently I have Medi-Cal now and I had to find an office that accepts itand I've been having wisdom teeth pain & i am a dental assistant and i work for a doctor who i do get my check ups with and i had an exam done last month n i had no cavities and i came here for my wisdom teeth thinking they had an oral surgeon to take them out but anyways. She started to diagnose all these fillings and that one of my crowns are leaking, which is odd because I just got it almost 4 years ago. And apparently I need all these cavities done and to replace my old filling and my crown is leaking and also that I need a deep cleaning which I know is false because I do not have buildup that's been sitting for months that does not happen in less than a month of getting your last dental cleaning . which I already had an exam check up & prophy so I don't get how I need these procedures less than a month of having a dental exam and she didn't even say anything about my main concern, which was my wisdom teeth. So please be careful because I know there are some places that diagnose all these unnecessary treatments, especially with Medi-Cal. read more

I've been going to Dr. Bebing for years since she was located in Melrose -- happy to see her closer to home in West Covina now (with more parking!). Dr. Bebing has always been meticulous in her work. She and her son do a great job in explaining the procedures and answering any Qs. So if you're worried, don't be afraid to voice concerns. Her staff also takes the time to explain the breakdown of costs and your insurance coverage, and can work with you re: a payment plan. I've seen them do it with younger patients as well (e.g. highschool and college students), who may not know the plan they are on. Great job on transparency! For those concerned going into a dentist during COVID-19, all staff and patients are required to wear masks and they do a temperature scan on you before you enter the main working space. The spaces are clean and sanitized, and there are hand sanitizers available for use as well. Overall, I've always had a great visit here whether for cleaning or for a dreaded root canal. I recently starting taking my Special Needs son to Dynamic Dental. Dr. Geomel is so patient and understanding. He was able to get my son through 4 fillings fairly quickly. He explained what he was doing and would stop and let my son take a breath if began to be to overwhelming. The entire staff was very nice and welcoming. We came here because my wife had a cavity and after xrays the Doctor said she would need to remove the tooth that was causing pain and install a post and then a crown, we trusted her and paid for the treatment. She gave my wife a piece of metal as a provisional tooth which hurt her gums. We came back to get the crown put in and that's when the nightmare started. My wife didn't chew for a week on the side she got the new crown but after a week she had vegan patties for dinner and it immediately caused her discomfort which turned into pain after a few hours, we went back the next day and the doctor said that my wife should wait 2 weeks and she should be fine. We waited a couple days and the pain got worse we went back again and the doctor had my wife chew a piece of paper for 30 minutes, and the doctor was acting like she didn't understand what was happening as if my wife was making up the pain, one of the receptionists which seemed to have some dental knowledge overheard what was happening and walked in and listened to my wife and actually made us feel like this could have a happy ending. She almost forced the doctor to remove the obviously horrible crown and make a new one and instructed her to give my wife a silicon type of provisional instead of the metal one they gave us the first time and the receptionist calmed us telling my wife that the new crown would be better and that before putting the permanent cement she would wear the actual crown for two weeks to make sure it felt right and honestly she is the only one good thing about this place. A week later we go back and the doctor begins to install the new crown but my wife says it hurts from the start so the doctor begins to work on the crown with a small drill then takes it to another room several times and says that she is not going to wait two weeks and that she is going to put the permanent cement. We obviously said no because the receptionist said that they would not make it permanent until we were sure the crown was the right size etc,. and the doctor had agreed to that and NOW she wanted to change things. So she had no option but to keep her word and just let my wife use the actual crown with some temporary glue. We left and after two hours my wife is again experiencing discomfort, we bought a camera to have a look at what the doctor was doing and she chipped off a piece of the crown, the crown is too short on one side and you can se the metal exposed *pic1*(no wonder she wanted to just cover it all up with cement) we went back talked to the receptionist and she said that we should wait another week see if the pain decreased and that if needed they would make yet another crown (that would be a 3rd). Today my wife has a lot of pain, the crown fell off just a couple minutes ago and we checked with the camera and it looks terrible. This place has caused us so much suffering and pain that I hope this review saves others from going through the hell we are going through. read more

Update: Not only did they do bad work on my mouth but recently I found out they also did bad work on my younger brother's. I thought he would be ok since different doctors worked on us. Apparently not. Crappy fillings done on him that another dentist commented on and one of his fillings FELL OUT TOO. Not only do they do poor quality work but the Dr. has taken it upon himself to message me on my personal phone about my previous review. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I DO NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO CONTACT ME. Like I stated, I knew I was in bad shape. That does negate the fact that I have to get ALL of the work redone and multiple dentists have commented on poor/rough fillings. Sure go here. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The dentists are very gentle, friendly, caring and understanding of my situation. The facility is clean. The assistants are clean, as well. They don't play "ghetto" music like other facilities do. I've been to other dental offices that lacked professionalism and dignity in their profession, which I am strongly against. Best dental experience ever. The girl in the front I think her name was Monique she was so welcoming and makes you feel like she's known you forever. The girl Amy (I think) she took my X-rays and polished my teeth and she was so sweet and gentle. I saw Dr. Brian and he was nice and very informative. Both Bebing's, mom and son, have great handy work. Been worked on by Dr. Fermina before and had the STEADIEST hand. Didn't ever feel much with deep cleaning. Never had a lidocaine injection ever until this month and her son, Dr. Brian Bebing, had the smoothest touch, definitely mirrors his mom's touch. Minimal pain with injection. Swift work, fillings were quickly done. Dr. Brian explains ALL assessments and procedures and in terms I could understand. Constantly reaffirmed if I'm in pain at all so he can make adjustments. Worst dentist ever ! For starters one of the dentist who were Asian male who worked on my teeth breath stunk like really bad and he messed up on my teeth twice ! Each time my filling came out anytime I tried to floss to where I would have to go back because of the sensitivity my tooth was exposed due to the enamel being missing and the filling falling out . THEN they put YELLOW filling paste on top of two bottom teeth on each side even after I told them I plan on bleaching my teeth that yellow stuff you guys are putting on my teeth is not able to bleach it will stay permanently that color on top of my teeth not even being yellow they still chose that color to put on my teeth ... which tells me ALOT about them . The older Mexican lady whos in the first desk is aggravating and really careless she comes off as sweet but she dosent care about patients she dosent listen and she incorrectly puts in information . She and another dentist marked that two teeth in the back were worked on and I told them no this is why I'm coming in today I remember what me and another dentist talked about she argued me down until the dentist check and confirmed that I was right and those teeth had not been worked on ! On top of that she plays a lot of games she had me drive a hour to get my teeth work on just to tell me when I got there and sat down in the chair that my dental coverage wasn't going through when I NEVER had issues ever with any of my coverage when she could've said that over the phone if it was true . Just for a couple weeks later for it to magically work ? When I hadn't called or changed anything on my dental plan that I have under my dad ..... then the fillings they worked on ! I still have sensitivity ! They just wasted my time ! And I finally decide enough is enough! Dr. Fermina is the best at what she does. There are only a handful of dentists who can accurately pinpoint any dental problems, and she is one of them. I've had a recurring toothache that bugged me for weeks. My previous dentist made me go back three times stating that it only needs 'cleaning'. I feel like I was getting ripped off because my previous dentist won't provide the care that I needed. Through a friend's referral, I visited Dynamic Dental. Dr Fermina's initial diagnosis included a root canal procedure that would actually cure my toothache. After the operation, I felt like a massive splinter finally got off my jaw.
