My experience with DaBella, the appointment started out just fine. The sales person was on time and we let him know that we appreciated that. And before the sales person started the measurements to get our estimation (for siding), I was very upfront and said we will not be making a decision today that they were just the first of several quotes I wanted to obtain so we could make an educated decision on whom to use. Then he went into a long spill about why we should use him in this company, which I found very boring and tedious, I was thinking just get to the quote man! Has he went on to tell us that he was a professional sales person, going on and on about himself again you're burning time, my time! and then after all that here comes the quote and without going into any details, I'll just give you the numbers first quote $22,000. We said no way then he supposedly called his Superior, which I really doubt he was talking to anybody on the phone to be honest with you, second quote $17,000, again we pushed back, here comes the second call to his supposedly Superior and then a third quote of $11,000. At this point we're over two hours into our meeting. It's getting late. Then here comes the pressure sales point. The $11,000 quote was for overstock material and that might not last so you better buy now. This comes after I told him for the third time we will not be making the decision today. This is so unprofessional when you tell the sales person that you will not make a decision, but they keep trying to press the point to get you to commit. On top of that you look at the price difference started out at $22,000 hoping they can stick it to you for that amount when they realize they can't. They start dwelling it down until they get to a point where they think they'll hook you into it. I consider that very deceptive and deceiving I will not do any business with a company that uses those tactics, that's why I'm writing this review please be aware and do not fall for there deceitful tactics! read more

We have been getting roof quotes and this company sales came on site and quoted me 50k for a 17k roof job. Then proceeded to tell me about discounts we qualify for that got it down to 34k. After quoting me a rediculous number tried to sell me things my roof doesn't need. I have had 3 appraisal and these clowns are the only ones trying to rip off all my plywood(which isn't needed) and sell me up on spendi.g more than I need to. Then they called 3 times and wanted to waste another of my days to have a "senior" tech come out and see if he can save us money. In the car sales buisness this is called a turn and its usually to get an aggressive sales person I front of the customer to "handle" them and make a sale. Debella-so we are happy with the majority of the installation. What went wrong was the salesman provided pertinent information on an iPad with about 50 pages of terms. Some very important information was there but not reviewed because of the length of the document. Be aware that they will take all lights, installed doorbells, electrical outlets off to install and will not put them back up and your hardware will probably disappear so be ready to replace all those items. The salesman was nice enough to come back and install our retro doorbell since we did not have the tools or knowledge of the proper way to install on cement plank. read more

I finally had to raise my voice and tell him he needed to remove himself from my property. Why does it have to get to this point? Not only do I live in a community where it clearly states "No Solicitation," but I also have to shout at someone just to get them to stop and leave? After an Angi's List inquiry about siding replacement, I was contacted by the Rochester MN office of DaBella. I ended our interaction a few days later. The sales pressure is enormous and they are not always accurate about the reason for a call or visit. For example, one person wanted to "drop off" loan papers, but it turned out the true purpose was to press me to sign on the spot. I had already told DaBella that I would sign nothing until I'd had a chance to talk with a loan officer at our bank. They call and/or visit every day until they get you on the hook. I found I had to be blunt to the point of slightly rude to get them to hear me. I definitely do not recommend DaBella for anyone who has trouble with asserting yourself. read more

I have experienced poor communications, long delays in project completion, and issues with subcontractor quality of work that is already supposedly done. Also, they lost parts to my outdoor lights that are needed to reconnect them, and the parts are not something you can get without buying all new lights. The quality of the work, where it was actually completed was not horrible, but the unfinished portions are exposing my home to potential damage. I understand that shipping delays can happen, and that weather can play a part in this being the case; however, not keeping a client in the loop for what is happening is not a good buisness practice. To top it off they stated that their crew would come through to do a magnetic sweep to pick up metalic debris, and they did not. They hire people to go door-to-door, basically harassing people at home. One red-headed young man was drinking something and threw a bottle down, shattering the glass. It gave my neighbor a flat tire, and of course was super dangerous for dogs and wildlife. I would never, ever, ever hire this joke of a company. I had a DaBella rep show up at my house offering estimates on new windows. Although he was nice, he pressured me into setting up an appointment with someone who would "run the numbers" for me. After reading online reviews, I decided to cancel the appointment. Since then, the company has called twice a day every day. I have blocked two of their numbers but they continue to call. Every. Day. Dan and another women showed up at our home on time as our appointment were scheduled. I chatted a few moments with them and let Dan look at my gutters, while I took the lady inside to take measurements of our bath tub for possibly a walk in shower replacement. This took them about 10 minutes to complete. Afterwards we all sat down so I could hear what options, products, and colors were available for a walk-in shower. After their presentation, Dan kept pressuring me to lock in the sale. The woman with him listened to my concerns, understood my point of view, and showed empathy regarding my current financial situation. I told Dan that I do not make any big financial decisions without my husband. Each time I said no, Dan would call his team to see what other 'deal' on pricing they could offer me. I told him 4+ times no. The women he was with sat there in almost disbelief. Halfway through the conversation I remembered that my husband has a buddy in the roofing business who can get us gutters at a wholesale price. When I told Dan this and that I possibly would only be interested in only a walk in shower, he passively aggressively told the person on the phone in disgust that I have a person for gutters, but she(meaning me) didnt mention this until halfway through our presentation. My appointment was at 3pm. Dan and the other lady left my house at 5:30pm. The presentation did not show any before and after photos, they had small samples of the shower walls (mostly to present the color) no pricing listed for additional add ons (such as a bench in the shower or grab bar) Two of those hours were like arguing with a toddler repeatedly telling Dan specifically, no. The only difference between him and a toddler is I couldn't put him in time out. I did ask them to leave, but then had to ask again because I wanted to finish a project outside before it got dark. read more

Up sold their so called high end over priced siding material to my 80+ yr mom. Never talked about any other options for siding. Their crew came did the work removed her security lights removed​ the cable boxes mounted to the original siding and electrical outlet covers. (Lost those). They did not reinstall what they took off telling they are not electricians. But yet they could remove it. Ya right. Left a mess of cable and boxes lying on the ground and exposed outlets with no covers now covered in snow. A company that does not respect potential customers, it offers a free estimate as a pretense to get into your home and spend hours there in an attempt to finalize a contract during the initial meeting; regardless of the customer's thoughts or feelings. I had another engagement scheduled to take place after the estimate. Unfortunately the salesperson did not care and continued to push various selling points. I insisted that I had to go. The salesperson instisted on returning the same evening (after my other appointment) even though I expressed that it would be late and I was already tired and simply did not feel comfortable; but I relented. Later that evening after (2) more hours of listening to similar verbiage advocating why DaBella was better than other companies etc., I figured the price was comparable to other companies, and I was just exhausted. I was told I had three days to decide not to go with the contract if I had a change of heart. And (that) is what this company is lacking. Later I did further research and what I saw on Reddit (alone) concerning other peoples experience with DaBella, was enough to remind that, that Hell is a condition of life. Wish I could give a zero star but honestly, these guys help me out quite a bit. They use high pressure sales tactics and give out some of the most outrageous prices for roofs. It's very easy for me to come in behind them and close a sale. They quoted a customer of mine over 30 grand for an 8 square walkable garage roof that shouldn't have been more than 5 grand. Thanks to Dabella not only did I close the roof but the siding on the whole house as well. These people are scammers and degenerates giving good salesmen a bad name. We had our original roof (29 yrs old) replaced and installed by DeBella. DaBella helped us find a roof package we could afford on a fixed income. The quality of the materials used was wonderful. They also did structural improvements to the roof that were unknown at the time the original roof was installed. It looks beautiful and certainly adds value to our home. The company kept in touch with us throughout the process and the crew was respectful and even mindful of our dog dealing with all the activity. I was looking to fix a broken window and repair the mechanism on 2 other double hung windows. I was very clear on the phone what I needed. The poor sales guy showed up and had tp inform me that they don't do glass, and that the parts needed for repair were no longer made. All of our windows are wood, and he told us they only sell vinyl. I appreciated his honesty, and felt bad he had been sent out to us for no reason. However, since his visit, I have received a minimum of 4 calls a day from their call center. Telling them that we hired another window company, that I'm not interested, and to take me off their call list have not been successful. Dabella came by and quoted me for a new roof. When they finally got around to starting the project they got up on the roof, starting removing shingles, realized it was a bigger job than they had quoted and then left without saying anything. It has been three weeks with a dumpster taking up my driveway and a big pile of supplies in my front yard. Nobody has been back since. After speaking with the company they wanted to add another $10k to the project in order to come out and finish the job. I let them know I was over it and asked them to remove the dumpster and their supplies. Now they want to add an $8000 restocking fee. There isn't even $8000 worth of supplies! The company is NOT responsive to customers but they want to be paid anyway. My roof now has a hole in it and it's been raining. It's about to start snowing. They left me in a bind. And they STILL want to be paid for a job they never got around to doing. read more

Only after writing a google review did anyone respond back with the status of the upstairs window. NO ONE in this organistation will call you and discuss the status of the job. Our Sales Rep, Joe, was professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough. No pressure. The Roofers were professional, skilled, and worked clean. Coordination and support from Project Manager, Kelsey, was oustanding. Our project was a big one. Change orders and scheduling were on point. I have norhing negative to say. Quality roofs are expensive. The people who left negative reviews probably couldnt afford this level of quality. The warranties surpassed expections. Was looking to replace two windows so I called for a quote, rep came out a couple days later and I told him up front I only want a quote as I have other companies I'm looking into, I also had my son home so I didn't want to sit through a 90 min presentation. He completely ignored my request and pressured me to sign a contract. The quote went from $7500 to $5000 within 15mins. My insurance was paying so I went with DaBella. It took 12 weeks for my windows to come in and the installers trampled over my tomatoes when I specifically asked them to watch the plants. A week or two later when I go to open the awning window it does not open, took two weeks for them to send a technician out to check and it's been 4 weeks since then and I haven't heard any update from the local branch, still not fixed and can not open my window. if I could, I would give them negative stars! They came to give an estimate when we were told the price would be good for 5 years. They spent 4 hours (5pm-9pm)doing sales pitch. I told them all along I want interested and just wanted the quote. "We respect no like we respect yes" was what they kept saying to me. At about 7:30 I got up and went into our kitchen to get things ready to get my kids ready for bed, they continued on their sales pitch. They then wanted to go over finances when we said we didn't have the money right now, and continued to say "You make enough money, why can't you get it done" I know the sales trick of having the customer say "yes 3x makes them more likely to say yes at the end to the product (I did sales), but when I kept saying no, when they went on with their pitch they became more ignorant and rude. My kids were late to bed, i didn't get dinner. They stayed in our driveway another hour when they got to their car To talk since he was a new salesman. Price started at $61k cuz our house was "worst they've ever seen" and going to collapse a day. After multiple calls, we were "lucky" to have them and they could drop it to $40K. I initially called for an estimate, and during the call the customer service individual said some things that put questions in my mind, I concluded the call and looked up the company and discovered there have been many complaints against this company so I simply called them back immediately and cancelled the appointment and the customer service person said "Fine" before I even got it out of my mouth, I double checked to ensure I was understood and concluded my call. Since then I have been called 3 times by their sales people to reschedule and each time I made it clear I would not be doing business with DaBella, and blocked their number, yet they still call from another location.
