Inside the Wyndham Grand Cancun- apart of the inclusive. Reservations are required Food 3.5/5 based on Calamari, salad and soup Service 3.5/5 busy so can get slow Price 5/5- included with hotel Condition of restaurant 3/5- do not sit close to the air condition unit in ceiling it drips water which dripped on us a few times the manager and service was amazing and wanted to move us. But we decided to just head out because it throw off the mood of dinner having droplets fall as we ate

Great veal. The most tender I've ever had. Bread was fresh. Desserts were also great. We were able to get all the courses because we were all inclusive at the resort. Didn't have a reservation but the staff seated us anyway in a great location and were very helpful since it's difficult to get a reservation but someone didn't show so we were able to take their place. It was at night so we couldn't see the ocean but the place was very nice and quiet.

Da Vinci was by far the best restaurant at Omni and a MUST when staying at this resort. It's a fine dining Italian cuisine and very intimate. Da Vinci Restaurant is open for dinner only and reservations are required, so make sure you make reservations at the concierge upon check in. Please note: If you're dining with kids the only reservation is at 6:00 pm. The food and service is great, the desserts come in a cute and artistic presentation but yummy at the same time. We had the chocolate piano and it was rich and delicious. DRESS CODE!!! * Ladies: Short or long dresses, dress pants, skirts, blouses. Great options with a variety of pastas salads and main courses. The portions are small so I would recommend ordering a few things from the menu. Some of the "traditional" meals were not what was expecting. For example, the shrimp scampi was over rice, not pasta. Our waiter was excellent and made sure our drinks kept coming

Chipotle pasta and they were able to add a grill chicken for me.

Da Vinci is inside the Omni Hotel and Resort. To attend Da Vinci you need to make reservations with the front desk but that was really easy to do. This restaurant was part of our inclusive fees so what we were able to just enjoy the evening. The atmosphere is very nice and romantic with candles and a nice view of the ocean. It has a very Italian essence . They have a dress code for ladies and men so just make sure you are prepared if you attend at this restaurant. May need to wear closed toe shoes and collared T-shirts. Women need to wear dresses or skirts. We like that we had one night out to be able to dress up since we were just in Cancun and beachwear for most of our trip. I had the strawberry pear salad and the chipotle Alfredo and the crème brûlée for dessert. My husband also had the strawberry per salad with the Alfredo and the artist palette cookie plate for dessert. The whole meal was a great experience and the service was excellent and I really enjoyed my food that I had it was a nice escape from the buffets and the poolside grills.

Waiters speak Spanish and English, are very friendly, and absolutely no wait for the waterfront table. The shrimp ceviche had so many shrimp with a tasty sweet sauce and avocado garnish. Guacamole was perfectly prepared, and all meals come with tortilla chips and a variety of salsas on a decorative boat tray. The tuna steak and Salmon with Lime Sauce were prepared perfectly and were both tasty and high quality. Sadly, the food was so delicious and filling we had no room to try the desserts. Navíos was nothing short of amazing!…read more My big baby and I went on our first (of many) vacation to Cancun. While there we picked three nice restaurants to try and Navíos was one of them. Ambiance is gorgeous. On the bay, this gorgeous restaurant is sexy and giving out door classy if that makes sense. Customer service was outstanding and the servers were super friendly. My big baby doesn't speak a lick of Spanish and they spoke English which was great. For all you non Spanish speaking people, have no fear they speak English too. Loved the Alligator sign as it did make the visit exciting, I really wanted to see one come near us but no luck as those visitors are night time party animals. Let's get into it! We are in Mexico where chips and salsa are complimentary! They were so good and the salsas were delicious. Who needs a real app when you have these! Shrimp Alfredo - It was good! Fish of the day - (native to the waters from there) He loved it! Dessert- We passed! Being on the bay there are tons of mosquitoes. We had to make a fast break to our hotel. Although the food was good we would likely never choose a restaurant with outdoor seating as this proved to be a bit of a challenge. They did have "Off" which helped. The only thing I like biting me while on a lovely vacay is my lover! No bueno to the mosquitoes. Side note: No stars off! The place is gorgeous and food was great!

There is parking right by it, but it only can hold 10 cars maybe? We lucked out and found a spot. VERY IMPORTANT, they only accept cash so make sure you have cash. They take pesos and dollars. You walk down stairs to enter the restaurant and it is very inviting and over looks the water. Apparently you can frequently see crocodiles in the water. We were not so lucky. At the advice of our friend and the waiter we got several of the Pescadillas (fried fish tacos). The waiter explained that the fish was actually shark. The tacos are 28 pesos each, we each got 3. And they were delicious, we also ordered the Shrimp with garlic mojo. The shrimp was sooo good, as is in the name, it is very garlicky but very good. Just bring some gum. Taking into consideration the ambiance, food, and cost. This was one of the best restaurants we have visited during our stay. We'll be back.

It's a steakhouse so think of leather, wood, modern, sleek, dimly lit, out door action taking place, and docking available. It's fine dining at the beach and how sexy is Harry's? Very Sexy! Part of the Anderson group we learned that Cancuns best restaurants are part of a chain and glad we were able to try two of them, Harry's being one. Service - Top notch. You know it's fine dining with the service you're getting as soon as you walk in. Let's get into it! Complimentary Bread - Yes please, the best ever! Appetizer - Oyster Rockefeller- These oysters were the biggest I've had seen in life. I did like them but they were lukewarm, they also didn't have bacon which for me, I needed it. They were just too big not to have something extra. Good nonetheless. Burger - Of course I got a burger because I'm a kid at heart. I loved it and that bun omg! Fries were great. Short Rib Sandwich - Delicious he loved the Au jus that went with it. Dessert - Chocolate Cake - It was good but had a bitter chocolate flavor. We always get dessert and this was not our favorite. Complimentary Cotton Candy? And that is exactly why they are 5 stars. It's like a whole love story in here, they aren't perfect but they sure make up for it in ways that count! Harry's has a wonderful setting directly on the water. You can access by car or by boat. They presented menus and all steaks come in 3 versions: Kobe, Waygu or USDA. I have to say crazy prices and I am accustomed to Miami. A waiter brings an actual display of the steaks to the table. The tomahawk has to be 3 feet tall. I cannot imagine anyone eating it! We all ordered USDA filets in the mid $80 range. I ordered mine medium. It was overcooked. No pink/red in the middle and very dry. I was a bit disappointed. We were never rushed. At the end, they brought a piece of cake for the birthday celebrant and a huge cotton candy for the table to enjoy. We each had individual bills. I assume because I was English speaking, they converted mine from pesos to US$'s. I always pay in pesos. The tip has been added and my bill was $139. Not sure how it went from $88 to $139. I did not drink any alcohol - only water. It was fine for a one time visit.

It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong things to try, I thought everything was good, but nothing that was so good it made me want to hurry back.

All-in-all it was worth the inconvenience. Very eclectic menu, warm atmosphere and outstanding service. I started withe the Mango-Tamarind: Lettuce, Indian walnut, mango, blueberries, Cotija cheese, mango-habanero dressing and tamarind billet. Unique and tasty. "Swiss Chicken Enchiladas" for the main course was not what you get at a local Mexican joint -- Four tortillas stuffed with chicken, bathed in a creamy tomatillo sauce with melted cheese and a base of refried black beans. This was a 5-star dish! I couldn't resist ordering a side dish though I didn't need to because the enchiladas were really enough, so I indulged myself with fries: these were not your run of the mill French fries. Porfirio's Potatoes -- French fries with chipotle pepper aioli, parmesan cheese and parsley. Finally, if you like ice cream I highly recommend that you order BOTH offerings: 1) "ICE CREAM TASTING" - Strawberry ice cream, chocolate ice cream from Metate, marzipan ice cream and vanilla from Papantla. Served with grated coconut, chocolate grain, M&M's, Oreo cookies and ice cream cones; and, 2) "PORFIRIO'S MOLECULAR ICE CREAM" - served with cajeta Worcestershire sauce in an ice cream cone. I took some notes and this is what I thought of the dishes. Xoajacan Imoladas - The mole is perfection. The flautas, superb. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. The microgreens, the sauce and the square Tostada works well all together. 8.8/10 Salmon - Cooked perfectly. The corn is a great accompaniment. The fish is impeccably seasoned. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak. Needs a little more zip, some citrus or vinegar would give this salad some justice. Its a little uninspired 7/10 Service is impeccable and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely.
