I ordered their Combo Plate: two scoops rice sprinkled with furikake, crab potato salad, fried noodles, and two proteins. I chose garlic fried chicken and teri beef. It was so good I actually cried a little. Living on the Big Island, everything was so far, and I couldn't satisfy my cravings easily -- so finally having a real plate lunch felt like comfort and home all at once. I hadn't been back since, mostly because they don't have a set schedule, and whenever they were close by, Bubba would be napping or I'd find out too late. But today, I finally got to go again -- and this time I brought Bubba. And she remembered me. "Weren't you pregnant last time?" she said. Such a small thing, but honestly an amazing memory and such a warm customer experience. Bubba and I had a little sidewalk picnic together. He tried fried noodles for the first time, loved the teri beef, and of course devoured the rice -- his forever favorite. I saved half the plate for my boyfriend since he's working. The rolls were tasty and the fried chicken was crispy skin and a lightly salted. Told the girl inside the truck we looked for you guys last week thursday and you guys wasn't there. She started to laugh explaining why they weren't there but I cut her off and said that day we came back 3 times couldn't find them we went home. LOL. Took a picture of their menu. I then noticed it was back again this morning! I looked up the name on Instagram and found out they were serving up Mexican food! My hubby loves Mexican so we had to try it out. First off, the customer service was amazing! They talked story with us, asked tons of questions about what we wanted in each order since everything is made to order. Here's what we got: 1. Beef Nachos: we ordered the small portion but this was HUGE! It has cheese, choice of beef or chicken, onions, cilantro, & sour cream. My hubby loves nacho cheese so he loved this! There was a generous portion of beef on top too. 2. Cheese Quesadilla: this was actually a kids quesadilla but it was definitely a regular sized one! It was simple with just cheese & tortilla but, they did not skimp on the cheese. It was THICK! 3. Chicken Burrito: this was definitely the star of the show! It was HUGE! It was sure good to be back, and I am happy for their business to have its own place where customers can sit, not just takeout. They are now located near West Loch station by Mickey D's and Seafood City [the shops West Loch station). I live in Honolulu but it was sure worth it to take the rail to satisfy my sisig craving. I ordered their pork sisig with rice, and it sure was still delish! Pro tip for the business is using calamansi instead of lemon (but still good!). My order seems like it is for just one person but honestly, if you share it with another person, you'd still be satisfied because it is stomach-heavy! If you didn't have much to eat throughout the day, you could easily demolish the sisig dish I ordered. For drinks, they have canned sodas inside for $2.00 but I decided to get some smoothies at Hang's just doors down the place. As the parking spot may fill up, you can always drop a buddy off to pick up some to-go order. I have yet to try some of their other dishes such as their beef pares noodles.
