Refreshing beverage at the Ko'olau Night Market in Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i...
Located at the corner of Haiku Road and Kamehameha Highway, in the Windward Mall parking lot, we saw
Da Local Lemon (food booth).
It was the only vendor that specialized in beverages.
On a warm September evening, we needed to stay hydrated. The large container looked inviting... one size (32 ounces) for the lemonade.
We almost got the original flavor, but thought about the sugar-free option, and ended up getting the Tropical Trio with chunks of strawberry, and slivers of peach and mango in it. The fruit was challenging to get through the straw, so we consumed it at home.
We fished out the lemon seeds, too... and squeezed the juice from the lemon wedges which shows how fresh the lemon was!
Service was very efficient, even though there was a short line!
We would return to try the other flavors such as Pink Paradise (strawberry, watermelon, and raspberry) and Swamp Juice (raspberry and green apple)! read more
