Super cute cafe with delicious coffee! The barista really took care with our coffees and even gave us some sparkling water free of charge as a palate cleanser on the side. The space inside is very cozy, and in warm weather, they have seating outside. They also have a small selection of cookies and the like as a snack to go with your coffee. Nice place to pop in and relax and recharge!

I had a horrible barista today with a bad attitude, who was wearing a neon orange hat. I come from out of state and love to support local coffee shops especially considering I also work in the same industry. But this girl was giving me so much attitude and dirty looks. She made my mom so uncomfortable she had to walk out. To top it off after dealing with her attitude my latte has grinds at the bottom of it. I felt like I was getting a coffee at Dicks last resort. Absolutely horrible the worst service

Visiting from SC and found this great place to relax and study while enjoying a selection of coffees and service from a very friendly staff.

It's a beautiful caffe with cozy tables and adorable decor. We had regular latte and oat latte. Both drinks were delicious. My regular latte had the best foam. It was smooth and silky. Everyone is very friendly and the place has positive vibes.

Iced Matcha Latte, delicious!

Allie behind the counter is great, super friendly and easy to talk to. The drinks here are amazing, had a Matcha Iced Tea, and an Americano last week and they were fabulous. The front area features tall stools and counter space for 4 by the window. The other side of the front door is a low chess tables where I've typically see kids playing or gathering. Seems popular with teenagers and younger, one group had a guitar out once and they sang a song, it was cute. I love that they serve old water in a glass dispenser, with small Mason jars. They also sell stainless steel straws at the counter for $1. Small dishes are also offered. I tried their 3 Poached eggs, tomatoes on English muffins, side of mixed berries for $9. A little heavy on the mayo but some people prefer that. Downtown Exeter always has tons of street parking, with such wonderful personality throughout. D Squared is definitely a more hip spot, the only full coffee shop in downtown besides getting a cup from a nearby eatery.

By far the best chai I had all weekend, it was so good and perfect on a fall day! I loved this place it was so cute in the middle of Exeter. FYI there was free wifi so don't forget to check in on Yelp for a special discount!

Nice place. Very relaxing in an old building with great character. Nice seating area. Nice mocha latte and iced cold brew. Friendly guy behind the counter.

Good cappuccino, and pretty, too. Just took FOREVER

Decent cappuccino but very slow service. Nice music and place full of locals grabbing a cup of coffee. Also has some offerings of light fare. Needs a good cleaning

Highly recommend this wicked cool coffee shop! I had the poached eggs with tomato over English muffin with cream cheese. It was very good! Coffee was delicious too

I say alcohol because it wasn't all wine but ... since it's a bit of a surprise in terms of what actually appears I'll just leave it at that. However, as to the food ... I'll give a taste, a flavor, a wisp of a whisper of the full culinary adventure. For complete details, see your local sous chef! Here's what we had. In the middle of my photo collage, a blood sausage slider with fennel/jalapeño sauce on toasted brioche bun. Then clockwise from top left - cornbread with maple glaze in a Barbie sized personal cast iron skillet; beet salad with goat cheese half spheres; a dessert tray of black apple cake with hay ice cream (yes, seriously), chamomile pot de creme and a duck fat beignet; an assortment of ice creams - fenugreek, fennel/maitake mushroom/burnt hazelnut (all tasted fabulous and in each you could taste the listed flavors); entree of duck and wild mushroom tart; white bean soup and finally a pasta dish of ravioli with two fillings. Just a note on what it would take to make it yourself. See that hexagonal white blob on the bottom row, middle pic? That's a potato foam. Forgive me for not recalling the full procedure but the prep is roughly 7 hours long. First, the cut potatoes are cooked in a sous vide for 2 hours so that no moisture is added to them. Then a succession of ricing, smoking, drying, undrying, mashing, placing in a foam machine that looked like a whipped cream dispenser and boom - a tiny dollop of potato. It tasted great. But man - that's a lot of effort for a mouthful of potato. I don't think I'll be trying it at home. Over two hours of eating and chatting. I brought a couple of my restaurant-based cartoons as my personal thanks for the meal and was shocked that Justin, their sommelier, had done a cartoon of his own ahead of time for me! Just stick to wine, Justin - I don't need any MORE competition with my magazine editors ... With Dylan ably providing the primary chef duties and Amaya and Justin handling the booze, the meal was a smashing success. The food pairings were masterfully chosen and timing of the dishes meant we were always primed for the next one. Although the succession of what I'd call dessert dishes made me start to feel like a Hobbit enjoying dessert, second dessert and then post seconds. As Anton Ego said in Ratatouille (and they have a cute Reme rat under glass on a shelf) "I shall be returning, hungry for more."

And they have free wifi which is great for working remotely. I also would love to say the service is fantastic. I don't know the name of the girl who served us but she was so friendly. And the drinks came out super fast! We got one of the energy drinks and a mocha. The energy drink was really good (very similar to a Rush at aroma joes!) and my dad enjoyed the mocha. But here is my only complaint.... The scones are not great. I think it is nice that they have a wide variety of pastries. But the scone (blueberry white chocolate) was both super dry and overly sweet. I couldn't even finish it. It was honestly reminiscent of crumbl cookies. So if you like sickeningly sweet scones (like the cookies at Crumbl!), then this would be great. I've had scones like this where it is balanced, but I fear this was too much and I probably won't get a scone here the next time I come. Otherwise, this spot is really cute and I highly recommend checking it out!
