Cute local coffee shop! Certainly a must pop by moment. Their lattes were made nicely along with their assortment of breakfast options

So much smeerrr!!…read more Stopped by for some bagels and they had a variety of fresh bagels to choose from except and everything bagel. You can order you bagel roasted with any of their specialty cream cheeses. I got their Lox cream cheese with a marble rye bagel. The bagels are a good size and they were not stingy with the cream cheese! It was loaded! The cream cheese was very creamy and smooth! There is not much seating so we ordered our bagels to go. The workers were very nice and worked very fast. The shop also offered coffee and cold drinks to go and they also had some goodies to buy such as coffee beans,/T-shirts. This place is super cute and cozy and perfect for a quick yummy lunch.

That's a huge plus and easy to miss if you're just skimming reviews. Now onto mine. Counter service with self serve coffee and tea. Good selection of bagels (they have rosemary, which not everyone has) and spreads (they have whitefish salad, which not everyone has), plus breakfast sandwiches and more ambitious lunch sandwiches. I found the service excellent, the pricing more than fair, and the bagels pretty good. Even though they're not cracking my greater Boston top 5 or my New England top 10, the bagels have a nice texture to them: chewy, but a lighter brand of chewy, kinda like a biscuit. That texture grows on you as you try more of them. The pumpernickel bagel was a little light on flavor but the onion bagel made up for it. The rosemary salt bagel was much heavier on the salt than the rosemary, but still good. I'd go back.

I enjoyed the standard plate that included a homemade biscuit the size of my head. Yes, I finished it. I mean, it was a homemade biscuit for Pete's sake! Iasked for soft poaced eggs and I got them. Lovely table service, too. Now, off to rehearsal for a film!

Our only real option was two seats at the bar. We had quick and attentive service from the bartender. Interesting offerings for cocktails, and we enjoyed our drinks. The food I think can be best described as American/Thai/Asian. Food came pretty fast, and we started with crab rangoon, and possibly the largest we have ever been served. Fried up crisp, not greasy and generously filled with cream cheese and real crab. Next up, we tried the Waygu burger which was quite good, nice toppings. My only complaint here was we wished the fries were fresh out of the fryer. I'm really fussy about fries and like them hot, crispy and fresh. Sadly, these were not. I had my eye on the Choco Taco for dessert, and this was a sophisticated version of the classic frozen treat you may have enjoyed from the ice cream truck as a kid. Home made with great ingredients, it was a perfect finish to a very nice meal. I would definitely give these guys a try when in Newburyport.
