If you're a dessert lover, this place is a must-visit! Their Tres Leches cake is an absolute dream--moist, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Each bite melts in your mouth, with the cake soaked just right in the three milks, offering an indulgent and creamy texture. The presentation is also top-notch, making it not only a delight to eat but also a feast for the eyes. Perfect for your Instagram feed! Highly recommend pairing it with a cup of their one of their signature milkshake and savory burger or poutine for the ultimate dessert experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, this Tres Leches cake will not disappoint. Don't miss out on this delectable treat! Pistache funnel cake

Delicious and amazing desserts..smells absolutely divine in here. Only complaint is the awkward service. First time we came here it was more food court style..order and pay at front and have the food brought to you..next two times it seemed like they were attempting to do table service (or lack thereof)..were ever offered water or anything..yet tips were expected?

New Dspot in the hood, right next to Farm Boy. Super bright and cozy dessert place and they had grand opening 25% discount off everything. I didn't realize they had so many food options, including burgers. There's hero burgers and Farm Boy in the same plaza, so not sure if it's worth trying? Anywho, I was shocked at the prices. Approx $20 for a funnel cake? Wow I mean I knew everything is pricey now but man... We just got the funnel poutine and it was close to $20 even after discount and taxes. It was awfully sweet but I haven't had funnel cakes in ages so maybe it was always this sweet? We waited about 10 mins to order and 20 mins for pickup. Would I come again? Only if there's another discount.

The line moved quickly and when it was my turn, I placed my order for one durian egg waffle and one original egg waffle. I also chose to pay an extra $3.99 and ordered the mango pomelo sago drink (only available as an add-on). I probably waited between 6-8 minutes for my order. They call out your order number when it's ready for pick up. We went to the food court to find a seat (there is no seating here, counter only to order your HK style egg waffles for takeaway), and I got into the durian one right away. It was so crispy on the outside and once bitten into, the gooey durian filling was heavenly. The original is just as delicious & the mango pomelo sago drink is probably the best I've had. There are instructions on the bag for reheating. I did follow it the next day since I didn't finish everything...1-2 minutes at 325 Fahrenheit. I found that it took longer for me but that's fine. It's not hard to figure out.

It is a decent snack though but doesn't compare to any D R. Service was quick and the order process was very simple and straight forward. i am a bit concerned about the cleanliness of the place as the waffle pans aren't very clean and there was not a designated pan to cook only the original with no filling. i am concerned for anyone having any food sensitivities and/ or allergies. The ambiance was decent if you went before the lunch rush. Was good to go during a weekday but imagine it being busy during the lunch time and also in the weekend.

He was even asking us about our day, and complimenting the pictures we were taking of the place, mentioning how it's post worthy! We ordered a Fury Road Ice cream sundae, Biscoff Ice Cream, and an Iced Latte with Oat milk. The ice cream and sundae were super delicious, with the perfect amount of sweetness. I've only had Biscoff once before, so this was definitely a unique and fun taste. As for the sundae, it was packed with brownie bits and chocolate sauce, making it rich and creamy. My latte was the perfect addition to simmer down after a sweet treat.

However they move pretty fast, so shouldn't be too big of an issue. Waffle was soooo good - however I think because we got two scoops of ice cream on top, it made the waffle lose it's crispiness , and parts of it became a little mushy. The matcha ice cream was so good, not just pure sugar, you could still get that distinct matcha flavour. However had a latte and that unfortunately was not good - could not taste the espresso what so ever, think they need to consider a stronger blend? - as it felt like I was having a warm cup of milk. Overall would come back to explore the sweets, hopefully try a croffle. But will skip on the coffee here.

If you're GF Not Worth Jumping Through the Hoops…read more When I found this place online, I was so excited. When one must follow a gluten-free diet, it is so nice to find places where you can eat what everyone else gets to enjoy. This was anything but enjoyable. I was planning a little Halloween getaway to Kingston and searching for a new and exciting breakfast place to stop on my way there. I found Heaffles and read through their website--I'm always very careful and vet my restaurants before the trip and plan food meticulously, you have to when you cannot eat gluten. The site stated that if you want a gluten free waffle, you must call 24 hours ahead of time. I immediately thought that was ridiculous (that eliminates any possibility of a GF person walk-in from eating there) but messaged them on Instagram. I asked if I could message then and schedule or did a I have to call. They told me I must call the day before. Pain in the bum, but I set a reminder in my phone and did so. The next day, I show up. Such a cute place and the breakfast that kicks off a trip always makes me so happy. We don't eat out much at all, living so rurally. It had also been ages since I'd enjoyed a GF waffle, so excitement was high. This place has a ton of potential. The seating is cute, the bathrooms clean and so beautifully decorated. There is even a little cubby with cushions that would make it feel as though one was having breakfast in bed. I really did fall in love with the space. There didn't appear to me to be a traditional server comes to your table. You walk in and place your order at the counter. I ordered a Flat White to drink along with a water and a gluten-free coconut rush. The young lady at the counter was very quick to tell me that they had a customer coming in to get a GF waffle and that they only had enough batter for one waffle and that I would need to try again and call 24 hours beforehand. Right before I told her I was that customer, my brain was like, what? You have enough batter for ONE waffle??? I make GF stuff all the time. It is NOT that expensive. And what if you mess up that ONE waffle (and they did because she didn't listen to me)? I said, "Oh, I called yesterday." And I had driven a very long way. I would hate for anyone else to do that and end up disappointed. After that, I was allowed to order my waffle. Coconut is my favourite sweet flavour, but it came with strawberries and strawberry syrup. I told her THREE times I didn't want the strawberries or the syrup. Strawberry jam, jelly syrup...I hate them all, also cannot stand cooked fruit. She told me she could put the strawberries on the side and that they were uncooked. I said that was okay, but reiterated AGAIN that I do not want or like the strawberry syrup. I thought I might get my drinks at the counter, but she said they would bring everything to my table. I sat within view of the counter by the window. I assumed, as at most places, the drinks would come out first. I had started on the Terra Health heartburn kit to kick my PPI script and needed to take the supplements before eating. Some ladies came in after me and they got their drink order while I sat and waited. The waffle came out, and I was too panicked by not taking my supplements to pay that much attention and told them I needed some water and that I didn't have my coffee yet. They came back in a few minutes and in the meantime, I saw that the waffle I'd paid nearly $30 for, along with a very tiny flat white coffee, was drenched...every inch in yucky strawberry syrup. I'm a silver lining kind of girl, so I told myself to try it, maybe my tastes have changed. Nope. It was this strong, chemically strawberry flavour that made me gag. Talk about disappointed. At this point it was late in the morning and I was starving. I opened up the waffle (the size, even if they'd managed to listen to my order was not worth what I paid) and ate some of the filling out. The only waffle that had no nasty syrup was at the fold and I ate the four bites I could. The coffee was literally 3 swallows. I left hungry and angry. And in all that time, no one ever came back to ask me how the order was...and I knew I couldn't send it back because that was their ONE GF waffle batter of the day. I had to stop at Wendy's and spend another $10 for a bunless burger after. I would never go back. The ask and not having the batter available is beyond RIDICULOUS, despite the fact they don't listen, which makes a GF person VERY nervous. You couldn't pay me to eat there again. Poor service, poor value and food I couldn't stomach. Not for me.

It was busier than I expected, though it was a Saturday evening. One thing I noticed upon walking in was an odd smell, which wasn't the best first impression. We came to take advantage of their Instagram BOGO promotion, where you receive a second ice cream free after liking and following their page. The catch is that both ice creams must be the same flavour, which makes sense since they essentially split one regular serving into two smaller portions. For example, we ordered the Ferrero Rocher, and they only used one Ferrero Rocher chocolate between both ice creams. If I'm being honest, this is a gimmick to get people to come and is not an honest promotion. Our other flavour was Mango Madness. Each ice cream comes with two toppings of your choice, and additional toppings are $0.99 each. There was a decent variety of toppings, including sauces (such as chocolate and mango), whipped cream, fresh fruit (strawberries and mango), flavoured jellies, and popping boba. Overall, the ice cream was just okay. At around $10 plus tax per serving, I personally didn't find the quality, taste, or portion size justified the price. The shop itself was fairly clean, modern, and had plenty of seating. The staff members we interacted with were friendly, although the manager came across as less approachable. I also understand that it takes time to make the ice cream since it's not just the usual scoop, but the time between getting our first and last ice creams were a little ridiculous as they didn't make them in order. People who had ordered after us left before we got our full order, leaving the first ones to start eating before their's melted. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it also wasn't memorable enough for me to return.

We were greeted at the door and offered the choice between a two-person table tucked farther inside or a four-person table closer to other diners. We chose the smaller table for a bit more privacy and ease of conversation. Menus were provided right away, followed shortly by tap water. When our server checked in to ask about drinks, we let her know we were fine with just water. Later, when we were ready to order, she came promptly when we called her over. A standout moment: we ordered just one smoothie, and she kindly asked if we were sharing, then offered to split it into two cups without us even asking. A thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The Pineapple Banana Smoothie was a highlight. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, and incredibly refreshing. My sister ordered the Halloumi Benedict. She noted that while the waffles leaned toward a sweeter flavor on their own, the combination of waffle, egg, and halloumi was well-balanced and worked beautifully together. The egg was jammy and spot-on in terms of taste, texture, and presentation. I had the Fully Loaded, which features a potato waffle topped with bacon bits, sour cream, chives, and cheese. It leaned a bit salty, but not overwhelmingly so, still quite enjoyable overall. I loved the potato waffle which has the slightly crispy edges but was soft to bite with a texture that resembled mash potatoes. As someone who isn't usually crazy about waffles, which was such a nice alternative. Each of our mains came with a side salad (lightly dressed and refreshing) and a choice of fruit salad, maple baked beans, or potato salad. We both chose the fruit salad, which was impressively varied with orange, grapefruit, watermelon, blueberry, blackberry, and banana. Note: Payment is cash or debit only.
