Packaged really well when we order on Uber eats. The crepes are really yum and worth it! A bit expensive for what it is but so worth it!

    Decor is fabulous!
    Interesting D.

Had an exceptional time dining at d Spot! We chose it for our celebratory Eid lunch, since it was all halal. We ordered the Bacon and Cheese Poutine and the Spicy Tandoori Chicken Poutine. Serving sizes were huge; you definitely get your money's worth. We also had the Chicken Pesto Pizza, which is enough for one or two and was tasty. For dessert, we had the Divide + Conquer (waffle topped with ice cream and s'more). This was more than enough for the whole family, and it was absolutely delicious. The owner and staff are friendly and efficient, and the decor is fun and inviting. Overall we were pleased with our experience, and will most certainly be recommending it to friends and family.

I went here for the first time and I loved it!! The customer service was amazing; I had a hard time deciding what I wanted because they have so many options, but the waiters were patient and very kind. Our server even gave my little cousin a free ice cream cone :) It is a little bit pricey, but I understand because the serving portions are huge! Highly recommend and would definitely go back! (Try the brownie with ice cream and fudge, as well as the poutine; it's to die for!)

Definitely more expensive if you compare to Dairy Queen, but so many more options with their flavours. It was very busy when I went at 9pm on a Monday night with two staff working. I do enjoy the concept of getting to choose my ice cream (7oz) and getting to mix the toppings in the ice cream. I'm pretty simple and went with the sweet cream and added almond pieces to help cut the sweetness, waffle pieces for texture and a little sprinkles on top to make it look cute. It was really good. The quality of the ice cream is great in comparison to other ice cream joints (however baskin Robbins is still up there). Now the thing that pushed this location up to 5 stars was the vanilla sugar cone. How many times have you gone to an ice cream joint and had a stale cone? This was FRESH! It had flavour and was very crunchy, you could instantly tell it was made that day. I'll be back! Keep Eating, Angela

If the owners are reading this: PLEASE BRING IT BACK. They also had other unique caffeinated inventions but I don't see them as often. That being said, their main stay is truly their gelato. And that has to stay. There are traditional flavours like cheesecake, but then you also got a Ceylon Ginger Biscuit all on display just being so enticing. It's practically begging for me to take it home. Which I did and loved it. They also have sandwiches which I haven't tried, but again they are unique and bring in those South Asian elements. Definitely worth trying.

If it gets too busy, you'll have to wait outside. Inside is nice and clean looking, very aesthetically pleasing. There were a lot of staff working too. I ordered a double scoop of the Maple Walnut and New York Cheesecake ($9 + tax). I really enjoyed the Maple Walnut, it was good. Had a good combination of both flavours. The New York Cheesecake was OK. It didn't really taste like the cake, but I still enjoyed whatever the taste was. The toppings that they put on top was good. It was like some crunchy crumble. Overall, I'd come back and try out the other flavours. Looking on their website, they have so many other flavours which weren't available at the time. One thing I would have liked to see was some outdoor seating or something. I had to stand outside the shop to eat my gelato.

It has been popular among locals since they opened in 2008. The prices are quite reasonable at $3 for 1 scoop and $4 for 2 scoops. Even banana splits are only $5. All prices include taxes! We had a 2-scoop cone: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Pralines & Cream. Both scoops were creamy and tasty. My son really loved them but I did manage to get a little bit of both flavours. There is some savoury food served too like hot dogs, fries, poutine, and coffees. It is owned by a husband and wife team: George and Irene. Both are very pleasant people. They love having fun signs such as: "adults must be accompanied by children" and "children left unattended in this store will be sold to the circus". You can only pay by cash or e-transfer. There is no phone number because I can see they are extremely busy. You can still contact them via social media. There are picnic tables outside. During pandemic times, all staff and customers wear face masks and there is plexiglass used. Only one family is allowed in the small order area at a time. Just outside the entrance, you can be entertained by a famous saxaphone player, Orlando (a Cuban), during nice the afternoons. Today (2021-09-05), we were lucky to also have a guest keyboardist also from Cuba. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair  accessible. You can use a washroom by request. Parking may not be easy to find but people tend to parking in the large parking lot behind to store. Review 2021-084 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

It's really a mish mash of stuff. The ice cream sold here is Kawartha Dairy, so that bit is pretty standard. But the servings are pretty big & a single is only $3 and a double $4, including tax. So it's cheaper than going to a Kawartha outlet They only accept cash & etransfer. The guy is pretty friendly, though there were some ice crystals in the ice cream.
