Updating my review from 2 years ago. The owner made things right and I'm so glad I gave them another chance!! I've now gone dozens of times and have always had a great result. The place is clean and calm, and Sophia does my gel builder fill every 3 weeks. I have also seen Hannah, Sammi, Mia, Helen and many others who have always been super nice and exceptionally skilled. I live nearby, and walk to my appt, where I get to relax and watch incredible Vietnamese food videos that make me so hungry, while my nails are worked on. This past week I got a pedi with my mani and it was so nice to sit in the massage chair, get my toes and hands done, while I listened to an audio book. Thank you Toan, Sophia and everyone who works at D'Nails. I'll see you again in a couple weeks.
First time here and had a very pleasant experience. Plenty of parking and was able to get a same day appointment. Greeted warmly as soon as I walked in even though they were clearly busy. Able to be seated for my pedicure and full acrylic set within my appointment time. Both nail technicians were so detailed and did my nails to perfection. Very impressed and will be back.
Thoroughly impressed with this nail spa and the calming/welcoming vibe it gives off! There were no awkward looks or stares from the employees nor the clients which is an added factor to a good review for me, personally. But it started with a call in which I think the owner answered (male), and I requested a Gel Pedicure which totaled up to $45. (Not bad in my pocket book, that's the average gel pedi price!) I visited on Monday (July 7th) almost close to closing time which is 7pm. I arrived around 6:05pm ish, then checked in and did have to wait a bit since there were other clients already getting serviced before me, but it wasn't for too long at all! I was serviced by Arin & omg is she the most sweetest, cutest & gentle handed woman ever! I have tiny little toenails & she took her TIME to make sure the extra nail polish that leaked over on my skin was cleaned up and all. I appreciate the small things like that since I'm a detail oriented person and have experienced nail shop horror stories in the past lol... above all, the customer service is top tier here, the service didn't take long & I told the owner that I will be back! I'm always taken care of here, I usually have some idea of what I want and leave with something better than expected or something different I normally wouldn't try but love!! The vibe is pretty chill and Steven is always so accommodating to add me to his schedule! My friend and I recently moved an hour away but we love the service here we make it a day to come here to get our nails done! Much love to my boy Steven
I came across this nail spa here on yelp. I've been looking for a new nail salon and this one of all got great reviews. Made my appointment the same day when I got here. It was a full house, but I was greeted right away. A chair was waiting for me. They took me a couple minutes before my appointment which was amazing. I had very bad brutal nails from a previous nail salon. My nails were very, very short very weak and Sammy recommend me to do gel X which I've never heard of before, but I absolutely love my new nails they look very natural. Hannah did an amazing job with my pedicure took her time. I had a bad ingrown nail and she took it out with no problem. I think I found my new nail spa salon.
This is my new fav nail place! I've been looking for a new nail place for a while now and I decided to try this place out. I booked the earliest appointment (since I had class after) and I was seen at that exact time and finished an hour after! They are super quick and clean! Not to mention very friendly. The guy who did my nails is Steven. He is the best! He has his technique downnn! I would 100% recommend them to anyone reading this review as well as my friends and family! I just got my nails done today and I absolutely love them! They turned out exactly how I wanted, even better than I expected. My nail technician, Helen, was very patient and really listened to all my requests. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The salon has a very friendly and cozy vibe, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend -- 5 stars!
I had a pleasant experience getting my nails done, along with a pedicure, and I encountered no issues during my visit. Both my nails and my feet turned out beautifully, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I received the Gel X on my nails. However, I did find the customer service to be somewhat lacking. I tried to engage with the nail technician in hopes of building a friendly rapport, but it felt like he wasn't really interested in chatting or establishing a connection. It would have been nice to have a more welcoming atmosphere. I asked his name and he was hesitate but told me. Although I forgot his name, I didn't think he wanted me to know anyway. As for the woman who did my pedicure, she was quite reserved and didn't engage in conversation at all. In fact, she never introduced herself, which made the experience feel a bit impersonal. While the quality of the services was great, the overall customer service left something to be desired. I believe a little more friendliness and communication could greatly enhance the experience for clients. Overall, while I loved the results, I hope to see improvements in the customer service aspect during my next visit. Bathroom was clean and overall shop.
I've been coming to this nail salon every three weeks for the last year, and the service has been consistently amazing. Every technician I've worked with has done a fantastic job no matter who you book with you're in good hands. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the selection of colors is extensive so there's always something new to try. I recently made the switch from gel X to hard gel, which I had never tried before, and Helen made the transition so easy. She explained everything clearly and made sure. I felt comfortable with the change. My nails have never looked better. I recommended this salon to several friends and family members, and they all had great experience it too if you're looking for high-quality work, friendly service and a clean professional environment. I highly recommend this place!

Sophia did a decent job on my nails, and I was very happy with her work. Unfortunately, the customer service outside of Sophia was very poor. The gentleman at checkout was rude, dismissive, and more interested in his personal phone than assisting customers. He charged an additional $2 fee just to use Apple Pay or a credit card, which is unreasonable. When I asked about leaving a tip, he rushed through the process, barely spoke, and walked off without any courtesy. This lack of professionalism left a very negative impression. I came here for the first time to get my nails done , and I was super happy with the results! The whole experience was relaxing and didn't feel rushed at all. What I loved most was she took her time with the details and made me feel like my opinion actually mattered. She even held up both hands side by side a few times to make sure everything looked balanced and even. When it came to the design, she did a little sample on one nail first so I could approve it before doing the rest. That was such a thoughtful touch! They had a great selection of colors and were really gentle during the pedicure (no pain, no rushing). I've gotten so many compliments on my nails since! Prices were fair for the quality, and the staff was friendly without being pushy. Will definitely be coming back again! read more
Helen was very nice and you can tell she truly cares about her work. I noticed the techs are methodical and ensure the nail length is consistent between hands. Everyone had such a laid back and friendly demeanor. I was their last appointment and they didn't seemed rushed at all, they took their time to perfect it. Completely recommend this nail salon. We love our nails they look great and everyone was really nice and clean. Side note: if any customer was there on 6/5/25 (last Thursday) and found a Pandora bracelet with stitch Minnie and some other charms on it can you please reach out to me. My daughter lost her bracelet in or outside the nail shop. I called and Ryan was very helpful in looking for it for me. I know sometimes we find things and it's tempting to keep but if you found it please return it. My baby has been crying about it since and cries herself to sleep. She's only a minor (and no I'm not looking for anyone's opinion on why a minor has a pandora bracelet). read more

This is my first time ever writing a review and I just have to say it's for a great reason. I had been on the look for a new nail salon that was capable of doing intricate and professional designs and making them look flawless. When I say D Nails is the place for that I mean it! I got this red set done by the amazing and fabulous Helen my first time ever at D Nails and she left me excited and thinking about my next set immediately!! This zebra set I just got done today and I knew I needed to share my glowing review! I cannot stress enough how talented, fast, professional and sweet Helen is! This is my second time coming to her and I know that she is going to be my go to nail tech EVERY TIME!!! 1st of all, let me start by saying that I followed Ryan (the owner) from his salon in West LA. I was heartbroken knowing that complex was being taken over. So it's a true delight that he was able to get into another location! I'll happily travel to him for quality service! Ryan and his staff are all so incredibly amazing at what they do. He, in particular, is fast, detail-oriented, and the pricing is great for the results you get! The salon is spacious and clean! There is so much FREE parking in the plaza lot. And, appointments can be easily made by calling or texting. I'm personally an old-school acrylic fan and there's no better spot to get quality acrylics that are durable, shaped perfectly, clean cuticles, and an extremely huge selection of polish colors (both regular and gel). Ryan is also good at nail design for simple painted designs, encapsulated nails, and ombre's! He's also very fast! Full set and design in an hour and refill & paint/design in about 30ish mins. If you're looking for a new spot to get your nails done that provides quality services and results, I absolutely recommend coming here!! read more

I've been to this place twice because I wanted to try a new place. First time, I got a full set and pedi. The lady who did my pedi, barely cut and trimmed my toenails. I went two weeks later for a refill on my full set , she had to remove all nails because they were in bad shape. One week later they fall off. I will not be going back to this place. In a matter of a month I've spent a total of $180 including tip for this terrible service. Not to mention how uncomfortable I felt on my first pedi when I pulled up my pants and my hairs were long and they all started laughing and being loud. Obviously I did not understand a word. But it felt very rude. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to my nails, I like full acrylic sets with designs. I just moved to the area and my regular nail tech went on maternity leave so I was shopping around ..They were super nice scheduled me for the next day when I asked, I saw Vivian and she executed my inspiration photo as requested, she is an excellent artist. I had my nails done at Q Nails and I was extremely impressed. I got a deluxe pedi tthat came with three amazing services which included a callus softener, an orange sea salt scrub and a hot oil milk massage. Very impressed with their customer service. I was serviced by Michael on my nani, Tracy on my Pedi and Tammy on my eyebrows. What a great experience. I will be back! Did I mention that I got a shot of hennessy! I had high hopes for this place given all the outstanding reviews. Helen was really sweet. But I felt that what I asked for I didn't receive. I know my nails are shorter than the inspo pic, but the flowers were just not totally what I was expecting and were very large. My right hand looked better than my left as the left flowers resembled big blobs. I felt rushed towards the end because my appointment was booked close to closing. But I had made myself clear that I was wanting a design beforehand so they should have budgeted time better. Overall this isn't to bash the service, she was nice. I just felt for over $60 I'd at least get what I payed for. Or at least I wish they could tell me they wouldn't be able to fit that many flowers on my nails as I had hoped. I would have just walked away. I think if the flowers were done smaller they would have fit more. Also I didn't feel that the sanitation was up to par in terms of the tools being used. Edit: I came back in and Helen corrected my left hand nails. She was very kind about it. read more

Sadly, I need to find another nail salon. Last time, it was obvious they took two walk-ins just as I arrived, so I had to wait nearly 40 minutes for my pedicure. This time, the owner told me my nail technician needed a 10-minute lunch break, right at my scheduled appointment time of 3:15pm. A half hour later, I asked if he was coming back soon. When Steven finally started my nails, he tried to make me feel bad for not being 'patient' while he took his break, saying his regular customers understand he needs to eat and wait for him. Apparently, the phone number I provide when booking an appointment can't be used to notify me if they're running late. Instead, I was shamed for their lack of professionalism. It is also incredibly rude to hold extremely loud conversations across the shop in another language, yet the staff all seem to think this is acceptable. It is far from a relaxing environment. Steven rushed through my nails so quickly that I had to point out a large spot he missed filling before applying the gel polish. Of course, that was somehow my fault too, because instead of a fill, he said I should get a full set next time. For this, I paid $48 plus tip and left with a headache. Steven, please use my $10 tip to buy yourself some manners. My sister and her two daughters have already found another salon that treats them with dignity. Now it's my turn. I'm glad this shop is so busy they won't miss four former regular customers. read more

This is my go to nail salon! I recommend making an appointment since they do get very busy. They accept walks in but be prepared to wait. Nonetheless they do amazing work here. I've gotten my manicure and pedicure done by numerous nails techs here and they always do an amazing job; you can tell attention to detail is their forte. Helen did this set for my vacation with family. Bring your reference photos here and you'll never be disappointed! read more
