I think I devoured my burrito in less than 5 minutes. It was amazing. The flavor the sauce, all of it, perfection. We sat outside because we had our dog with us. Inside was super cute though. Waiter was super friendly and he was quick with our drinks and order. He even brought out some deep fried, lemon pepper corn cob for us to try which was also AMAZING. Love the eclectic vibe of this place. We each ordered burgers which were branded with the D Food Collab logo. Parking was on street and service was excellent. I had a glass of wine but wished I would have looked through the menu and ordered a margarita. They looked good. I had the classic burger which was good. Fries were thin and crispy. Short Version- It wasn't anything great. Honestly, probably won't go back. Long version - The vibe was good. The drinks seemed to be good (not a drinker). The food was a little disappointing. I ordered traditional chicken wings for an appetizer, and a kids burger for my meal, my boyfriend got 2 of the birria tacos. The wings were ok. Nothing amazing but solid. The kids burger was fine- strongly seasoned. The birria tacos were ok as well. Nothing was amazing but everything was average. I was a little shocked by the prices. I know everything is getting more expensive but I did not expect that big of a jump from the listed menu price. They did have a note for a notice of the price increase, but didn't have an amount to expect. The kids burger was $14.99- I did sub for sweet potato fries but did not expect a $7 difference- listed as $7.99. The wings were listed as Market Price (fair), but it was $14.99 for 10 traditional. I believe the Tacos were around $9 and $7 for 2 drinks. The service was fine. She kept our drinks full. I believe it was 2 girls doing service for all the tables (wasn't too busy). First timers. Overall a good experience and I really like to support local businesses. Will try it again. Here's the run down. Atmosphere: great, cute, eclectic, relaxed Cocktail: Lavender Lemonade 5 stars Classic cheeseburger with side fries: Cheeseburger 3 stars : everything but the meat was good. I thought the menu said "hand made patty" but this was clearly the frozen weird meat patty with that strange texture and taste. Fries 4 stars: we're not fresh but still good. Pastor tacos: 4 stars. Oh my gosh I went here way a while back and it was amazing I got the Beria Ramen and it was cooked too perfection the noodles were nice and soft and I'd really soaked up the flavor and the meat was so tender. The service was great. They got to us right away and I had this a while back and it is the best thing I loved the experience I had in the inside it was dimly lit with nice couches and furniture. We drove 1 1/2 hours to Dalton to have a windshield repaired, got it done & needed to eat. We found D Food Collab on Google Maps with really good reviews & decided this was the place. Street side parking was aplenty which is a definite plus. Walking into the restaurant had a cool eclectic kind of vibe. We were immediately seated at a high top (which I prefer) & sat in the most uncomfortable chair I've ever parked my tush in. Plus we were right under a speaker that was pounding out annoying sound for it being 3:00p in the afternoon...Our waitress came quickly & I shared my thought about the chair & that we had to move. She was a sweety & quickly moved us to another "low" table that ended up having equally uncomfortable chairs, just not as high... So the first impression was meh at best, but instead of doing what I normally would have & bolt out the front door, we decided to suffer through buttocks paralysis & give the food a try. And mostly glad we did. We ordered the fried pickles for an appt along with a couple of adult beverages. Our waitress brought out a plate of Fried Jalapeno's & said the kitchen screwed up & were making our Fried Pickles & said the Fried Jalapeno's were on the house if we'd like them. And we did like them, a lot & we cleaned the plate. Shortly after our Fried Pickles came out & were blisteringly temperature hot. After burning our tongues, we let them cool a little, then tried them again. Best I can say is they were meh. We both like frickles that are pickle slices instead of pickle spears & these were spears. The breading was delicious, but the pickle spears inside the breading were overly vinagery & way too big & we left the majority of the plate to go in the garbage. Next was on to our entrees: My lady ordered the Birria Melt which was a kind of a souped up grilled cheese sammy with Birria meat as a protein & she said it was excellent. It was accompanied with their fries that I had to taste & agreed with my lady that they were really good. I ordered the Ramen Birria & all I can say is ¡Dios mío, qué plato tan delicioso! For gingo's reading this, that translates to Oh my goodness what an amazing dish! It came in a cool bowl with fresh lime & a couple pieces of toast & was nuclear heat hot, so I had to suffer through patience waiting to give it a try without scorching my poor tongue. I finally figured out to use a fork to scoop up a helping of Ramin so it would cool, then to my salivating mouth. And oh my goodness, was it GOOD! I doubt they make it with goat which is the classic Mexican way, but whatever meat they use is succulent & tender. The broth was delicious with a nicely generous sprinkling of fresh cilantro, one of my favorite herbs. The combination of the excellent Birria with the Ramin noodles is a really creative way to meld two very different tastes & it was a 100% win. If we get back to Dalton again, I'll definitely do this dish again! Summary: 2 stars for the horrible make your tush numb uncomfortable chairs & way too loud mid-day music. 4 stars for the mix-up in our app order. 5 stars for the delicious food!!!! read more

This place is the epitome of ambiance!! It's such an eclectic place to walk into. We were on a break from softball, and I found it online. It's in the downtown area of Dalton, but there was parking available. I could imagine it being scarce if the place were busy. We visited around 345p on a Saturday. When you walk in, there are things to look at everywhere! The seating is limited to what seemed to be about 20 tables, so if it's busy, they might have a wait. There were couches, chairs and stools all over. Like a museum!! We were immediately greeted by a young man, then our waitress/bar tender Erin. She was super sweet! She sat us and here we go with the experience!! We ordered waters and I ordered a strawberry margarita. Erin put her foot in that thing because it was amazing. She actually filled it to the rim. It was perfect. It was time to order, and yes, the menu has so much to choose from, so come hungry. I ended up getting 3 birria tacos with cheese and my wife ordered loaded fries. It took less 10 minutes to get our food and OH BOY!!! The birria tacos were STUFFED with meat and whew, as tasty as they come. My wife's loaded fries had guacamole, tomatoes, and onions. Went here with some co-workers on a weeknight. There were a couple of young men playing guitar and singing Mexican songs, which was nice for the ambience. We started with some Mexican street corn (excellent), fried jalapenos (very good) and chips and salsa (also good). My burger was a little salty and not very juicy. Not to say it wasn't good, but just OK. They do have a good selection of some local beers on tap, served nice and cold. The place itself is cozy. It's not a place to watch a game; more of a place to grab a few beers and some casual bar food. Our waitress was young, and when we asked her about the different beers she didn't really know. Stopped here for lunch with some of our team before we were scheduled to play baseball at the Riverbend complex. Service was great and food was delicious. Had burgers, wraps, salads and sandwiches all served with tasty seasoned fries. Boys enjoyed playing with giant connect four. Lots of seating for groups. The food was delicious! I ate a burger with a fried egg on it called the WH. It was a awesome burger with real meat and tasted just like homemade. We went on a Friday so they had a live band. I found the music a little loud bc when the band was playing you had to yell at people so that they could hear you. If you don't want the loud music you can just go Any other day of the week except Friday. The atmosphere was awesome. They have old signs from around Dalton hanging on the walls and they even have the front end of a old truck w/working headlights hanging on the wall. The restroom was even decorated and laid out nice. We sat at a high table with small stools which I did not like bc the stools were metal and hurt your butt. But all in all I loved it. Will definitely go back not on a Friday and ask for a shorter table so that we get regular comfortable seats. Also there's a bar and outside tables. I would say the only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the service was so slow but it was really crowded also but it probably took at least a half an hour before anyone even came to our table. and when we did get service, they were really nice and friendly and apologized for away. The worst I have ever been treated in a restaurant. They forgot to close their parking lot for an even and told us they advised us to move our car within 5 minutes. Would have been easier to swallow had there not been other issues. Paid $48 and I didn't even get to eat. Who wants to make their customers move their car while their $50 meal goes cold.
