On Friday night my husband and I went to dinner at D'Coccos Restaurant & Pizza. The young lady who pointed at a table for us to sit left without saying a word. After a few minutes a young man gave us a menu and silverware after having to as for them We waited as more people were coming in to have dinner and they were being served water, while we were still sitting there with no acknowledgement. Love this spot for the food. its an easy, local pizza place in a strip mall. Parking can be difficult because of the number of other establishments in the mall. They have great, fresh garlic knots. The pizza is great too and most of the pasta dishes. although a friend had the mussels and they were rubber like they had been microwaved. Sometimes the service is a little rushed because of the number of customers and it can be unorganized but overall they are friendly and fast. read more

Came here during my 30 minute lunch break and ordered a chicken cesar salad. Shortly after I ordered, what appeared to be a regular customer came in and ordered the same salad as I did. She left with her food two minutes later, and I had to wait another 5-10 minutes. Clearly they gave her my salad and chose to make me wait, making me late to return to work. It should be first come, first serve. Poor customer service. read more

They have Gluten Free pizza options!! For this they get 5 stars. (And it's delicious)

D'Coccos has the best Pizza! They are original, fresh and very creative. We have been using them to cater our parties for years. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are plentiful. They have the best Italian food by far! Their eggplant Parmesan and meatballs are my favorite. My husbands favorite is the veal Parmesan and shrimp Parmesan. They never disappoint. They are a very well run family business in Oceanside for over 30 years and I highly recommend them! read more

Went in a few times over the past year, just out of convenience, and only ever ordered the pizza. Now nothing against the owner or the place but the pizza is probably the worst in Oceanside. Might explain why the place was empty when I went in there at around 6 at night. Makes me wonder about the so called good reviews I see. A friend of mine ordered food from here for her party and everything was DELICIOUS! The only complaint was they forgot to deliver the salad so we had to wait ... but otherwise - the meatballs were excellent, the stuffed shells to die for and the chicken franchaise was YUMMY! Writing this review a little late but I feel like a customer experience should be shared to show how a business treats them. An order was placed Halloween day in the evening and it was a pretty decent order size. The delivery driver came and come to find out forgot half the order. The driver said it was the busiest time of the year and wasn't coming back with the rest of the order. They said there was nothing that could be done so we had to call and complain just to get the driver to go back and get our complete order. The driver came back and started complaining and giving us a hard time that he had to come back. I'm sorry you should have been prepared and known how busy it would be not to mention missing half the order. Over all the food experience wasn't even worth all the trouble, all I can say is never ordering again. read more

Good solid pizza place. I don't know what is up with Oceanside and watery sauce, but it is not as watery as another spot. Putting this place on the OK list and will continue looking around for a great pizza spot. Garlic knots were not that impressive, pin wheels were good. This place is really wonderful. The staff are friendly, atmosphere is wonderful and they have the best pepperoni rolls I have ever had. The jury is still out on the pizza. I feel like it could be great but something is missing. I overload my slice with garlic though...instant-flavor-fix. But the rest of the items on the menu are delicious. read more

Been here only once but the food was really good. Sure the front part is a pizzeria, but there is a very nicely decorated area in the rear for a sit down dinner with service. Now this is a pizzeria. Since they have redone D'Coccos not too long ago it has been nothing but amazing. The have some of the best slices of pizza I have ever seen and the quality is amazing. The staff is very friendly and the seating is very comfortable. This is the ONLY pizzeria I would go to in Oceanside. Pizzaolia is absolutely horrible, Lias has been trash since it moved from next to play it again sports this is the only place you should be going for a great slice and good vibe environment. read more

Great food! I am having the Honey Mustard Chicken slice tonight and it's out of this world ! They also, make a great Baked Ziti Pizza. Their Seafood Fra Diavolo is excellent, also and Tartufo for dessert is a must! The only dishes I haven't liked so far, is the Sausage and Pepper hero. I find it to be a little too light on the sausage. I also, don't like that the veggie slice pizza is a diet slice on whole wheat. It should be on regular pizza dough. We went here because we had a Groupon and wants to try out new places . We were no impressed. When we came in the waitress saw us and walked AWAY from us so the owner/ manager had to sit us . We set there for 15 minutes before the waitress approached us to take our drink order by which point we were ready to order, she had no idea what or how Groupon worked and did not know the menu when I asked her a question. Service was extremely slow. The only reason I am giving is 3 stars and not 1 was because food was really good and the busy boy that was in mid eating his dinner would get up and help the waitress that was totally lost and confused. Also, we didn't appreciate that we felt like we were over staying the welcome because they literally started to clean up and flipping chairs and mopping floors at 859 pm on a Saturday night, that made me just rush and stuff my food as quickly as I could. This is one underrated pizzeria. The margarita slice is one of the finest slices on the planet. The rigatoni alla vodka slice, sublime. Let's not forget to mention the sauce-less fresh tomato and garlic slice. The owner's mother makes a dynamite ricotta cheesecake. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the grandpa pizza (don't tell grandma!). Like most pizzeria's it's hidden in a shopping mall. SEEK IT OUT!! You will not be disappointed. Decent food, diverse menu, and quick delivery. Prices seem a little expensive, but it's not enough to deter me from ordering when I'm looking for pizza. A large pie is huge, and definitely provides enough pizza for a group. I've had the GF pie, and it's pretty good as well. Placed an order for delivery waited over an hour, called the restaurant for them to tell me they were banging on the door and ringing the bell and called my phone . UM NO ACTUALLY YOU DID NOT, they offered to bring my order back, NO THANKS I DONT WANT COLD FOOD, their response ok we will just cancel.
