I've been here twice and both times service has been top notch, the waitress and waiters are attentive and give suggestions . They are pleasant and always asking if anything else is needed. This place is somewhere you can come for lunch or dinner or even just to lounge around for music and chill time. The food so far has never been a disappointment , not only are their portions large their food is also freshly made. This place provides authentic Peruvian food that makes you feel like your there. First time here and I think this place will definitely become one of our favorites. We sat on the side with the high top tables as there wasn't anything available in bar area. Service was friendly and prompt. The food here to me is spectacular. The flavors and the way the plates are served is amazing. We had ceviche and yuca as an appetizer. Omg the yuca is tender and the sauce is delicious. For dinner I had a whole snapper with shrimp mussels scallops and calamari over the top with a creamy garlicky sauce. Absolutely delicious. The food is okay tbh. I had lomo, my personal favorite dish of my culture, and it honestly wasn't even worth it. The total price was unbelievably overpriced and then to top it off the service was horrendous and there's NO FUCKING PARKING. Now for the fun part...I'm a person who believes "we all have an off day where things just go wrong" and as such I strongly believe in second chances so here I came again and dude I shouldn't have given that chance. This time was actually worse. They forgot to bring my appetizer to which the waitress then proceeded to pretty much continue to offer us the appetizer after our meals were already here and we had already said no. Up next, the same waitress was STRAIGHT UP FLIRTING with my dad (A MARRIED MAN WHO PROUDLY WEARS HIS WEDDING BAND) in front of us all. And then they forgot an addition to my mother's order to which they just played it off. Honestly, this overpriced hell hole that has other locations is one that I will NEVER step foot in . I had the shrimp in the garlic sauce which was delicious. My margarita was good & I didn't have a headache the following morning. Went to the Trump rally today So me and my friends went in for beer 2 beers and a bill for 17 dollars They added an 18% tip I was like really Tried to fight it but they couldn't speak English at all Ordered a margarita and it was horrible!!!! Today the Boys traveled to Haledon to eat at a familiar location that has changed hands. Years ago we wen to Shepherd and the Knucklehead. It is now a Peruvian restaurant by the name of D'Carbon. If you like Peruvian food get yourself to Haledon and try some! For appetizers we had Papa A La Huancaina ( sliced potatoes with egg and creamy Yellow sauce) , Calamari Frito , and Salchiapa ( French fries with sliced hot dogs. For mains we had Picante Mariscos ( shrimp, calamari, crab, and mussels in a creamy red sauce ), Camaronies Al Ajillo ( Shrimp in garlic sauce) , and Lomo Supremo ( seasoned beef, Chicken and shrimp with sautéed onions and tomatoes !!! Disgusting. First they serve me a glass of coke. The fountain drink tasted like left over food from the sink. The table smelled awful. The noise was unbearable. This is not a dance club. My husband and I came here for a date night. He tries to eat keto and avoids rice / potatoes, and they were so accommodating! Food was delicious and the portion is HUGE! I had a mango frozen margarita which was strong and really good (but they charge $1 for the mango, which I didn't find out until the bill...) I like that you can make your meal as budget friendly or as pricey as you want depending on the cut of meat or type of fish you order. Waitress was attentive and friendly.
