Stopped in for a quick bite. I had the fried okra and catfish. Both were delicious. I like to order a side of the buffalo wing sauce to dip my fish in. And, no meal is complete, in or out of the restaurant, without the special D'bo's special seasoning. I keep a bottle at home because it's good on just about everything! Oh, and you can only buy it at the restaurant. Service was prompt and courteous. One thing I don't like is that they will nickel and dime you on the extras (e.g. dipping sauce, seasoning, etc.). I made an order through uber eats recently. With so many wing places in Memphis, I realized I had never had Dbo's, so this was actually my first time. (Yeah, I know) I ordered a 5 pc whole wing - lemon pepper flavored. The wings were still piping hot despite the location being 7 miles away, plus whatever time it took for the driver to pick them up and deliver them to me. They were super seasoned, and they gave me a realistic amount of ranch dipping cups. I also ordered a regular side of fried okra and it was seasoned well, probably the best okra I've had in Memphis so far. And, it was the smaller size, but still happened to be a big portion. Was only able to finish half of it. In my opinion its a good amount of food for the price. The wings aren't puny, they were pretty big. Everything tasted great! Will definitely add this to my top wing spots. Hope its consistent. If nothing else, I'm fasho going back for that okra. read more

One thing about dbos they always gone come through. I got invited to a black restaurant week event there for local restaurants and influencers and I haven't been to this location. I have never been able to successfully complete a delivery from here, as the orders are never ready but are always perpetually "coming right up" for 20 minutes or more. I swear D'Bos ain't been the same since they closed the one in Raleigh La Grange. They are way too high to continually mess up orders. I get the same thing everywhere I go to order wings... 10pc whole wings/5 hot;5 lemon pepper/ fried hard/extra wet!!! Not only were they not fried hard, they barely had any sauce in them. To add to that... they were cold. Now I live 15mins away. I wasn't expecting the wings to be extremely hot, but these were barely warm or room temperature. Called the guy and he says I have to bring the wings back up in order for him to do a remake-NO refund. It wasn't worth the 15min drive, I put them in the airfryer for the same amount of time. Despite the many orders they had, my 100 piece came out amazing and received plenty of compliments at my Super Bowl party. In my opinion, there are no better hot wings to be had. The regular hot sauce is fantastic, and everything is always perfectly cooked. Sometimes the wings are quite small, but the folks there will always throw in a couple extra for you. I can polish off at least 10, by myself. Order 30 for two people. While the majority of the wings weren't as meaty as I would've preferred, they were still good. I can give this location 5 stars just on the customer service alone! My classmates were waiting on their order and I walked in to sit with them. I didn't order bcus I brought my lunch from home.
