Bald tire

I was a loyal customer and brought my truck here several times and spent thousands of dollars. Got my steering rack replaced on my truck here and D&R failed to align the front tires properly. Now the inside of my brand new tires are completely bald. I have to buy two brand new tires for the front and had to stop in the middle of a road trip to get my tires rotated so I could make it back to San Diego. They have also previously left a tool in my truck during a brake job that caused a rattling sound.

invoice for costs incurred.

It felt like a small shop that stays organized even when the job is big. He kept the facts straight, kept the items separated, and worked with us to keep it reasonable instead of trying to run the bill up.

"Return to Sender" (Loose Clamp Edition)…read more I brought my 2011 Scion xB--aka Elvis--into the shop because his dashboard was lighting up like Vegas: ABS, brake, and traction control. That was the first visit. I was told he was good to go, but the moment I drove off the lot, the same lights came back on. I turned around right away. On the second visit, they agreed the ABS was still their responsibility, and also recommended cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor. I agreed, hoping this would get my baby back to his smooth groove. After that service, I drove Elvis three times before he stalled in the middle of a major street. He just left the building--mid-traffic. I had to get help pushing him to the side of the road, leave him overnight with a note, and Uber home heartbroken. The next morning, I did what any determined rock-and-roll mechanic-in-training would do: I went to AutoZone for a scan, popped the hood--and guess what I found? A main intake hose clamp was left completely loose near the throttle body. One twist of a screwdriver and BAM--Elvis came back to life like a comeback tour in '68. No more stalling, no more sputtering, no more heartbreak hotel. Look, I get it. Mistakes happen. But this was my third visit, and I'd already been dismissed once. The breakdown, stress, and risk could've been avoided with just a simple final check. I won't be returning, but I do hope the shop tightens up--literally and figuratively. Double-check the work. Believe your customers. And don't leave Elvis stranded on the boulevard again. Taking Care of Business means making sure the King keeps rolling.
