I was referred by someone I just met, she said she has used Ann for years and has been happy, I had my first appointment with Ann today and it was wonderful, she did exactly what I was wanting, she was so easy to talk to, and they are very reasonably priced, I'm making this my new go to spot. read more

Got a wonderful gel manicure. Wonderful salon and Annie, the nail stylist, is great:)

Some of the women who work in this business are very sweet and do good work, others are not. I am not picky and tip great since I'm in the same type of business and I find it very unprofessional to toss a client around in between service providers without asking or warning. I already didn't like the person doing my nails to begin with but I don't much care for men stepping in to finish the job. I got a full of my acrylic nails with gel polish. Got no base coat and no top coat and they tried to say it was normal, but no one has ever not put topcoat on. If you want fast, decent service it's ok, but it's not a place I'm going to go back to again. read more

Got a pedicure. It was amazing. I will definitely be returning as a regular customer. They won me over with their excellent service.

Trish always does a fabulous job shaping my nails and is up for new trends. She brought this current look to my attention now that she gets my style. The shop recently replaced all the furniture and pedi bowls etc. Great consistant work for very reasonable prices! Book ahead or call same day. Sometimes they are all booked up and have to turn away folks so booking in advance is best. read more

I went in today for a pedicure. I went first thing in the morning just to beat the crow and heat from the sun. Well everything was going well, until I went to pay, not only did the lady tell me the price, here I was thinking it would be 30-40 bucks which is normal for me but I am warn of it before hand. Well it was 40 bucks which is fine, but the lady was expecting that for me to pay more in the tip, I said okay. Well she didn't like how much I tipped her, she tossed my receipt to me and walked away with a bratty attitude. I was a regular to this salon before today. I can't do my toes at home because I cut them to short too much and raw. So the salons I will go too. read more

I went in here for a pedicure last month I had my son he needed to use the restroom and he was in there 10 minutes and they were upset saying to go call him why was he taking so long in the restroom they seemed very bothered; went he came outside he could feel all of them staring at him so he went outside and waited for me, I have been getting pedicures all my life and in this particular visit I noticed my nail was thick after a week going but I thought hey added way more gel than usual until my son checked it out and I started cutting thinking it was the gel and nail polish thickness and no as y can see in the pictures it's fungi I have never experienced this before I cut the thickness halfway and I came to realize it's Infact my nail !! They just not have cleaned and sanitized the area but now I need to go to the Dr to get antibiotics so not go here DANGEROUS read more

Sorry but not so good work from David. Not even a week has passed and my gel manicure has already chipped. The nail polish went past my cuticle which is causing all my nails to chip from the bottom. I still tipped him but I do not recommend gel manicures from David. read more

poor service was told at the end they could not do what I asked for. i asked for an extra coat and they refused said it was my nail that was flimsy and they would have to charge another manicure for that read more

My go to nail spot! This spa is really clean and all the nail techs are professional. I have been coming here for many years and love the vibe. Very friendly and they get to know their clients personally. A true gem in our neighborhood. read more

I went to get a pedicure and as soon as I walked in I felt uncomfortable, staff saw me and laughed immediately all staring at me. I just minded my own business and didn't want to over think it...All I needed was a pedicure. A man named David did my pedicure... it looked ok . I walked home and hours later my toe nail was burning, I thought that maybe because my toe nails were cut super short. Long story short I got infected with fungus. They place was very dusty, unorganized and very dirty. This sucks I have never had fungus in my life. Thanks a lot. I should take my medication/ doctor bills to them. Makes me soo angry. Do not go to this place. read more

I really like this little family owned shop in Watsonville. I can typically get a walk in appointment for gel mani or pedi or fill. Everyone whom I have randomly got to do my nails has been very thorough with the tidy and trim aspect of my nails. I've never been cut or had them sand down too far on the nail bed. Today I called in the morning to get a same day appointment for a full acrylic set with nail art and they were very accommodating. I asked to be scheduled with anyone who did great nail art or who liked doing it. I got Trish. I showed her a photo and explained what I liked about it and she said we will do something similar. But she totally Nailed it (pun intended)! The acrylic is just on my natural nail so they are short per my request and the acrylic is so thin! Especially considering there is gel on top and a design. I don't think she baked my hands under the light more than necessary which I have had done in other shops. It's chill in there. You get the vibe that it's mostly regulars and not a lot of disgruntled workers. My new go to... love that it's in Watsonville. Also ample parking. read more

I was traveling and need to get a manicure. I called and made an appt for 3pm. I showed up for my appt and the girl working on me was so short with me and did not understand anything I asked her to do. She did a horrible job and I had to have her re paint 2 nails. Finally just left and by 9pm my nail polish was literally peeling off. I called and said I was going to stop in at 4 today for them to repaint. The head lady was rude blamed me for wrecking my nails and said she couldn't take me until 3pm tomorrow. Honestly, if there was another nail place near me I would just go and pay to have them painted again but there isn't so I have to go back tomorrow and deal with them read more

I drove here from Morgan Hill since my county hasn't reopened nail salons yet and I am highly disappointed! I went here based on a recommendation from a friend and boy do I regret not reading the reviews on yelp first!! Went there on a Friday for a gel manicure and a pedicure and the next day it had already chipped! Horrible just horrible so spend your money elsewhere! Also, they are not meeting new regulations for covid19 none of their seats are 6 ft apart and they don't care as long as they don't loose any customers! read more

I have been coming to D&L nails for over 15 years. Trish is so kind and does an amazing job on my nails. I highly recommend this nail shop.

My Mom & I have been going to this salon for years! My Mom always wants unusual color combinations, as she is a Diva & David always has done an "over the top" job with her nails. He is so artistic, & his work is flawless. Flower is my go to & she is so professional, prompt & knows exactly how to shape a nail, also the perfect thickness. All of the employees that work at D & L , are very friendly. The negative people that given bad reviews on this yelp site, are people that walk in -without an appt.! The D & L Nail gals & guys absolutely DO NOT DISCRIMINATE as there are all races & creeds that are regular customers. If I have ever had a nail chip because of my neglectful attention with my faux nails, they will take care of immediately. LOVE THIS PLACE ! read more

Love the service and friendly costumer services! Always able to fit me in and do great work!

D & L Nails Spa - Horrible job. I didn't notice my thumb until I was home or I would have said something. - Nail Salons Near Me - Freedom, California

I could have done a better job on my pedicure at home; I asked for rounded nails and they were butchered, not shaped at all. The nail polish was not even to the end of the nail. It was Memorial Day weekend and they were busy but it was so rushed and horrible quality. I asked for callas removal and it was done very poorly. Will not be returning, I don't like being ripped off. read more

LOVE this nail salon. It isn't fancy but they don't an amazing job. I have been going here off and on for years and the same employees have been there. They are pretty busy because of quality work and the owner will not hire just anyone. So I suggest making an appointment. They are also closed on Monday so the employees have that day off. These women and David are very hard working and go above and beyond to make sure my nails and toes are on point. Even though they are usually slammed they can sometimes make an exception and squeeze me in when I walk in. I recently got a new set of acrylic nails and wasn't able to get filled for almost a month, I had no breakage or lifting after a whole month! Flower is my favorite nail tech and she's really sweet & does precision yet fast work. I posted a pic of my current nails. I like square shaped nails but they do a good job with any shape also best pedicures & gel manis at a good price. I am so glad to have this salon close to home. read more

I've heard about this place before and how it was really good so I wanted to try it out. It was a 5 star experience. I was in need for a special event the next day so I walk in. Ok, this place was not the greatest. I got the normal manicure experience but she didn't file my nails so they are the same lengths and they are not straight. I have learned not to rate a nail salon until after 5 visits. I have been to going to D&L for months now and Trish does an excellent job every time. She is careful to make sure that the length and shape of my nails are even and she is never sloppy(nail polish on your skin) nor does she hurt you with the tools. She speaks good English,as do most of the people in the salon. She is also very good at nail art/designs. She is friendly, nice and reasonably priced. I feel completely comfortable relaxing while she does her job without having to watch for mistakes. The salon is simple and clean and plays nature videos on a big screen and top 40 type music. Depending on the day, especially weekends, it can be crowded BUT if you are a walk in they tell you that they don't have time and to come back, which is unlike other salons that make you wait and shuffle you back & forth between manicurists. They honor your appointment time. I give D&L a thumbs up! I moved to the Westside but will make the trip to Watsonville to get my nails done! read more

Went in at 5:45pm just do a gel manicure they said they had no time (they close at 7:00 pm )

7 months pregnant and I came here to get pampered. I chose to get both a French pedicure and a regular manicure. I chose two colors for the manicure, a regular polish and a glitter polish. The said she has to charge me more if I only wanted half of the nails painted . I told her then, that it I didn't want it. She still proceeded to do it, when I asked her not to. She has gone to talk to someone before she did that about the polish so I figured she wouldn't charge me for it, and that's why she proceeded to do it. To say the least, they made such a big deal about it when I tried to explain that there was no logic in being charged more for only asking to have half the nail painted vs the whole thing. She would actually have less work to do! Well after a terrible French pedicure that they had gotten upset because I asked for some of it to be fixed, she asked me to pay more. She told me that if I had a problem (with a terrible attitude) that I should talk to the manger. She gave me a business card, but the business card only has the locations number and no contact info for the manager. She took the money and slammed the bill on a the table where the lady taking the cash was and never even said thank uou. I seriously felt humiliated. Terrible service. Ladies name is Nancy. read more
