So I just read the response to my review. Seriously?? Here are the texts. SHE admits she needed to do a more thorough consult, then asks me when I can come in to fix it as we talked about after I paid her (which I responded). She then tells me she doesn't have her appointment book with her on the weekend (which ironically the original appointment was made on a weekend), then she stops responding. ONLY after the salon owner saw the Google review did she send me a text- on September 5. "I was told by the salon owner....." She says that the reason for not getting back to me were family issues. So which is it? Family issues or the client is the problem? Like I said, IT IS ONLY HAIR! No big deal. But treat people right and be honest! read more

I got my a lash fill done with the lady here because my regular person is out of town. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!! Instantly I noticed this lady wasn't separating my lashes to add a lash extension! It felt like she pushed them on with her finger and she put a tone of glue that all my lashes stuck together in clumps. THEY ALL CAME OFF IN CLUMPS ALONG WITH MY NATURAL LASHES. Bella salon has been my home for the past 10 years! My long time hairstylist being Sandra, I love her. She is the best hair color specialist at this location. Over all the entire staff is beyond welcoming and very friendly and passionate. I had a great experience with hairstylist, Michelle! I was searching for someone who could do a badass ombre/balayage for a reasonable price. Honestly, the one that I was planning to go to was charging a pricey fee + $75 hourly charge (Fee + $75 x estimated 4hrs = a crapload of $$$!!). And on top of that, he was booked for months! Thank goodness for my friend/coworker who came in to work with her beautiful hair color. I knew I had to take my chance and try her stylist! Michelle was so friendly, she made the 4hrs that I was there seem like nothing. She made sure I was comfortable and explained the color process step by step and made sure that was what I wanted. At the end, I was iffy on what to do with my bangs so she explained if I changed my mind later just to let her know. I'm so glad she said that since I was debating to myself about it while I drove home, looking at my bangs in the rearview. I text her and let her know my decision and I'll be going back in a few days to see her. I'm usually hesitant on doing something like that, but I had no problem with her. I knew she wanted me to be happy with her work. Also, the rest of the staff is very friendly - I'm already thinking of going in for a facial! Lexie is the best! She is my go to waxer. She is fast and thorough. She also uses great hard wax which is far less painful than strip wax. Her room is adorable and clean. I have been coming to Bellas Salon for a decade! I love my hairstylist which I want to keep confidential. She's the best and I love how she leaves my hair every time. I come to Bellas Salon to relax and to take the time to pamper myself since Im a working mother of 3. However I highly believe it's very unprofessional to let a hairstylist bring there kid to work. Not only is the little girl being unsupervised but she's very high energetic and running around the entire salon. That's ridiculous for the owner to even allow that. By law this can be an issue if it's reported. That little girl can cause or have an accident and have a worst circumstance. Just had a massage and facial special at Bella Salon with Angie and Lexi. They both are so friendly, and passionate about what they do - not to mention amazing at it! I scored by booking their February "Revive" special and got them as a package pair :) Their rooms are quiet and tranquil and you can drift off into bliss as they do their magic. I highly suggest booking an appointment with either of them (Angie for massage therapy and Lexi for facials/waxing etc.). You will not regret it... I am a stay at home mom and treated myself and the money was WELL worth it! Angie has also done my prenatal massages through all three of my pregnancies. She knows her stuff and made my pregnancies more enjoyable with her knowledge of healing. . . If momma aint happy, aint nobody happy. Lets just say we are all happy after I visit these girls!! Stylist Hilario is wonderful. He's always so flexible with my schedule and if I bring him a photo of what I want, he recreates the look perfectly. He really takes his time to go step-by-step and make sure I'm okay with his choices. He's also a really lovely person and a joy to talk to. He styles both men and women, which is great because my husband's hair grows in a very complicated pattern (straight on the sides, curly on the top) and Hilario is the only person I know who can give him a flattering cut! This is a review of the eyelash extension services offered by Michelle- not a review of the rest of the salon. Michelle actually seemed so proud of the fact that she was really fast at putting the eyelashes on (most places I've looked at say that the application process takes between an hour or two- Michelle was done within 15 minutes). Her speedy technique didn't make for good-looking eyelashes. One eye looked perfect; the other was clumped with black glue all over my lash line. I asked for the shortest lashes available for the most natural look- but with the black glue on one eye it looked like I had put on liquid eyeliner in a hurry and didn't clean up the smears. She tried to fix it but it never looked right. I called back about an hour later to see if she could fix them and she said to come in at 6:30. At 7:10 she still hadn't helped me. I understand that she was nice enough to squeeze me in but just give me an accurate time frame. The thing that annoyed me the most about the whole experience was Michelle's attitude. She never once apologized for the one messed up eye- instead she put the blame on me. She said the clumpy glue happened after I squinted (which only happened once when my eye really burned after getting glue in it). When I mentioned this she said in an annoyed manner that there was no way glue got in my eye because it would have hurt. Um, it did hurt. She also said that they looked great and that I was just being "overly hormonal and wanting things perfect because I'm pregnant". Who says that?? Seeing as one eye actually turned out okay, it's obvious that Michelle has potential but still needs a bit more practice when it comes to using black glue with the extensions. It would have looked a lot more flawless with clear glue. I think it was worth the price of the $50 groupon, but not a penny more. UPDATE 12 hours later: I'm changing this from 3 stars to 1 star. In the middle of the night all but 3 of the eyelash extensions fell off my "fixed" eye. I woke up to my one eye feeling a little uncomfortable and when I went in the bathroom I noticed that a bunch of the eyelashes were missing or hanging off strangely. She mentioned that this might happen since the second time she was going to use less glue. Awesome- now I have one perfect set of eyelashes and one eye with a 3 long lash strands. I can also now see why the "fixing process" hurt so bad. When she was removing the first set of lashes with tweezers she actually pulled out almost ALL of my natural lashes. read more

Purchased a 50$ groupon for lash extensions. Michelle was very nice as far as service so I gave her a big tip. However, when I got home I realized the quality of work done was very unprofessional considering she claims the extensions are 150$ value. The black glue looked like black clumps and the lashes on one eye were applied crooked. Worst of all, most of them fell off the next day even though I followed the care tips very carefully. The 50$ Groupon was a waste of money and I wish I wouldn't have tipped for the150$ value (20$). Big waste of money! read more

Firstly, when first entering this salon, the customer "service," already started off poorly. After waiting nearly fifteen minutes after my supposed appointment time for my lash extensions, not only was "Lisa," not very attentive to my needs, but her work station was highly unprofessional with a literal couch being my service station. Although this was my first time getting eyelash extensions, I didn't think it'd be so disappointing. Not only did she not even bother for my needs or expectations, when I took it upon myself to show her what I'd like, did she literally do the complete opposite & literally leave a mess upon my eyelids. Other than delivering being less than cooperative or delivering any general customer service to her client, when I expressed my disliking of the outcome of her "work," not only did she say I should, "give it a few days," which absurd, she then took it upon herself to say, "I still need to pay even if I don't like it." I, being in the beauty side of things (MUA) myself, have never delivered such poor, unprofessional service. I spent $70 to only soon after remove them with an ACTUAL eyelash expert at House of Brows (Kayla was her name, HIGHLY recommend to save your money from a disaster that is Bella Salon & just go ahead & go to HoB!). I truly am appalled that this supposed "Salon," was truly SO unprofessional & doesn't even care about their customers, but rather steal their money & deliver horrible service. People should be aware that this salon just wants to take your money & leave you unhappy! Michelle at Bella salon and spa is the best!! She's very professional and a great hair stylist! She's done my hair, my sisters hair, and knows what she is doing. It's been over a year and my sisters extensions are still in great shape, Michelle does quality work, I've also done my eyelash extensions with Michelle, and loved them! I see some comments about eyelashes falling off other customers, Michelle does her best to put them on... But once you leave the salon you need to take care of them. It's not her responsibility to take care of them after you leave the salon. And if they do fall or you mess them up, she gladly fixes them free of charge immediately. 0 star! For this person! I went to Lexi for Micro blading and I've never been so upset in my life! She did exactly what I didn't want and was sloppy and in a hurry! I told her exactly what I wanted and didn't want and I felt like she was using me as a Guinea pig! She made a huge out line of my eyebrows and she said they wouldn't be that thick and big and she literally used the outline as a coloring book because they ended up just like the outline! Then as she was plucking the hairs from my eyebrows she was plucking my skin and when I told her she was hurting me she said I reassure you I am not, when in fact she did and I have pictures to prove it!! Then I told her I didn't want big and boxy and that's exactly what she did and on top of that there are two different shapes two different lengths and she made a permanent floater hair that looks like I need to pluck! I went home and used sugar to scrub my freshly tattooed eyebrows to try and get the ink out and that was hell!!! Very unprofessional I wonder if she even has a license because I felt like I was being practiced on! Please save yourself the trauma and see an actual professional. read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE !!!!! I went in asking for light brown high lights with brown dye The younger girl applied the color and bleach on my hair she put me under the dryer for a very long time and it was supper hot. After about 30 she decided to leave the salon!!!!! She told me " I will be back, I have to go pick up my sister." She left me under the dryer for at least another 20-30min. When she came back she finally rinsed my hair then styled it. Next day I showered and my hair was completely shribbled and burnt and it all stuck together. My hair started falling off and it started at my scalp!!!!! I was so devastated and it was the day before my 21st bday !!!!! I went back and the girls mother was so surprised when she saw my hair and all the girl could do was tell me "oh yes unfortunately this happens." HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE! My mom told me she had purchased a groupon for Bella salon for eye lash extensions for the both of us and I can't lie... I was scared. I'm not big on extensions/fake tans/ect and have never done anything like that. When we walked in I got a great vibe from all the employees adored their leopard print decor. I also liked the products that they carried and had on display. We got there early and were greeted right away by a really pretty girl who just happened to be the one who did our lashes. She told us she could get started right away and gave us sheets with info and a waiver to sign. The waiver made me nervous but I still decided to give it a go. She saw me first and brought me to her station (which was beautiful). She had me sit in a position that was most comfortable for me and showed me different lash looks and gave me ideas on which ones I should choose for my first time. She put a nice pillow behind my head and started applying them, explaining what she was doing and why throughout the whole process, while simultaneously making pleasant small talk. I went from feeling so tense and scared to feeling so happy and relaxed. When I opened my eyes I was in love! The lashes looked great and natural (long) but natural. She then proceeded to do my moms and she had the same great experience. She redeemed our groupon with an iPad and then gave us sheets of paper with maintenance tips and no no's. The fills are only 10 bucks and can be done 2 weeks later. I woke up this morning with the lashes still beautiful and intact. My sister, best friend and I purchased Eyelash Extensions from Groupon. We were so excited about this and scheduled the appointment weeks in advance because we all have children and needed to make arrangements. The morning of the appointment with Lisa, we called to confirm only to find out that apparently she overbooked and couldn't see us. We were so disappointed because literally, our girls day of pampering was ruined. I understand that overbooking happens, but the response she gave us was that he had to go with her other clients first. She made us feel like our business didn't matter. There's a way to deliver a message to unhappy customers and provide customer service to clients that are upset. We didn't get that from Lisa. Lisa has no clue of the lengths we went thru to get the this day coordinated with women who work, juggle kids and a homelife. She was able to fit me in last minute and worked around my schedule perfectly.
