Hello everyone, today I want to tell you a story about getting my car painted at a Vietnamese auto repair shop in Dorchester called . and . auto repair (there are 2 branches 1 and 2. I'm really frustrated so I'm telling you so that everyone doesn't have the same situation as me. The situation is that my car has some scratches, I want to repaint it. When I met the owner, she quoted 1200 to repaint the scratches and said that she would polish the car and guarantee that all the scratches would disappear (there was a big scratch and a few small scratches and she said "don't worry, I'll do it cheaper for you so you can introduce customers to me, when I'm done, I guarantee that your car will have no scratches left, I'll make your car really beautiful for me to advertise) and she said I could bring the car in the next morning and pick it up that afternoon. And I was allowed to go to the office to do the paperwork, after I paid the 600 deposit (on the receipt it said "Paint around car"), they said there was no schedule for the next day, I could bring the car in on Friday morning and pick it up on Saturday afternoon 4 pm. Talking outside, it can be done immediately and finished in 1 day, but when starting to do the paperwork and pay the deposit, it will take 3 days to do it and it will be done in 2 days. Yes, I agreed because I didn't need the car urgently and didn't rush them. With the appointment written at 4 pm on Saturday, I could pick up the car. Everything was fine until 4:30 on Saturday, they texted to say the car would be available at 6:00, then around 5:30 they texted again and said the car would be available at 7:00. At exactly 7:00, I came to pick up the car, but they said 7:30. Finally, I received the car at 8:00. But it didn't end there. After receiving the car, the small scratches on the car were still there, and there were more small scratches around the car, and there were many, many small paint scratches that looked like there were many small stones hitting them. (My car is black and the scratches are white). After I talked to the shop owner, they said it happened before. then. they are not responsible (at first the conversation and the results were not completely consistent) they absolutely do not take responsibility for this matter. and the owner's child said "I am responsible for the paint, but I don't know about the other places, your car is an old car but you used a flashlight to shine on it and wanted to make it look like a new car (my car has about 24,000 miles, and it was almost 8:30 pm). while at first they said to fix all the scratches and make sure the car looks like new) when I got home, I just started to check the 24-hour dash cam that was installed by the car dealer. then I found out that during the time my car was at the repair shop, they used my car to do personal work.. to summarize my frustrating story, when I went to repaint my car, I did not bargain or bargain about time or money because I wanted my car to be done as well as possible. The price was given by the shop owner, the quality was stated by them and the time was also set by them. money was they took enough time to reschedule 3 times, but the quality is terrible. let me ask if anyone encounters the same situation as me, will they speak up or stay silent. everything I said has messages and pictures to prove it. read more

Joni got a flat tire in downtown Woburn tonight;, discovered it after work. Drove to Daily Gas and learned they work together with D&L Auto Service. Met Adonis first. Great guy! Very friendly. Smiles & conversation. From Ecuador and German too! Love it! Take good care of your leg and your ankle! Gabriel fixed my car. From Brasil. Love it! Smiles and good conversation. He found the tire hole. Was really small but the soap did the job in locating it!I I even learned how to say, "Good Day" in Portugese! There was another worker there with a firefighters shirt on and he was very nice as well. Was working on a red jeep inside the roll up door. Very detailed work and loving it! Called later on and spoke with Dan who appreciated my call and my compliments. Will love to meet John as well who's owner. For reference I went in for an inspection. While there were 3 people infront of me it was a quick 30 minute trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and informative, not to mention they didn't try and upsell me on anything (Even noticed them giving complementary services for small issues!) They immediately diagnosed issues and told me how to solve them, including where I could buy parts so I could fix the issues myself. They hide their fees. I live near enough that this place would have been convenient as my regular mechanic, but the one time I go, after he and I discussed the price I'd bring my car in for, the manager tells me an additional $45 cost he knew about as their policy that he never mentioned and doesn't comp for the false advertising. Now, this is the first mechanic I'll avoid in my area. read more

Not only was the inspection process prompt and informative about my car's needs, but Phuont and her team surprised me with buffing out some city-driving dings. Nothing bad to say about this place. I brought in my 2015 Infiniti Q50 to this shop because it was overheating, check engine and traction light was on. They diagnosed the car and called with the problem which I already knew what was wrong. I was going to get a rental because I thought it would take about a week to repair. Then I called 2 days later to see how long it would take and they had already fixed my car. They did it in 2 days! I was surprised that they finished so fast. Great diagnosis and fast service. I came here 10 minutes before they closed to ask if I could get a state inspection sticker. If they had been busy and told me no then that would have been no problem. DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! These guys are doing dishonest business. They will try to make more issues to your car to make money out of you. Brought my car here because the rear well was making noise. They told me the rear left wheel bearing is bad. So the owner told me that they can service for me or I can buy the part and they will charge the label fee to replace it. So I decided to replace both rear wheel bearings. Brought them the parts to replace. When I got the car back couple days later noticed the car was making squeaky noise and when I back up it also making noise. When back to the shop told the owner, he said the front brake is gone. Need to replace. I thought the original issue was the wheel bearing now he said the front brake are wear out that was making the squeaky noise. My car was making squeaky noise from the back when I brought to the shop. After I got it back after they checked it out making even more noise and they didn't fix the noise from the back when I back up my car. These guys are con artists. DON'T BRING YOUR TO THIS SHOP!!! Came back to the shop on 10/08/2019 asked about why the car was making noise. Since the original noise was from the back rear wheel bearing that was advised by the owner. But this time, he said that it the front right passenger brake that was making noise. He had his Asian Technique came, this guy was mad at me and came up to my face couple times trying to beat me up. If the owner wife didn't stop him. He would have punch me in the face. These people are gangster. He brought another Machanic out he took off the front passenger. I took a look at the brake. Brake was not wore out completely, but it was making noise. This time this Machanic said it has to do with the rotor were rusted. That was making the noise. I told them before I brought the car to the shop. The noise came from the back. After I got the car back only drive for the weekend. The car was making noise again. PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE. These guys are unprofessional and will treat you not as there customer but gangster style. During the complaint the wife of the owner also came out yelling and screaming at me. She said if I don't like the service here, GET OUT HER SHOP!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. Please don't bring headache and trouble to yourself like what I had to go through at this shop. Very dishonest and disrespectful people. read more

I was in a pinch to get my MA auto inspection completed prior to starting my new job and with a holiday approaching, as I just moved from out of state. D&L was recommended to me after I called a laundry list of companies I found on a google search (many of which actually didn't do auto inspections), and the person with whom I spoke at Hannibal's recommended D&L. I'm glad they did! Despite tomorrow being a holiday and their day closing shortly after I got there, they were incredibly helpful and speedy with the service. I didn't realize that I would need to pay in cash, but they pointed out an ATM down the street and held my place. My car was seen and inspection complete within 10 minutes. Claudio and Dave were very helpful! I would recommend this place if you need an inspection for sure. read more
