My date got the short rib pappardelle and loved his as well. We finished with the cheesecake, and this is where I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Amanda. She was incredible from start to finish -- attentive, sweet, charismatic, funny, and just genuinely made the whole experience that much better. When we ordered dessert, she told us she was going to find us an awesome, big piece of cheesecake and asked which drizzle we wanted -- raspberry, chocolate, or caramel. Naturally, I said, "Give me all the drizzle," and she immediately said, "You got it." When she came back, she told us she didn't think she was able to find us a big enough piece, so she was taking the dessert off the bill. Meanwhile, we were looking at the cheesecake thinking the portions were completely fine! It was such a sweet and unnecessary gesture, and the cheesecake itself was delicious. The Harrison already has great food and such a nice vibe, but Amanda really made the experience memorable. She's the main reason I wanted to go out of my way to leave a review. They would not accept a check or credit card, so I paid as requested. Unfortunately, during the event, the food ran out after serving only about 70 men and 60 women. Many of my guests did not receive any food. I immediately told Numan that there was not enough food. He left for about 25 minutes and then returned without any additional food. When I asked where the food was, he said he had called other restaurants but no one had any food available. I believe he actually went to his own restaurant, but regardless, he returned empty-handed. He then insisted there had been plenty of food, even though many of my guests had not been served. This experience was extremely disappointing and embarrassing, especially after paying $10,000 in advance. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Addye BBQ. I expected them to provide enough food for the number of guests we agreed upon and to take responsibility when there was a problem. Instead, I was left with many hungry guests and no solution.
