I've bought parts from U-Pull-&-Pay for years. They used to be the best place for used parts but…read morethe new ownership has ruined it. They made changes that only make everything harder for their customers. Couple examples... In the past, if you had a return, you could get that put onto a U-Pull-&-Pay card, like a gift card. You could then use the card to buy parts or for your entry fee. No more. Now they give you a paper receipt which you need to hang on to, and you can no longer use that receipt for your entry fee. As a customer it feels like UPAP knows we're likely to lose or destroy the receipt, so it's all about making money. Customer service, not so much. The other thing is they absolutely refuse to spend $100 on tire removal tools. I was there today and they don't even have a bead breaker anymore (I guess it wore out or it got broken). Now they have what's basically scrap metal that they expect me to remove tires with. So today I spent two hours searching for and removing wheels/tires, only to give up when I couldn't get the tires off the wheels. So I got dirty and beat up, and UPAP lost $50. So congratulations UPAP, or whatever international corporation owns it now. You know nothing about scrapping cars, and you lost a loyal customer.

It was pouring rain, so I was standing in the parking lot trying to take my coat off (it is closed at this time) they came out and started screaming at me that I had to leave, that they were closed. I was only in the parking lot, trying to remove my coat before getting in the car. Place is awful.

I called to double check that they could help me. They confirmed that they could. I arrived about 1-1.5 hrs before the store closed but was informed that the paint area was closed and I'd have to return on a different day. I was annoyed because why wouldn't they tell me this over the phone. Anyway, I just left and returned the next day. Upon returning, I was told that the paint person was busy and that it'd be a 10-15 minute wait before he could help me. I decided to wait. 30 MINUTES LATER, I inquired with the woman at the front desk about how much longer I'd have to wait. She said she'd go check. Finally, after another 10-15 minutes passed, a guy emerged from the back of the store stating that he had 7 more gallons to mix and then he could help me. NO!!! I told him I'd already been there for 30 minutes and just wanted one aerosol can of paint. I was then informed that the store was out of aerosol cans and apparently had been for at least a day. This means that when I called and went to the store the day before, THEY HAD NO AEROSOL CANS but no one bothered to tell me this!!! If they'd told me when I called, I wouldn't have made the trip to the store. If they'd told me when I went to the store the day before, I could have saved another trip. The employees don't really seem to care much about their jobs, about customer service, about anything. My time and effort to gain information was completely disregarded. The employee in charge of paint told me he could order aerosol cans and have my paint ready later on in the day but that I'd have to pay upfront and simply "trust" that he was going to do what he said. Unfortunately, at that point, I didn't really "trust" anyone in that store. I opted to find an alternative establishment to get my paint needs met. My experience was ridiculous. DO BETTER Smyth!!! I highly recommend going elsewhere for your automotive needs.

So here it is the 16 the 630 pm walked to oreilys closed again it's posted there open til 8 pm and that was updated by the store a week ago so now I have to go to a different parts store that agreed to give me a even lower price cause of my issue ridge store is no good it's prob one that gets the least sales I would assume I'll see what corporate has to say tomorrow morning I already left them message

Sorry, but I'm just not that girl…read more Christopher at O'Reilly Auto Parts made this visit soooo much more comfortable than I ever imagined this being. I was having a headlamp replaced down the street from this store and needed to go pick it up. I didn't know exactly what I needed (and I'm sure it was written all over my face) and he stepped right up to help me find exactly what I needed. He looked it up in the computer, called Midas to make sure I was getting the right thing, and even went and got it off the shelf for me! I couldn't have asked for better service. The store itself is a little worse for wear. The floors could use a good mopping, but I'm totally willing to overlook that because the service is great.

Last weekend I again returned to Advance Auto Parts for a much needed item. I have slowly been…read morelosing the valve caps on the tires of my Kia which I check the tire pressure on at least monthly. It always seems to happen the same way either screwing the cap off but mostly back on because of the limited access the hubcap allows me. This store is just down the street at the intersection of Spring Grove and Kenard Avenue so it is very easy to pull into and out of the parking lot. This is where I also bought the Turtle wax rubbing compound after the bumper of my car was scratched up last year. The associates are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I had to wait a few minutes to interact with them as they help other customers but it has been worth it. Their prices and the brand selections are reasonable. I found a set of gray valve caps here for $0.99 that perfectly matched my car. I recommend coming here for car parts & accessories big and small. I went into Advance to buy a small part for my car (nothing serious, something cosmetic) and not only was I not greeted, but the person attending the store that day rolled his eyes at me! Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Lazypants, is my presence here hindering you from all the nothing you're doing? Anyway, I found what I needed, but I had a question about it. I wanted to compare it to a different similar product. I didn't want to ask Mr. Lazypants, but since he was the only person in the store, I didn't have much choice. Bad idea. Not only was he incredibly rude and condescending, but he didn't even answer my quesion! He didn't have the basic knowledge to answer my question, and TRUST ME I am in no way, shape, or form an expert on cars. Duly noted, Advance Auto Parts! I'll never be back to this store or any other. Ever. Did I say that already?
