I came here on a rainy day with a friend and the view was incredible, even with the gloom! Would love to come back on a clear day. We ordered the halibut ceviche which was super refreshing. I had the walleye fish and chips - the battered was really well fried and thin, the fries were average, but I loved the tartar sauce. My friend had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken - she enjoyed it but it had a bit too much dressing. Service was good and prices are HIGH, you're definitely paying for the view.

I went to COV to celebrate my 21st birthday, and while the evening had some nice moments, overall it didn't quite live up to expectations. The service was just okay--not rude or anything, but not particularly warm or attentive either. It felt a little rushed, and for a special occasion, I was hoping for a bit more care. One thing that was disappointing: happy hour is only available at the bar, which wasn't made super clear when we were seated. We found out too late, and that definitely affected our experience. The food itself was decent, but the portion sizes felt small for the price. Everything looked nice, but for what I paid, I expected a little more in terms of quantity and overall value.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch and had an overall amazing experience! Service was great, we came and were seated immediately with no wait. I had the grain bowl and my boyfriend had the chicken piccata which we really enjoyed! However the artichoke is what really was the star, it surpassed both of our expectations so much! I really recommend people give it a try from the appetizer list. Everything inside is decorated very well and I love that you can look out on the lake while dining. My only suggestion is for them to make the grain bowl warm rather than cold, especially for the winger it would be better in my opinion! Plenty of free parking options available and it's a great upscale restaurant to swing by for lunch or dinner. Melissa was our server and she was great as well!

Food is amazing as always. I love those sushi. Service has never ever been a problem when I have gone. This cannot be changed but the train sometimes passes by and it gets extremely loud but that is out of their control. Other than that, this place is AMAZING. I love this location.

Cov has a great ambiance. I like the closeness to the water. The food is not memorable though. I have been many times, and I am always not excited by the food. Plus it is very $$$. I tried the burger and a sushi roll. Both were not worth the price tag as they were just average. Nothing to write home about. I appreciated that our waitress cut the burger in half for my friend and I who were splitting them!

Absolutely beautiful! I loved every single detail about this place from start to finish. Starting with beautiful outdoor seating with lake views and florals everywhere. The indoor decor also did not disappoint with more florals and lighting. We started with the calamari - it was amazing. We also had the lobster roll and clam chowder. This was the best lobster roll I have had, including those from Maine and Montauk. So flavorful and the roll was toasted to perfection. Clam chowder was also delicious. I would say this was the best meal of our trip to Minnesota!

Absolutely stunning restaurant. Upon entered the decor makes you feel you are on the water in a relaxing spa. But the restaurant is perfectly situated on the water and can see lake Wayzata perfectly. The menu was amazing and there's something for everyone! The waiter recommended the sushi and the turkey sandwich. I ended up going with the lobster roll because this place had me feeling I was on the east coast.

White Lotus was so good! The quiche was also good but the crust was a bit hard. Ambiance was superb like always.

Cov is an excellent spot to hang out with friends and loved ones! While we did need to wait about 25 minutes for a table, it was worth it! The hostesses were friendly and were friendly when I asked for an update after 20 minutes. Happy Hour was delicious! Our waitress was prompt and friendly. She took our order and the evening went by smoothly. The burger was juicy. The crab cakes not overly bready or gummy texture. Very nice crab texture and flavor! The prime rib sliders were my personal favorite of the 3 sliders tried. Great bite, flavor, heat, and the pickles are stellar! The chicken wings are good. The ribs are cooked well, but a little tight in texture to my personal liking. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and had a good amount of spice!

beautiful lake view, the patio is the best and the happy hour is my absolute favorite. They have delicious drinks and lots of food options, favorite is the oysters and flatbread. Love the friendly and attentive service.

I had the turkey cranberry sandwich, one of my favorites. We also had the smoked salmon appitizer is always spot on and could be enjoyed as a meal. The HH chicken strips are great, ask for buffalo sauce and some bleu cheese or add them to a the wedge salad. Service is always great, very attentive and accommodating. How can you beat a patio on a summer day in MN looking at the lake and enjoying a great lunch!

This was the best waffle I've had in a long time. I'd for sure go back for just that alone! The only thing I didn't quite like was the cheesy hash browns. It was a little too cheesy for me. That doesn't dock any points, tho, as that's just a me thing. What lost a star was my step mom's food. She got the French Dip Au Jus. I took a bite to try it, and it tasted okay to me but I asked her if they are supposed to be cold (it just came out) and she said no. She also said the meat was a bit too chewy and not quite right. I was okay with the meat, but I'm sure it would have been better if warm! The free pastry (I think that's what it was: free) was VERY sweet. I could only handle one bite! A bit tough as well but it was still nice that it came to the table. Oh and we sat next to a fire place which was really nice! My back enjoyed it.

Loved COV! Such a fun spot by the water, great atmosphere and view. We had the lobster fried rice and the Sandbridge and Galley specialty sushi rolls -- everything was fresh and delicious. Perfect place for good food and drinks by the lake!

The staff was also really helpful when it came to navigating gluten and dairy preferences, which I always appreciate. Good cocktail options and great presentation in nice glassware. The Parker House rolls were the clear table favorite, served with three different spreads that were all worth trying. The Brussels sprouts were divine and the beef tenderloin was good, though the portion felt a little small for the price. The short rib special was amazing, but they weren't able to substitute the potatoes for a gluten free option, which meant the dish came out incomplete at full cost. Our waitress was apologetic and lovely about it, but it's not a great touch for a restaurant that otherwise does a nice job acknowledging dietary needs. The Eloise sundae is an absolute must. Done tableside and completely phenomenal.

I've eaten here once before for a special event year prior and the food options were better in my opinion. The small plates got even smaller and more expensive. Not sure if the quality was better on things either. I was with 3 others and we all shared plates. chicken karaage was alright. I liked the crispiness was the sauce was nothing extravagant. Truffle Edamame - best thing I had! The only thing craveworthy that I had. Shrimp taco - smelled fishy but tasted better. I was able to split it into 2 since the shells are so small and the filling worked well in the 2 provided. Crispy rice with spicy tuna - this was fun to do but not as good as we were hoping. It was missing something. Shishito peppers- these were large and many had the seeds. Spicier due to this. Wagyu sushi tacos $24 for the tiny things and it looked like ground wagyu... felt like a cash grab. I didn't eat them but my crew ate 2 and didn't want to eat the last one. Chicken fried rice - good size and really gingery. Not my favorite but it was edible. Better value than other items. The sushi felt like Crave and they were teeny tiny. I didn't enjoy the fishiness so I was one and done. (I normally love seafood) Dessert- we split 2.. the churros and the tres leches. The churros needed some sweetness in the mixture as they were bland. I was hoping for a really good churro and these were just ok. The tres leches wasn't traditional and they should change the name to avoid confusion. They have a better happy hour if you sit at the bar. Our server was able to order us some fries. Despite not being in the bar area. Overall, I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here. The drinks and happy hour, maybe. The cocktail menu was very nice and I tried a few of my friends drinks.

The Chicken & Waffles are exactly what you would want from a sweet and savory dish and then some. The waffle had a surprisingly sweet flavor that doesn't get buried among the maple-black pepper gravy, which is to die for. The Apple Cinnamon Pancakes are sweet- but not nauseatingly so with the perfect texture. The restaurant itself has an upscale vibe with a lot of natural light right off the lake. Even with tall ceilings and an open floor plan, I noticed several areas that would allow for a more intimate dining experience. This restaurant opened in January 2025 and glad I came across it online! Fiore - 8.7/10 3 of us ordered this drink and it was very good, simple gin-based drink. The drops of herb-infused EVOO on the top was a nice touch and a refreshing cocktail. Lablabi - 8.1/10 None of us had tried a dish like this before. Fun combo of burrata, chick peas, harissa paste, and croutons. It really worked well together and is apparently a staple dish in Tunisia. Caesar salad - 7/10 Very light, good parmesan, lemony, I would have liked more toppings but given how creamy many of the other dishes were, perhaps a lighter start to the meal was good. :) Banh mi pizza - 9.2/10 This was their pizza of the day. It was so tasty with slow roasted pork, cucumber, and a delicious curst. Excited to come back another time and try their hot honey pepperoni. Pappardelle alla lisa - 8/10 Having ordered pappardelle a few times recently, I'm finding it's not my favorite noodle because it's more floppy and less chewy because of how wide and thin it is. Regardless, still a good dish, the meat sauce was a little more muted in flavor than I expected, maybe the nuttiness of the grana padano contributed to a different flavor profile. Cavatelli - 9.5/10 This was the best dish of the night and surprised us all! How could butternut squash be so good. However, this was like the best, creamiest mac and cheese. Such a satisfying texture, the boursin sauce was incredible. This is one of those rare special dishes I will remember and come back for some day. Lasagna - 9/10 Really good white lasagna, creamy sauce, with a mushroom-forward flavor. It's nice having a thinner two-layer lasagna. Chicken Parm - 8.9/10 So different than everything else on the menu! Incredibly crispy deep fried chicken with some good spices from chili crisp. Felt like eating ribs because they were served on a skewer. Spaghetti - 7.9/10 Savory olive oil and butter sauce, well prepared dish with zucchini, lighter than the other pasta dishes. Budino/Lemon meringue - 8.4/10 Excellent custard/pudding and mix of flavors Cannolis French silk - 8.2/10 I don't typically go for cannolis because of the ricotta filling but these were very good.
