Emerald Point won our business because they have the most flexible service and pricing. For $190 a month, our boat lives in dry stack storage, and we simply call the marina and let them know we will use the boat, and they put it in the water for us. It's like a boat valet! I feel so important! Another great service is their on site mechanic. Again, all I have to do is call and say, "Hey can you do this to the boat" or "Can you do that to the boat" and they call the marina, the marina gets the boat to the shop, then they put it away, and I am ready to go! If I want to work on the boat, they will put the boat on a work station for me. It is really sweet. Plus, we get 10% off at Carlos and Charlies and the at the boat shop. Not too shabby.

The parking lot is opposite to the boating office and it's a short walk from the lot. There's a long staircase to go down to the marina to get into the boat. The instructions before getting on and driving the boat were clear. We had a great time on the pontoon this weekend. You can usually give them a call if you need to extend the time and if there's no other bookings after yours, they are usually happy to oblige.

(They have a policy if you cancel, they will give you credit in the future, but I'm not planning on being back.) I called on the morning I wanted to go and they had boats available and could accommodate. I arrived and the staff were all polite and helpful. Cooper K took care of coordinating my rental and was fair, professional, and went over the "rules" with me in a polite yet thorough manner. The other team members did as he directed to get the boat ready and ensure easy launch. The boat was in great condition, well maintained, and was very comfortable for guest and handled well for me (captain). A couple of recommendations for VIP - 1) use 150' lines on anchors vs 100'; and 2) rent the "lilly pad" floats. Buying for $375+ isn't practical if the customer is from out of town. I recommend the business and I am not affiliated with it. The staff did not know I write reviews.

Cafe Bleu next door has probably some of the best food on the lake. We really enjoyed our time here and the only downsides were when the water was low which it has been consistently for a while now. The ramp gets too steep to board the marina and it gets really tight departing the marina when you take your boat out. I don't blame the marina for this. Poor lake water management is not their fault so I will ding them for it. The price was one of the highest on the lake but I found out that you get what you pay for. I hope the new rental fleet does not degrade the the experience for marina residents as I have seen elsewhere. Good marinas are in short supply, this is one of them. We rented from Lakeway Marina for the first time on August 9, 2025, and had an excellent…read moreexperience. The staff thoroughly explained how to operate the boat, anchor, and navigate the lake, which is why we chose to return for Fourth of July weekend. Unfortunately, the difference in service was night and day. At check-in, despite having reserved and paid months in advance, we were asked not only for our reservation confirmation but also for my fiancé's bank transaction to prove payment because of the marina's history of fraudulent reservations. As returning customers, being asked to provide our personal banking information to verify a reservation was both unnecessary and wildly unprofessional. Once on the lake, we had difficulty anchoring and called for assistance. We followed the instructions we were given, but the anchor detached completely from the rope. We returned to the marina and were charged for a replacement anchor. Later, when it was time to leave, the replacement anchor became stuck. Even after two nearby boaters swam over to help, we could not retrieve it. We called the marina again, asked for troubleshooting, and requested someone come assist us. We were told no. We had no choice but to return without the anchor and were charged for both anchors and a late fee--even though the delay resulted from equipment issues and the marina declined to assist us on the water. What disappointed me most wasn't the charges--it was the lack of customer service. As renters with limited boating experience, we relied on the marina's guidance and assistance when problems arose. Instead, we were left to figure it out ourselves and then billed for the outcome. I emailed management in an effort to resolve the matter privately before posting a review and never received a response. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Lakeway Marina and will be taking my business elsewhere.
