I spent a year dragging my heavy gym bag to and from the gym everyday before I found CycleBar...no more heavy gym bag for me! I never loved cycling but a running injury pushed me to try it. I took intro classes at a few studios, but Cyclebar was the best experience for me and I felt motivated to keep going even after I recovered from my injury. All the instructors I've had are great and have their own unique styles - I love Maryanne and Gil especially. I've been going to cycle bad for a bit now and I love love love this place!! I've been to multiple different cycling studios and this one has been the best. The staff is so so welcoming to new riders and very encouraging to help you accomplish your goals! There's also very nice amenities, lockers, nice clean restrooms, and they provide cycling shoes for free. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a new year's resolution, I highly recommend trying your first class, you will be hooked! *My only complaint is that I wish there were more classes in the afternoon/early evening! I truly have loved every class I took her at the CycleBar in Fresno. All of the instructors provide motivation, and always offer help without embarrassment. Any employee has been helpful when I have a question, and everything is always kept clean! I would definatly suggest this if you want a unique workout with great music as well! If you have ever wanted to try cycling, definitely tryout out CycleBar! The studio itself is super modern and sleek with access to lockers with a charging outlet, cycling shoes are provided in half sizes as well as towels and bars for arm exercises. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and they even provide some toiletries (the face wash and hair ties are a life saver). I have taken cycling class at my gym but had not tried out exclusively cycle based studios and I highly recommend! All of the instructors are super welcoming and helpful, just let them know if you are new or unfamiliar with the bikes (i.e. seat and handle adjustments). The class is very adjustable to your own pace and comfort and the playlists are always great. Since I try to go once a week or every other week I do wish there were more themed rides (i.e. I attended a Love and Hip-Hop which was great). Similarly it does get crowded when everyone is trying to access the lockers and use the seats to put on their shoes so I recommend coming in a bit earlier to avoid that. read more

Cyclebar is an awesome, fun cardio workout! I really enjoy the fitness concept of this studio. My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here to get our sweat on. This is the type of workout that really gets you sweating quick. I usually between 400-500 calories in 45 min. Not only is this a cardio workout, but you also use a bar weight towards the end of class simultaneously riding the bike to tone muscles and I can often feel the burn when doing this! I have tried several of the instructors and all have been energetic and keep you motivated. The instructors play good music that gets you pumped and many of them say inspiring words during class which I really like. So you leave the class not only with a great workout but also a piece of positivity. I also really like how there's a scoreboard in the class you can participate in that tracks your progress. I think it's very motivating and helps me push myself during class. Some of the classes do races and those can be fun because they get you to challenge yourself. I have been coming here on and off for a year, and I will continue to incorporate this workout in my fitness regimen! read more
