The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and never intimidating. I can take my time with my workouts without feeling rushed, surrounded by aggressive gym-bros, or having to wait forever for a machine. The location is also super convenient, right by the freeway and close to plenty of stores, so I can easily run errands before or after my workout. The gym is always incredibly clean and hygienic. Unlike other gyms that just smell like bleach, you can tell this space is genuinely and frequently deep cleaned. I also love following the owner on Instagram. She is so helpful, encouraging, and genuinely cares about understanding your goals and helping customize your fitness journey. I did the trial session with a friend on a Friday at 5pm and it was full class but not excessive. My guess is about 40 people in a large room. First you do about 5 min of active stretching and some cardio like running in place or butt kicks, arm swings, etc. Then they go right into explaining the stations. Then they set up several stations/exercises with about 6 people at each station. You work out at your own level, push yourself as hard as you want to. They do come around and check for help. Great session overall within 45 min. I didn't see any wipes to wipe equipment down and that is my pet peeve when people don't wipe down equipment. I get a little weird since you do sweat in the classes. The equipment is in great shape and nothing looked tattered. Just bring your own wipes. The water machine is outside of the main workout room so you have make sure you have plenty of water with you. Otherwise you don't have time in between the transitions to get more. People put their drinks, bags, etc all around the edges of the room so sometimes you have to navigate around that if they aren't paying attention to where they are placing things. They have several areas where you can workout with weights like in a small gym setting in a different room and a cryotherapy chamber. The bathrooms are clean and overall it was a clean space. Just not the weights and main area.

They open super early I think 5am and everyone from the owner to the trainers to the members are very friendly and helpful . I joined a gym twice and never went as I was very self conscious about going . This gym, all it took was one visit and I was hooked . You can go in, be under the radar do your stuff and get out or you can ask for help, small talk get to know people, whatever is you. I'm over 60, male, and in 6 months my strength, balance and endurance has made big improvements. No juice bar, coffee counter here . This is a place to improve yourself not kill time and lurch on people . If one in one is what you need, male and female trainers of varied ages and body types are available for a very fair price .

William comes up in a lot of reviews and for good reason. knowledgeable, encouraging without being pushy, and clearly invested in the people who train here. that kind of community doesn't happen by accident. I've been going for several months and the thought of going back to a Planet Fitness or LA Fitness genuinely doesn't appeal to me anymore. After moving closer to the Nees location, we started coming here regularly and were honestly shocked by the difference. Compared to the other locations, this one feels neglected. Especially during the summer, it is so uncomfortably hot inside. With temperatures being 105+ degrees lately, the A/C should absolutely be running, fans should be going, and it should not feel as muggy and stuffy as it does. The other locations don't feel this way at all. On top of that, there are times it smells unpleasant and overall just looks like it's not cleaned or maintained to the same standard. I have noticed a cleaning crew more recently, which is appreciated, but for a private gym (especially one that has won "Best Fitness Center" four years in a row) I expected much better, particularly when the other locations are so nice and well-kept. This Nees location doesn't even compare. That being said, there are definitely positives. I love the equipment selection, it's never overcrowded, and the trainers/staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I just wish this location received the same level of care as the others because it has so much potential.
