I've been going to Cyclebar for a few years now. I started cycling at the location in Weston but they closed down last year so I started going to Davie. I love the energy, music, and empowerment that comes with high intensity cardio! On my spare time I like to boost my stamina by running at least 5 miles on the elliptical three days a week. I also like to end my workouts in the dry sauna to increase my stamina, muscle recovery, and just more advised benefits for athletes and health in general. I do have a con when it comes to cyclebar Davie and trying to become a cycling instructor for one of these companies in general if you're a BIPOC, young, and attractive. My experience will be different than someone else's so I'm only speaking on my experience. I trained for so long to become a cycling instructor. I attended different instructors classes, I stayed after class for more tips, guidance, and overall to become better. But the support was not there except for one very nice instructor named Krystal at CycleBar Davie! She was the sweetest and the only one who actually took me seriously. I networked with a lot of instructors, kept in touch, showed my progress over social media, took their classes yet nothing moved me forward in getting the chance to audition. Finally, I decided that this was just not the company for me. I'm still continuing my health and fitness journey. So I would say if you want to enjoy a ride then cyclebar is pretty great. But if you ever want to improve, advance, level up and become like the instructors that you admire.... Well it's difficult depending on your race (in my opinion).

I've been on the hunt to try new workouts on my fitness journey. A coworker of mine told me about CycleBar and how much she loved their classes. After reading up on classes I was intrigued how the incorporated music in their classes while focusing on strength, endurance, challenges and drills. I was hesitant at first because I haven't done a full workout but I figured that I had to start somewhere. The day of my class I pumped myself up for class and headed to the studio. Once I reached I mustered up the strength to go inside I was greeted by a couple of ladies at the front desk. After I told them it was my first class they bombarded me with questions and it just didn't seem genuine to me at all. I like how they provide cycling shoes for you. People in the class noticed me and introduced themselves, which I liked. A few people told me that the first class is always the hardest but don't let it get the best of me. I put my things in the free locker that was provided and head into class. The studio was dimly lit and I could hear upbeat music playing. I sat in my assigned seat and went for it. Now this class was very hard and it's definitely me since I haven't worked out regularly in a while. I stopped a few times but the instructor Meghan was very motivational and positive. Her roads really did push me to go a little harder but she also let me know that it's ok to go at my own pace and not to be hard on myself. The music is a big help too because it really gets you going in class. I was so proud of myself for not stopping completely and walking out of class. Getting my things out of the lockers and returning my cycling shoes was a breeze. When I was getting ready to leave the two ladies at the front desk immediately asked which membership I would sign up for, they didn't even ask how my first class was or show any concern. It came off as a sales pitch and wasn't a good feeling at all. I want to be a part of a studio that cares about me as a member and not just signing me up for a membership to make money.

I had the opportunity to visit the CycleBar Davie location while in Miami. It was my cousins first ride. The location had plenty of parking in the lot. There are electric car chargers located near the entrance and a traderjoes a couple stores down. Upon arrival there were a couple staff members in the front. We checked in easily and proceeded to the back to the lockers. The shoes were marking with American shoes sizes and had half sizes available. Our names were written on the lockers as a welcome to the studio. The studio inside is a great large space and the bikes are spaced out. The audio was loud and you could still hear the instructor. We needed support setting up the bike and staff were super helpful and patient. The bikes appear to be outdated when compared to the manhattan locations and a little stiffer. There were no towels made available on the bike, I did not see them until after class. The class was being led by Gabby. She had a great mix of music and really made us work. I enjoyed her class and energy. We finished the class with a cool down and a group breath. Leaving the room there was a line for the bathroom. There were only two stalls. There was one room with a shower. Not sure what products were the shampoo and body wash they were in an unlabeled device. We did have to wait for a while to use the bathroom. My cousin enjoyed the class and the motivation and affirmation provided during the ride by the instructor. She plans on returning.

BE AWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! WOW! I can't believe I'm not the only one, review the other comments. On July 25th my wife and decided to sign up with CycleBar to exercise and feel healthier. I signed up for 4 classes per month and my wife signed up for 8 classes. The fine lining of the contract was that to cancel the membership 30 days in advance in order to avoid recurring charges. After trying it out for couple of sessions we realized that our work schedules doesn't work with the offered class times and we could only barely use the class sessions we were being charged for. I called the CycleBar Davie early August and told them we would want to cancel our membership, she told me we need to sign a cancellation request form. Despite our hectic schedule we managed to go in and sign the paper request form on August 28th which was 3 days short of 30 days period. I thought since I already called and spoke to them about the cancellation they wouldn't be trying to charge my account (guess what I was WRONG). Despite my 12 hours shifts at the hospital, I tried calling them on multiple occasions to ensure that we don't get charged, but I only got their voicemail and no one ever responded. I changed my credit card information, but that didn't stop them. Just look at how many times they tried to charge us. I kept calling and texting, but no one would answer until I finally reached the club manager. She said it's their billing department and its out of their hand. I managed to call and speak with their billing department and they hung up on me, very rude and unprofessional. We were planning to just get ride packages that we could use at our convenience, but seeing what a shady business they are running I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN step into any CycleBar! This has caused so much stress in my life that made me write this review. Joining a fitness club should help you build physical strength at the same time make you relax mentally and this was definitely NOT the experience we got. BW AWARE PEOPLE!

11/28/2016- Think of a Spa meets a Club all while Spinning. I will always say YES when someone invites me to workout. I'm that person! So, when Dana M. told me about an Intro Ride Trial Class at the new CycleBar in Davie, I said "Where do I sign up?" Well, pretty easy, sign up online, and reserve your bike. You can also reserve cycle shoes. They will email you a confirmation. Easy enough! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and the younf lasy took me to the 3 IPads where I could sign in. All you do is look for your name (alphabetical), then if you forget your bike number, there is another IPad where you can look up that information. The number on the bike is important because that is your locker number. There you can get your shoes. (I brought my own) After you sign in, you are guided into the "spa" area. It's their get ready, lounge place. Beautiful white lockers and couches. There is some treats like a pumpkin bar. You can also get a CycleBar Red water container that you can fill in with cold water or room temperature. The coolest thing is that they have ear plugs, bobby pins and ties for your hair. They have thought of everything!!! So far, so good! The instructor comes out and she is full of energy!. She asks that we come in. The room had over 40 bikes. I got to my bike #33. The young ladies that work there are very helpful. They came by and helped me with my bike and to clip on my shoes. The class is now pretty full and Laurel, our instructor is hyping up the room. Music starts and we go! Our names are up on the board so you can see where you are compared to everyone. Then you can also work as a team. The bike is great, you can see the RPM's and the gears. So, when Laurel says go to 6, give me 85 RPM, you can easily follow. It's a great experience and an amazing workout! There are no memberships, the price packages are online. Basically if you want one ride is $25. If you add more, the price per ride is cheaper.

CycleBar Davie - 5 stars without a doubt. My entire experience was so easy going and the entire staff was always very kind and respectful to EVERYONE! My friend and I have always wanted to try once of these types of cycling establishments and when we found out that this one offers a free first class we were thrilled. We reserved our free reservation online where we also reserved our bikes. Following this, the sweet woman working the front desk gave me a call and informed me about the classes and that they will provide shoes and a towel and that all we needed to bring was ourselves plus a bottle of water. She also informed me to arrive 15-20 minutes early so that my friend and I could receive a tour of the cycle bar and also to set up our bikes. So my friend and I did just that, we arrived early and became familiar with the joint. We got our locker and headed into the room full of bikes! Our instructor, Keri, helped us get our bikes ready for the class. The next 50 minutes was INTENSE lol. It wasn't impossible and theres always room to dial down the intensity so don't let that intimidate you. I will say that I burned an extensive amount of calories though!!! It just so happens that my friend and I's first time was the instructors one year anniversary at CycleBar and as a cycle instructor. It made the class just that much more since our instructor was celebrating such an amazing milestone. At the end of our morning class the rest of the staff came in with a cake for Keri to celebrate. It was very cute and you can feel the love between staff members. Following my amazing class with Keri, the staff reached out to me to see how my class was and if I would be coming back for more cycle sessions. My answer: HECK YES!!! You guys are awesome, see you again soon!!! *Don't even question it, try something new and TAKE A CLASS!!!

Just finished my first class with Krystal. All I can say is amazing. I was really nervous and she reassured me I would do fine. The class was challenging and gave me a great workout. In the end Ms. Krystal was very encouraging and reminded on how great I did for the first try. She is the best and this is only my first class looking forward to more classes!! read more

This is my favorite place over the past year to do cardio.. I was a long distance runner until I blew out my ACL and PCL on my left knee.. very clean, friendly and a family atmosphere.. each ride is different, but my favorite instructor is Courtney, she teaches the hour long performance class on Thursdays and Sundays... each instructor is awesome in their own unique way and when my knee does finally go under the knife.. this will for sure still be part of my daily routine read more

Love this place! I used to go twice a week but opted for Orangetheory because it's a bit cheaper. But CycleBar is amazing and such a good workout. I used to go to Laura's class and I highly recommend going to hers if you go to any classes. The first one is free which is nice if you wanna check it out before committing. They also had a new member discount for the first 3 classes so it's not a huge payment if you're still feelin things out. The facility is beautiful inside. It's so clean and well decorated. They have you check in at the tablets where you can also pick up your bike shoes. They've got hair ties, bobby pins, water (room temp and cold options) , bananas, and a few other things laid out in case you need it and the bathrooms are also super clean and stocked with toiletries and things. They even have nice water bottles in case you forget one which you can keep for free. The bikes are really nice and the trainers talk you through everything before if you need help setting up your bike and understanding the cues during the session. They're super energetic and motivating. I love that they have themed classes too. Like Wine Down Wednesday where you get a glass after the class, Brunch where you get a mimosa, and they'll do themed music classes where they play music videos. Hard to describe all the great things!! There's so many. If I could afford it, I would definitely have stayed but it was just too expensive. I will say you get what you pay for, this isn't a cheapo studio so I do really recommend it to those who can do it! read more

Got a groupon for this location and I loved it, surprisingly it was easy to redeem unlike a lot of places they had a full system for it! I was so excited to see they had an offer on groupon. I wasn't able to take advantage of the free week they offered when they opened, Cyclebar is like a spinning studio with a spa feeling. They are located in the Tower Shops in Davie next to Trader Joes. Parking is fairly easy there. You must register online and then you can sign up for your classes and pick your spot in class. They do offer the first class for free. I arrived at the studio with my girlfriend we are greeted by friendly receptionist that told us what to do. You sign in on an iPad and then you get your shoes they do provide shoes for you. Then you go into the locker room . You can put your personal items in a locker and lock it up. They have three bathrooms and a shower room. They provide towels and soap and shampoo. They also give you a water bottle and have plenty of water on hand. If you need a hair tie or pins they have that as well. I have only taken four classes and all were with Jose. He's very energetic with great music he pushes the class. Since this is my first spinning class in a long time I needed to take it easy but still got an excellent workout. They have a board on the wall keeping everyone's stats. If you are competitive you will like this. Me personally find it very distracting because you are always looking to see where you are at in the class. They do email you your results. The studio has around 50 bikes in the room very close together which should be more spread apart. The four times I was there they only had less then 10 people on two times and less then 20 on the other two times. My daughter went with me one time and she loved it said it was like Fly Wheel in New York. Since she lives there she thinks this a New York type of studio. The prices are pretty high for this area and they do offer some packages. My friend got a good package and when I wanted to buy it they said they didn't offer it anymore. I'll be waiting for some new specials to come around. Happy spinning everyone!! read more

When i moved down from New York a year and a half ago, I was a newbie at Spinning but definitely wanted to continue exploring and learning about this high calorie burning low impact exercise. When i heard this studio was opening up , nearby where I live, i felt i had to check it out. I started attending when they first opened around Thanksgiving of 2016 and i fell in love with the classes and AMAZING instructors within that first week of attending back-to-back classes with different instructors. They each have their own styles and really motivate you during class. My personal favorites are Laura and Krystal. I love their personalities, energy and their music selections. I have invited friends here to try their first class free and they returned on their own afterward. This is a clean, well-kept studio with talented and professional spin instructors, and friendly staff. Two thumbs up! read more

Best cycle class EVER!!! Will definitely be back. By the time you walk in you are greeted by friendly smiling faces. The whole staff is nice, friendly and helpful. My favorite is wine down Wednesday's with LAURA!!! She is so motivational and her music is ALWAYS on point. You will get the best work out! Never in my life have I heard of any sort of gym canceling a class for lack of instructor. Came today for my free trial at 9:30 on a Sunday only to be told at 9:33 that class was canceled because the instructor had a "family emergency" by one of the employees. The other employee slipped up and mentioned the woman wasn't answering her phone and they had no idea what happened when she apologized. All of the employees seemed really nice but why are there 3 of you here on a Sunday at 9 am and not one of you can lead a spin class? For the price of these classes there is no way I would chance this again. I work out regularly and regularly take classes at gyms and have literally never had this happen before. Seemed like a really nice and clean facility and the free water bottles and fruit is a nice touch. Hopefully they can figure out a back up plan so they don't have to cancel on people like this again. read more

Buyer beware!!! I tried this terrible place last August and they have been ripping me off ever since!! I'm calling better business or any other organization that can help shut this place down for robbing people. When I first tried them out I specifically told them I DID NOT want a reoccurring payment to be withdrawn from my account. (I was only trying them out, so I paid for 1 month) or so I thought. The first time I noticed payments being withdrawn from my account and the amount of $69 was in December 2021. I called CYCLEBAR and explained that this was never supposed to happen I only tried the class ONE TIME! She assured me that I would be taken off this payment schedule (I never recovered the lost funds). Now, in May of 2022 I just noticed another payment to CycleBar taken out of my account causing my car payment to bounce!! I am livid. The only way that looser place can make money is by robbing people. It's not cool at all. I feel obligated to warn everyone to NEVER GO THERE AND ESPECIALLY NEVER GIVE THAT PLACE YOUR CARD OR BANK INFORMATION. The owner must think it's ok to take advantage of people just to stay in business!! Shameful read more

What a great place and experience! I have been looking forward the Cycle Bar opening and giving it a try. When they opened up their complimentary classes for two weeks, I signed up right away. I have lacked motivation working out and I havent taken a spinning class in years. So as a newbie, I was a little intimidated going in but that faded quickly. The staff is so friendly, welcoming you as you come in. You sign in on the Ipad and your shoes are waiting in your cubby -the number corresponds with the bike you select when you sign up for the class. You pick a locker to store your personal belongings, set your lock code and close it up. If you need reminding, there is a wall to write your your name and locker number on. There are also complimentary water bottles that you can fill with cold or room temperature water and snacks like fruit and granola bars. I have taken two classes so far and both instructers (Laura and Ariana)were great. Each energetic and each having thier own style. There is a diverse mix of people of all ages and skill levels. If you have never taken a spin class before do not hesitate to take a class at the Cycle Bar, you can modify your pace, tension etc to your own level. I was fifth to last place on the board but it is quite a motivator to make you push yourself past your comfort level. I took my classes two days in a row so the second day was much harder, mainly due to the sit spots being sore from that tiny seat the day before lol I mean everything hurts!! I hear that eventually goes away. It was totally worth waking up early on my days off to take a 6:30am class. Do this for you, you will feel great. Take advantage of the specials they have going on right now, its a great gift to yourself. read more

I'm so happy I found this place! After spinning throughout college, I didn't think I'd ever find anything comparable until now. CycleBar goes above and beyond all expectations. Extremely clean studio and facilities. I love that I can shower in house and should I happen to forget any toiletries, CycleBar has them readily available. So I came from Miami to try the CycleBar in Davie and I must say I am beyond livid at the instructor. Her name was LAURA. Fist off I was 5 minutes late, that's understandable being that I came all the way from aventura. Anyways as I start peddling and getting situated the instructor LAURA says in front of the whole class. " sorry I'm confused as to why people are late". This is in front of 50 people and being that I was the only one late I know it was geared toward me in a condescending way. At this point she already ruined the entire workout for me but I continue the class. Honestly she was super off the beat and ( I've been to many spinning classes) she just wasn't together and she blamed the late person for her terrible instructional skills. Fast forward to the end of the class as and she makes a huge broadcast saying" I don't get how the new people are late" and you shouldn't do it again"! I'm sorry wtffff? This is supposed to be an instructor and make you feel comfortable in the setting that you are in!! Anyways out of all the CycleBar in the broward area this one by far is the worst and I will never go there again!! read more

I would have liked to give CycleBar 5 stars but it is management that lowered the score. Let me start by saying the classes are amazing - Laura is unbelievable! The facility is immaculate and very accommodating. The classes are fun and you definitely get an amazing workout. So what is the problem? CycleBar is a franchised business meaning every owner can operate as they please! With that CycleBar Weston always has incredible deals all the time BUT I live closer to the Davie location which happens to be surrounded within a mile of multiple colleges and schools. So when Weston offered a teacher discount, I asked for Davie to match (it was a $50 a month difference for unlimited). The owner at Davie refused and seemed pretty comfortable with me switching to Weston instead. To be fair, he did offer $15 dollars off instead of $50. So me and 3 friends are now driving 20min to Weston instead of 3 minutes from my house. Then twice they charged me after cancelling which was addressed quickly thank goodness. So overall, the Davie is amazing IF you $ is not an issue for you. read more

Coming from a fitness background I wasn't sure if this would be challenging enough for me, but it does the job which is keep my metabolism in cruise control for up to 48 hours after a workout. The sessions are a mix of cardio (treadmill) workouts combined with weight room exercises using body bands, dumbbells and body weight. The mission is to KEEP IT MOVING for the entire class without any break or pause. The instructors keep talking to you throughout the hour and tell you how you're moving along the treadmill and when to move over to the next station. There are a couple items to 'point out'. The price is little steep but in South Florida I believe that if you want to go somewhere for a workout and NOT have to wait for a machine as well as get a full hour without disturbance, OT is for you instead of those gyms that are packed to the brim and you would have to hope and pray that a station is available. At OT, you get in and you get out after an hour and you've burned about 300-500 calories per workout. Next is choosing your class. If you want to go every Wednesday at 6pm, make sure to schedule your spot by either calling or booking it on the app. I recommend that you don't miss your scheduled class as this would cancel your session and they won't roll it over (you lose that class) They will make a first time exception but it's part of their policy. And lastly, they offer you wear these heart rate monitor watches and you can actually SEE your Heart rate throughout the class on a tv screen. This is a great tool for you to track your heart rate and to stay consistent during the workout. I thought this was a GREAT perk, except that the watch is NOT included in your membership, only given for the free sessions. You would have to purchase it separately or use your own to track your progress. OT comes in very handy for me with my current lifestyle. With my very high demand job and long hours, having a class to get in and get out works perfect for me. Hopefully I can squeeze an extra class in the future. Until then, I'm ROCKING out once a week at OT.

At the time, I was still early in my fitness journey and felt pressured to make a commitment that I was not comfortable making. The membership cost was $109 per month. A few hours after signing up, I returned to the gym and spoke directly with a front desk employee and informed her that I no longer wanted the membership and wanted to cancel it. I also returned the Fitbit/device that had been provided to me. Because I wanted to make certain that the cancellation was properly completed, I specifically asked the employee several times whether there was anything else I needed to do to cancel the membership other than notifying her in person. I was explicitly assured that I was "good to go" and that no further action was necessary. After reviewing my financial records I discovered that Orangetheory continued charging me $109 per month since March 2025 despite my cancelation in person and being assured that no further action was required. These charges continued without my authorization I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the gym and have made several attempts to speak with the owner, but I have been unable to reach her or obtain a satisfactory resolution. I am requesting a full refund of all membership charges made after February 27, 2025, when I personally requested cancellation and was assured that the cancellation had been completed. I can provide supporting documentation, including financial records showing the charges, evidence of my attempts to resolve the matter, and any other documentation requested by the agency.

This Company is rigged to give a false advatage to women. Many of these women also give false information about their body weight which is placed into Cycle Bar's Computer Program, connected to the assinged spin bikes. These two factors together are multiple by the the computer to make the often time overwieght, out of shap women look Like EXTREMELY STRONG CYCLIST. I spent nearly 20 years racing road race bikes, and over those years, NOT ONE WOMEN ever beat me when I was working hard. Due to the False Advantage given to women, I worked VERY HARD on the Bike assigned to me, and everytime I was beaten by out of shape women, who in the Real World could have never cycled with me. I can still make a road race bicycle make 30 MPH and more. These women who have outcycled me there could NEVER DO THIS! Becuase Cycle Bar POSTS IN FRONT OF EVERONE THE RESULTS, I DISSLIKE THIS COMPANY FOR GIVING FALSE RESULTS TO ME, AND ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THEIR CYCLING CLASSES; However, because of the False Advantange given to women they feel like great cycling phenons, which is a complete lie. Given Somone False Information making them believe they are more than they are is as damaging; but is also why I refusing to cycle there, due to the missguided company policy, which may actually be a criminal act because they are posting the results, with not public disclaimer that ALL WOMEN are giving a False Advantage over all Men. read more

I really enjoy spinning here!…read more If you've seen my Yelp activity and food photos, you would agree with me that exercise is very important! I've been enjoying Spinning lately, and this is definitely one of my most favorite places to get my sweat on! Upon walking in, you'll notice that this isn't like your average, bigger "chain" spin studio. This place is a boutique-like, small place with an intimate feeling. They have a "lounge" type of area with seating, coffee, and you can even purchase pre-made food from their huge cooler. The bikes here allow you the option to either clip into the peddles with your spins shoes, or to strap in to the peddles with your regular sneakers. They do not have shoes for you to use, so make sure you wear good shoes if you do not have spin shoes. They do provide a towel if you don't bring your own! The spin room itself has about 25-30 bikes. They are Schwin bikes with above average comfortability for your butt! This is very important! Haha I must say, if you're looking for an awesome ass-whoopin' ... BROOKE is your girl! This woman is amazing. Her class is exciting, fun, high-paced, high energy, and just everything you want in a spin class! This gym offers a unique variety of things that you can't find at your regular box gyms. You can take Kickboxing, Sanshou, Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Bootcamp. They offer classes for both kids and adults 7 days a week. From the time you walk in to the time you leave, they really do take the extra time to focus on you. Your needs, your goals, your weaknesses, your strengths. Always encouraging you and always there to call you out if you need it, and trust me sometimes I did. Walking into John Wai, you feel warm and welcome. It reminds me of Cheers "Where every body knows your name, and they are always glad you came". Not only do they offer a gym where you can really reach those goals that you want, they offer more, they offer an amazing community, a family. Walking into a new gym is often scary and you always run into these cliques, but this place is the only place I have never ever experienced that. From the owner down to the newest member everyone is happy, helpful, and friendly. Tucked away in the back of a tiny plaza in the middle of Plantation, this place really is a diamond in the rough. I joined this club expecting a premium experience, especially at more than $300 per month…read more Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. The gym is consistently overcrowded, equipment is often unavailable, and parking can be extremely frustrating. For a club charging this much every month, I expected far better access, convenience, and overall value. One of the main reasons I joined was specifically to become part of a tennis community. Unfortunately, that has probably been the most disappointing part of my experience. The members running the so-called tennis groups have, in my experience, been unwelcoming and at times outright rude. Instead of feeling like a club that encourages members to connect, play, and build a community, the tennis side seems far more focused on lessons, coaching, and bringing in additional paying students. That was especially disappointing because at this price point, members should feel like they are actually part of a club -- not simply another source of revenue. At $300+ per month, I simply do not believe the experience justifies the cost. I have dealt with overcrowding, difficulty using equipment, parking issues, an unwelcoming tennis environment, and what feels like a constant emphasis on finding additional ways to charge members. I joined hoping to find a premium gym and a strong tennis community. Instead, I am leaving feeling that the club is far more focused on maximizing revenue than creating a positive experience for its members. I will be canceling my membership.

I was very nervous and I made sure Christina was aware of my true beginner status! She took great care of me. I made it through the tough but fun hour and am so happy that I gave it a try! I'll be going back as soon as I can book another class! The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, and most of all, I got a great workout. Loved it and highly recommend! Updating my first review- I've been going consistently for about 6 weeks. I am seeing amazing results. I'm stronger, look much better, and have the strength and energy to get though and enjoy the classes now. I'm a believer! Its the best workout/place I've ever tried.

The actual decor is very cool and the inside has UV light that makes everything look neon. The classes themselves are good, but very fast paced. They don't really give you enough time to switch or to grab weights. I like that there are reminders projected on the wall for what you need to do. It's also very dark in there which is I think is dangerous because someone could easily trip over something and hurt themselves.

They are more interested in you signing a waiver than explaining their weird split bootcamp/crossfit class. The trainer was like a sad substitute teacher. I give this place a few months before shuttering. Major changes needed in class dynamic and instructor choices. Avoid at all costs (even when it's free).

Training Pit has done a great job at creating a tiered "Walk, Crawl, Run" program through their boot camp and CrossFit programs and is a perfect option for those considering CrossFit for the first time. I think there's probably room for improvement, but I'm not the professional and if I wanted to workout using my own program I'd go back to Equinox. The only thing I don't like here is the parking situation, but I'm not sure how that can get fixed. I trust the program and I "trust the process" at this gym.

I submitted a request for a first class through their website and Karina called me very shortly thereafter to try to setup my first class. They also followed up through text, and I promptly setup my first class for later in the week. They also followed up with me the day of to ensure I would be making it or if I needed to reschedule. I really loved how customer focused they were and was a great sign to me how much the business prioritizes customer service. For your first class, you have to start with a Kickboxing 101 class, which is essential. Karina shows you around the studio, talks about the format of the class to come, and provides a brief overview of some standard punches and kicks. I have done a few boxing classes before and I still found the Kickboxing 101 class very helpful as a recap reminder session and the classes they have at Intensity X3 are handcrafted so it's good to see how they have their classes formatted before you get started. During my last class, Catt also introduced herself to me as one of the leaders and checked on my form a few times throughout class and I've had a few amazing classes with both Markus and Karina who put on amazing classes, great coaches and really were very explanatory in their demos and pushed me and the other class members to really push us to our limits. The studio, coaches and the entire class format are quite amazing and I'm looking forward to continuing my classes at Intensity X3!
