Well well well.......V Cycle.... This review is about to…read moretake you on a roller coaster ride of feelings...A whirlwind of emotions if you will...So let's begin... It all started on a quiet Sunday Morning...fresh from church and ready to take on the day I headed to V Cycle looking for a little sweat that would make me feel ok about the delicious brunch I would devour in a few hours. But little did I know Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee conceived a child and turn them into a cycle instructor. I mean Wow.........Don't get me wrong I've been kicked by a wild donkey in the teeth once before but it was after a reckles st. Pattys day weekend...not a spin class. I mean the instructor Paula was insane.....And I mean that in the most amazing slash "my legs are dead" way. Let me explain... So when I got there Paula immediately set me up with a bike even though I got there a bit late. Point for professionalism. Next she jumped back on her bike and rode away and pushed us to the limit. Not like a kindergarten sock hop, no i mean like really pushed us. Think General Paula during Dessert Storm. But here's the awesome thing, right after she pushed us she then talked to each rider individually to help! Even gave me a towel when I was tongue out rolly eyed! She was great! Next the venue. Clean and sheik. Think classy meets space ship. This place was brand spanking new Finally the workout. After i was done with Paula's class, not only did I want to sign up for more of her classes but I also felt a part of the group. She was so inclusive and friendly. It healed my wounds from cursing her name while she was killing my legs. All in good work out fun she's the sweetest! Overall, if you're looking for a cool, fun place to work out where you're not going to get judged but you're also not going to sit on your ass. THIS is the place. You will sprinkle holy water on Paula when she's training you begging for mercy but you will then make Paula your life and spin coach after because she rocks! Enjoy the studio and god have mercy on your legs. Disclaimer: "breaking it down low" dance moves after this class will only break your hips you'll be so sore. Hurt so gooooooood sore. 100% worth it. Enjoy the class. 5 Stars

I love V Cycle. I recently discovered them thanks to my sister. I've been to two of their 30-min…read moreclasses and a few virtual ones. They are amazing! I love everyone in the class and the instructors are Great. They made an effort to reach out before and after the class, and they set the bike up for me before my first class to make sure i was comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

CycleBar waterside is amazing! Here's everything I know from the past month training with them:…read more FOR BEGINNERS: I've been doing spin for about six years. If I could tell beginners one thing it is that you cannot have an ego going in. The instructors will give you a quick run down on how they teach, and always encourage you to modify where you need to. I am a bigger human who is out of shape at the moment, and I've not once felt out of place in this class. I'm pretty sensitive to instructors who talk about calories, "earning food", etc. and not a single instructor at waterside has given me those vibes. INSTRUCTORS: I haven't yet taken all of the instructors, but here's what I know so far! Keenan - I don't want to tell you how good Keenan's Tuesday connect class is because I don't want to have trouble booking in, but this class is high energy, fast paced, and incredibly fun. His class is good for people who want a challenge and lots of choreography. If you get bored easily, Keenan's class does not stop. ANY class can be taken by a beginner, but if you're new to spin I wouldn't start here. Bre - Bre's classes make me feel more connected to myself than any other class. If you love motivation and connection, Bre is your girl. I leave every class feeling happier. Her class is good for all experience levels and I think specifically great for trying to level up. There are so many moments where I've pushed myself to the next level with Bre. She knows how to get you there. Joni - Joni's classes are hard and fun. If you want to work on your technique and choreography I'd say Joni's class is for you. I'd say her classes vary in difficulty level, but it's never the same thing twice. I would say Joni's class is great for beginners because she is super helpful. She is uplifting and always has a smile on her face. Alana - Alana's classes are great if you love to be out of the saddle and not do as much choreo. I've only had the opportunity to take one class with Alana, but it was a great time. I think Alana's class would be best for beginners. I've taken team teach rides with Tyler and Alex, which just means I know much less about their teaching styles but here is what I learned: Tyler - Tyler gives you the opportunity to push yourself to the next level. She is super encouraging Alex - Alex is tough love and not in the way that makes you cringe. He wants you to push to your next level and is super encouraging as he gets you there.

This is probably my favorite studio in the metroplex... I am SO thankful they are on classpass!…read more I usually come to TruFusion when I need a serious detox (ie, the day after I ate pizza, lol). I take the hot classes... the hot boot camp is not for the faint of heart but my goodness I feel incredible after I sweat in that class! My favorite class, though, is hot barre. I prefer to do more strength exercises in the heat than cardio, and hot barre does it for me. You get such an incredible sweat and feel like a million bucks afterward. First class is free so definitely, definitely give them a shot. Can't wait to go back!!

I decided to try something new and saw this location has a bootcamp class, so Registered for it. The location is BEAUTIFUL! very upscale, modern, cool, clean! Top notch for sure. The class was packed! We were instructed to get different equipment. The instructor was excited, energetic, and motivating! The music was good, and loud. My issue with everything was that it was a "sweat" Class so the temperature was at 92, cool, I'm ok with that, i take plenty of bikram/hot yoga classes. But what i found myself doing was using my smaller weights to do the exercise to prevent me from passing out. Lol. I wanted to use heavy weights but couldn't. There were a few times where i was like " Yeah, you are about to pass out". The other issue i had was, because it was so hot, i was sweating hardcore, that it made it hard to even lift the weights because it became slippery. I was trying really hard to keep them in my hands but they slipped out many times. I understand that the heat is for cardiovascular health, which was fine. Overall, i don't think i got a good workout for me personally. I decreased my weight usage and felt like I was sweating from the heat not from the actual exercise. I will stick to running at white rock lake and lifting weights at my home gym.
