CycleBar waterside is amazing! Here's everything I know from the past month training with them: FOR BEGINNERS: I've been doing spin for about six years. If I could tell beginners one thing it is that you cannot have an ego going in. The instructors will give you a quick run down on how they teach, and always encourage you to modify where you need to. I am a bigger human who is out of shape at the moment, and I've not once felt out of place in this class. I'm pretty sensitive to instructors who talk about calories, "earning food", etc. and not a single instructor at waterside has given me those vibes. INSTRUCTORS: I haven't yet taken all of the instructors, but here's what I know so far! Keenan - I don't want to tell you how good Keenan's Tuesday connect class is because I don't want to have trouble booking in, but this class is high energy, fast paced, and incredibly fun. His class is good for people who want a challenge and lots of choreography. If you get bored easily, Keenan's class does not stop. ANY class can be taken by a beginner, but if you're new to spin I wouldn't start here. Bre - Bre's classes make me feel more connected to myself than any other class. If you love motivation and connection, Bre is your girl. I leave every class feeling happier. Her class is good for all experience levels and I think specifically great for trying to level up. There are so many moments where I've pushed myself to the next level with Bre. She knows how to get you there. Joni - Joni's classes are hard and fun. If you want to work on your technique and choreography I'd say Joni's class is for you. I'd say her classes vary in difficulty level, but it's never the same thing twice. I would say Joni's class is great for beginners because she is super helpful. She is uplifting and always has a smile on her face. Alana - Alana's classes are great if you love to be out of the saddle and not do as much choreo. I've only had the opportunity to take one class with Alana, but it was a great time. I think Alana's class would be best for beginners. I've taken team teach rides with Tyler and Alex, which just means I know much less about their teaching styles but here is what I learned: Tyler - Tyler gives you the opportunity to push yourself to the next level. She is super encouraging Alex - Alex is tough love and not in the way that makes you cringe. He wants you to push to your next level and is super encouraging as he gets you there. read more

CYCLEBAR - Cycling Classes Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Keenan is the BEST! He's energy and motivation is contagious. There are several instructors and all have their own way of teaching/techniques. Most classes are super easy and beginner level in terms of cycling so it's a great place to start if you never taken indoor cycling before. Keenan's class is a bit more for challenging and for experienced riders and his choreo is great. Always a good workout. So there's something for everyone here. read more

Super fun!!! Struggle with cardio but the instructor was so considerate and checked on me multiple times during the class. 100% will return!! read more

I go back. They're so nice. The front desk employee could tell i was new. Waited for me to put my shoes on. Walked me to my bike and adjusted it for me. I was scared and nervous since it's been 2years since I worked out. So she said she'll stay in the front for a little bit and to wave her down if i need anything. read more

Cycle bar is a super fun place! Adrien, Tina, and Jessica were all super helpful and supportive! Adrien checked me in and gave me a nice tour. Jessica helped me set my friend up who also would like to come. Tina was a great instructor! She helped me set my bike as well as showed me how to get my scores on the app. She is very motivating and played good music! If you have done spinning before or are new to it this is a great place either way! You can borrow shoes if you don't have your own and a towel is already provided as well :) read more

What else could you ask for here? Great staff, good instructor and great beats to match your workout. It feels like having your personal dj while you are working out. They provide you with shoes, towels and water (cold and room temp.) they have showers and changing rooms too with high end products if you forget to bring yours. It's now so close to where I live which means I don't have anymore excuse for not spinning. Come spin with me! read more

Customer service at its finest. I am a first time indoor cycle rookie so to say , but from the first day I walked into cyclebar I felt welcomed. Avery and Lauren have been awesome from setting me up an account, to my first ride - to even helping me along the way showing me how to adjust my bike for proper use. I've taken two classes one with glenn and tiina, the instructors really keep your attention , with a great music play list. The venue is very clean - for first time riders they offer a reusable water bottles and have a water bar. Every class is equipped with a towel during , and a cold wet one after which is refreshing. The proper shoes are also available for you. I would definitely recommend cyclebar. Thanks guys for being great!!!! read more

I joined CycleBar as soon as they reopened after the COVID shutdown and I immediately fell in love! The staff is very helpful and friendly and the workouts are fun and exhilarating! Each instructor brings their own taste and personality into the classes and they are all great! Their COVID protocols have exceeded expectations of most exercise facilities and I feel safe every time I go! read more

I am not a cycling enthusiast, it's been a while since I did intense cardio and I'm a morning person. I liked the class and I liked it more than I thought I would. I took advantage of the "Bring Your Friend" month they are having in January right now and got my first ride for free when I went with my sister. We did a 9am class with two other friends that lasted 50 minutes. I say the time because they do have endurance classes that are much longer. The sign in process was fairly quick for me, I registered when I arrived and the receptionist credited me the class immediately and gave me my riding shoes. For those newbies like myself, they do provide special riding shoes that clip into the bikes. Super convenient so you don't have to lug around workout shoes if you're coming in after work. It's nice that they provide lockers for everyone that have a code so you don't have to bring your own lock. There is no locker room per se. It's an open space with lockers, a few benches and refreshments that is co-ed. There are separate private bathrooms and shower areas of course. The refreshments include ice water, room temperature water (my fave!), bananas and apples. Grab a banana after the workout and thank me later. The class was intense and good. I love that the bikes have their own devices and metrics that are compared against the entire class. Nothing like good ole competition to motivate you into doing better and pushing yourself harder. The instructor didn't keep the stats up on the screen the entire time which I imagine was purposeful and I think a good idea. Will come again. read more

I tried out a free ride. Spin class will remind you just how out of shape you are. Thanks, Cyclebar! Ha. I went in knowing really nothing about it. Thinking it was just like a regular stationary bike that you see at 24 hour fitness. I didn't expect to be doing all kind of moves on it. 50 minutes of non stop biking. About 2 minutes in my thighs was burning. 3 minutes and I'm ready to sit down. I look over and Marianne is booking it! The girl in front of me is sitting down.. hey I'll sit down too. While you get some relief, you gotta get back up soon because you got your tail bone and pelvis all numb from the not so comfortable seat. Like other reviews, they provide you with shoes, water, and towels. One thing I like is that you can't just up and leave like you can at the gym. 10 minutes at the gym, I'm ready to go home. They close the door here and you got the music going with the instructor, so you want to keep going. Think I'll buy a package. Lots of benefits to spinning. read more

This was my first experience with spinning. It was amazing. Our instructor Liv was fabulous and I really felt like I'd accomplished what I set out to do-burn calories and increase my cardiovascular fitness. I will definitely return. Who would have thought working out could be so fun! read more

This is a wonderful indoor cycle studio in Fort Worth! All are welcomed and treated like family. If you are intimidated by fitness classes and working out in front of other people but want to give spinning a try, this studio might just be for you! The customer service at this location is excellent and the CycleStars (trainers) are all friendly, motivating, and have awesome energy. read more

I am not a cycling enthusiast, but once you experience the ride, you can't stop coming. In every class I've been to, the employees make their rounds and make sure everyone has set their bikes up correctly, are clipped in, and comfortable before the class starts. The trainers are great, motivating, and fun! You can opt in to see your statistics on their screens that are in the class-- makes the ride a bit more competitive. They have GREAT themed music rides-- Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift etc. I get so lost in the music during my ride that I forget I'm working out. Check it out! read more

Loved this studio!!! Helpful & friendly staff, very clean & free water bottles and filtered water was a nice touch. The bathrooms and showers were clean & very well stocked. Glenn the instructor was so inspiring and the workout was definitely challenging and motivating! When I'm in the area again...I'll definitely be back here! read more

CycleBar Waterside is an amazing place to get a structured 50 minute leg and upper-body workout. The "Bar" part includes upper body weight training which provides a nice break in-between spinning blocks. Instructors are fun and engaging while also encouraging of you to work at your best potential. The instructors also like to mix it up with themed rides (music videos, specific artists, performance rides, etc), which make it even more fun. Best part is, they are all on the schedule, so you know exactly what you are signing up for! The workout bikes are top of the line, the room is dark and cool for the workout with fans spinning as well. The music is loud (but don't worry, they have ear plugs if you like it a little quieter). They have you covered for everything you need: cycle shoes, workout towels, water/water-bottles, fruit and snacks, fully stocked shower facilities with towels, deodorant, soap, shampoo, etc. They even have chilled eucalyptus towels ready for you after each ride to help you cool off! CycleBar Waterside has basically eliminated any excuse you may have for not going to workout! Definitely check it out, and the first ride is always free! read more

First time st a cycling class and I had a blast! Definitely an intense workout, but so much fun. The instructor was very attentive and informative about the flow of the class and I loved the playlist of course. I most definitely worked up a sweat, but survived the class without feeling overwhelmed. Complimentary water and towels are provided to all cyclist and when you go for the first time, they provide you with all the information and shoes you need to complete the class. Lockers are available to lock up your belongings and there are restrooms and showers if you need them. Your first ride is free and then more information is provided for subsequent rides if you decide you want to come back. The staff is very friendly and my transition into this new form of exercise was great. You have to make an appt to ride so definitely visit the site and schedule your free ride! You will not be disappointed! read more

CYCLEBAR - Let's get cycling! - Cycling Classes Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

I was visiting family in Fort Worth a couple of weeks ago and decided to drop in to CycleBar for my first class. I cycle regularly at my local spin studio in Phoenix, AZ and I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The instructor was positive and upbeat and the technology is such a fun touch - plus I think it made me work a little bit harder! My only recommendation would be to crank the music up a little bit louder: I don't like to hear myself breathing so heavily! ;) Studio was bright, clean and functional. Will return next time I'm in the area! P.S. there's a Whole Foods basically next door, so stopped by for a convenient post-spin smoothie. read more

I love this place! Jessica, the front desk manager, is so engaging and genuinely kind. Actually, all the staff members are friendly, helpful, encouraging, and welcoming. The studio is ALWAYS clean and the staff wipes down the bikes with disinfectant after the riders' use (as opposed to leaving that task for the riders to do half-assed.) I participated in a spin class several years ago at Bally Total Fitness (yeah, I just dated myself) and I must say, the spin experience I've been having at CycleBar is totally different from spin classes at Bally Total Fitness. The spin bike technology is fantastic and so advanced! I'm not a workout fanatic by any means, but I enjoy the music, the intense workout, the motivating instructors, and the atmosphere so much that I've gone every single day since Day 1. Okay, okay, Day 1 was only four days ago, but for me to look forward to exercising every single day is a miracle. If you're thinking about giving CycleBar a spin (pun intended), stop thinking about it and just do it. Your body and mind will thank you! Waterside CycleBar has a 30-minute FREE ride on Sundays, and I HIGHLY recommend it because it is a condensed version of what the regular classes are like. And if you're outta shape as hell like me, you will appreciate being finished in 30 minutes. read more

Coming from someone who is not a huge span of spin, I LOVE this studio! CB Waterside hosted a group of 20 of us to do a heart-pumping, choreographed sweat sesh and every one of us thought it was so much fun -- some of us were even trying spin for the first time! Highly recommend if you are every interested in jumping into a great workout! read more

May be a bit pricy but if you use it as a treat workout so worth it! Get the new rider package! I go once a week. Plus they provide water bottle, shoes, chapstick, hand sanitizer, all the stuff to take a shower and a 700 calorie burn! read more

Love love this place! Great 45 min work out, great coaches, music and amazing work out. Try this place out, everyone there treats you so good and you become family to the Cycle bar. Totally worth it! read more

Definitely not the same experience as Zynn 22. First was the fact that their shoes only came in half sizes, so for someone who was a 7, I either had to wear too large or cramped toes. Then the ride did leave me dead, but very boring compared to Zynn. The music was not as up beat, the instructor didn't motivate, no dancing, no enthusiastic whooping or high fiving, and the bikes were too close to reaching so you couldn't fully do the moves; it just was not the same. I won't be going back. read more

Another spin studio for Fort Worth...I remember when you had to drive to Dallas or maybe the mid cities to take a cycle class in this style. I have actually been to the Cycle Bar in Southlake and the staff there are so friendly. This studio is located in the new waterside development that currently houses a few restaurants, REI, Whole Foods and a few others. You can cycle it up and then go eat lunch at the whole foods salad bar. My ideal cycle class is Soul Cycle- I feel like the intensity is there- close second would be Zyn22. While Cycle Bar is similar, I find the emphasis on riding to the beat, as a group etc less focused on. Perhaps it varies by instructor? For me it's more fun to ride on beat with the music, as a group, with your own ideal resistance and I don't get that here. I will continue to try different instructors and also the VS rides where they have artist against artist. Perhaps those are more choreographed. read more

Took Glenn's class today and it was hands down one of the best classes I've ever taken. I just moved to Fort Worth from LA and I'm really picky about spin classes. The last one I took in Fort Worth while visiting was awful but I passed by CycleBar and thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did. Glenn's energy and music was amazing. Also, the facility is modern, clean and the staff is super helpful and nice. read more

Cyclebar waterside is an amazing cycle studio. I have been to others in Fort Worth, and none compare to Cyclebar waterside. It starts with the super friendly staff and instructors whether you are a first timer to working out or a seasoned cyclist they make you feel welcomed and challenged. I have yet to try an instructor who didn't make the class so much fun you forget your working out. Each instructor has their own style, and different music which makes it exciting every time you go. As for the facility it's self, it's clean, they provide you clean towels, cold water, waterbottles, lockers and shoes. The bathrooms are also well stocked with anything you need from shower towels, deodorant, face wash and even hair ties! Another perk that sets cyclebar apart is that the bikes log your activity, you can choose to see your stats on the leaderboard, and you can always try a little harder to beat your last stats! They email you them at the end of the ride with the song list for the class you can listen to on Spotify. They think of everything. They even have fun themed rides, like happy hour and brunch, and faith rides! But really the biggest factor that puts Cyclebar waterside above Zyn22 and 24 hour fitness... are the instructors and the owner. They make the place welcoming, inclusive, and energizing! I highly recommend trying cyclebar waterside whatever your fitness level, you won't be disappointed . read more
