Replaced mountain bike tires - they said the ones on the bike were dry rotted but I had no problems with them. They replaced mine with wider tread that runs on my fenders and the owner, Teddy, said they test rode it and said there were no issues-that they could cut off the molding tips -basically disregarded my concerns. I took my e-bike to get a back tire replaced, said I wanted to spend around 100$ owner said it would be around that maybe 120$. he had to order the tire so he had the bike for a few days. I called because I had been having issues with the breaks so figured I would replace the break pads. told me he would only do it if I paid for a tune up. I asked what I was at price wise he said 140$ and with tune up with break pads would be 270$ total... I declined and told him to proceed with only the tire replacement. the bike originally came with a 20x4.0 fat tire. I noticed they had put a smaller tire 20x3.5, when I pointed this out he said the bigger tire was touching the fender guard.... I replied that I had done 1500 miles with the 20x4.0 and never had an issue.... and proceeded to make me feel like it was my fault that he had put a tire on that was smaller than the original. not wanting to deal with him anymore I promptly paid 155$ for a back tire replacement and left. my speedometer didn't work any more and the chain tension was slack. im amazed this place is still in business, only reason I came was because it's the closest bike shop to my house. the owner is a scam and un honest person. I hope your business continues to struggle and you struggle to make a profit because you deserve nothing more. read more

I visited cycle shack to get my wheel for a MTb fixed. The wheel looked and rode well with exception of a minor wobble, but the owner of the place told me that this wheel was un salvageable and needed to be replaced. The front rim replacement totaled 124.99$ USD. Seeming ridiculous I took the wheel to Naples Cycling to get a different quote. The service technician of Naples Cycling told me the some spokes needed to be tightened and he would be done in 1 hour, the cost 17.08$ USD (after tax). Psycho Shack will scam you out of as much money as possible. read more

I am an Activities and Events Director at a Country Club. In fact, the closest Country Club to The Cycle Shack. These gentlemen, who own and run this business is the worst professionals I've ever tried to help. My community members have made requests to have them, do a bike fair in our community? Three years ago, they were prebooked before I was hired, they only showed up for 1 out of 4, with no warning and claim they got into an accident when they are three blocks away from us. Year 2, I couldn't even book them because, nobody would return my phone calls or emails. Year 3, I tried again hoping that things would change only because a member asked me too. Teddy Wallingford did book 4 dates with me in 2025. Before the first event I knew our members hadn't registered yet, of course, my members being older, don't always sign up for things they like to show up instead. I told this to Teddy Wallingford still thinking they were coming, not once did he say we are not showing up. I had a parking lot of bikers & no Cycle Shack. I asked Teddy Wallingford to give me a call nothing, I have been ghosted again. Cycle Shack feels that they can plan events and not show up to any of them, or return phone calls or emails? All I want to do is help their business. If this is how they treat their community, I don't recommend giving them any business they don't deserve to have one! read more

This shop is amazing. I took my bike in for a tune up and I was very impressed by quality of service and the attention to detail. I received an estimate to start with, I left my bike for the tune up. Later in the day I received a call from the service dept that they found a couple of minor additional items that they thought needed some attention. I received a cost and I gave them the go ahead. My bike was ready by the end of the day. When I picked it up the service manager went over everything that was done and I was told if there were any other items after I got the bike home to let them know. The price was reasonable, the people were great to work with. I live south of this shop, it's a good 1/2 hr away. There are many shops near me that I have actually used, but I will definitely spend the extra to make the trip to the Cycle Shack!! read more

Don't even bother wasting your time at Cycle Scam, their greedy little paws will try to find any way to take your money. I came in to get my pegs installed on my SE bike and the staff told me it would be 30$ just to install it(took it to Bike Route which they did for free) ,which was ridiculous not to mention they said SE bikes didn't even sell blue pegs when I tried to order from them. Either staff is severely under trained and/or they don't care at all about customer servicesave your money, don't go here. read more

I dropped off my bike on a Thursday afternoon to have a cell phone holder put on the guy working there asked me about the mounting location and the only place it could go was on the right side of the handle bars when I picked it up on Sunday they but it on the left side which is totally wrong place to put it and you cannot use the leaver for locking the holder in place so I'm going to have to bring it to another bike shop and have them fix it, This bike shop can't even get a simple thing done right read more

I was wondering if I should replace my bike and they honestly told me what my bike was worth, and what it would cost to have it maintenanced, and I was able to make a non-pressured decision to have it repaired. They promised the bike within 48 hours and I had a text within 7 that it was done. They also have delivery service! Extremely convenient. I purchased a new Fuji bike two weeks ago and Teddy could not have been more accommodating, letting me test three different bikes; riding around the plaza multiple times. Each time he asked for specific feedback as to how comfortable each bike was until we narrowed it down to the one I purchased. Within two hours the bike was delivered to my home. Can't get much better than that!! FYI I went there even though I had read negative comments on this site which I can't imagine are real. Two weeks after buying the bike I went back because the seat felt a bit wobbly. Mike came out looked at the bike and repaired the seat immediately. He too was knowledgeable and professional. My husband and preteen son went to cycle shack to purchase some nice bikes for summer. My son is well over 5 foot tall and my husband asked the guy what size bike he should get. The guy just looked, Gave a flip answer to my husband and said they don't have anything anyway. All bikes are backordered coming from China meanwhile the shop is filled with bikes that look like they'd be the appropriate size. This guy obviously didn't feel like selling a couple of bikes. Take your business elsewhere. Kind of sad because this place had been recommended by a friend but obviously whoever took care of them wasn't working that day.A complete waste of time! Unbelievable! My son just went there to have his bike checked and get some air for his tires and the person in the shop told him the repair for his bike gears would be $75 starting price and it would be in the shop for 10-14 days! I told him to leave and go somewhere else which he did! He just called me to tell me this new place fixed his bike, fill the tires with air, they took only 25 minutes and didn't charged him a penny! People are really hungry out there to the point of ripping off a teenager! So sad! read more

I've had to have the same repairs on my bike over and over again after the cycle shop had repaired them. I finally asked to have the rear wheel replaced and they quoted me one price and charged me another. They didn't pick up my bike when I scheduled service and then wanted to charge me the full pick up price to return it. After agreeing to pay half the price, they then tried to charge me more after fixing the bike. Most of the younger workers there were very helpful and polite. However, several times I have come to the store and no one is wearing masks. read more

I went in one day to get a new inter tube and I was met with a know it all employee that just tried to tell me I don't know what I am talking about because I asked him do you sell patches for inter tubes and he said no just buy another tube and I told him isn't a patch cheaper and he said patches don't work and good luck so just spend more money here and buy another tube that's your only option and then Gave me a big attitude. So I found some patches online with good reviews and 2 months later I am still holding air. Went here for a broken spoke. Told the guy I am low income, the bike was a gift and I am a disabled veteran taking care of an unemployed disabled girlfriend. By the time the guy was done ripping me off, the bill was over $600!!! Changed items that were fine, used the most expensive parts. Added pedals with screws poking out (for $59?) that are eating away at the soles of my shoes. I didn't notice until afterwards that my gear shifters on the left side of my handlebars were not working. I guess neither did they. They cleaned the bike and cleaned me out. Avoid this place at all costs... Trek was way more affordable and the store didn't look like a storage facility. Never felt more taken advantage of. read more

Cycle Shack got my very used Electra Cruiser in tip top shape. Tune up, new chain and back tire and fixed broken spoke. And then shined (cherry scent) the hot pink metallic paint frame and cleaned up the white wall tires like new. Pricing ALL relative and it rides like a dream. This shop has excellent customer service and now I know where to go for bike repair and who to recommend. read more

It's always a good sign when a business has a friendly dog roaming around inside. In addition to that, the gentleman that helped me with my daughter's bike was super friendly and knowledgeable. Major LETDOWN! I had a particularly poor experience here. I entered the shop and was immediately please by what I found- a family bike shop with a shop dog. The young man who welcomed me in the shop was pleasant and seemed willing to assist me. I wanted a simple repair on an old bike but the visit quickly turned sour. The owner, who interrupted the young man helping me, insisted that I needed a full service costing me $75. I was hesitant and explained my reservations to the young man, the owner yelled out rudely from the back of the store saying I could pay the $75 bucks or he'd buy it from me for $75. Nobody deserves to be treated like that in any store.......the bike shop down the road gave me the service I needed for just $20. This shop doesn't know how to treat its local customers. Today I had a flat about 1.5 miles from Cycle Shack. I walked to the store and asked Mike the Manager if he could help me out. Obviously I was riding and needed a replacement tube to get home which was another 1.5 miles away. He said he was too busy building new bikes. It's important to note that for the 3 years I've lived in Naples I've only supported Cycle Shack. At their previous Pebblebrooke location and now their new Vanderbilt Rd location. I have a '97 Cannondale mountain bike and have spent over $500 on parts and labor with Cycle Shack but after today's experience I will never, ever set foot in there again. They better bring their son Jacob back because the father, Teddy and his staff provide the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Have called several times during business hours, they do not answer, goes to voicemail, cannot leave a message cause it is full. Asked them via Facebook Messenger if the where still in business got a one word answer "Yes". I responded with a question and they did not reply. if I could give them zero stars I would. employees are rude condescending argumentative and unresponsive. My bike was there for a complete overhaul (500.00) spent. didn't bother to call and let me know it was finished. brakes squeal, handle bar wrapping unraveled. waited over a month for them to get in the tape to redo the wrapping. They again didn't call. When it was returned the left and right sides of the wrap don't match. they removed the padding from the side that was unraveled and didn't replace it so the bars are lopsided. Terrible customer service. owner said they will not redo. DO NOT SHOP HERE. MY NEXT CALL WILL BE BETTER BUSINESS. read more
