Great place to rent a quality bike while in Naples. Friendly staff and excellent selection of high quality cruisers.

Got my first bike from the bike route and still buying bikes there for my son. Great selection, great service, wonderful employees. Prices are in line with other places. Wonderful owners. Great location in downtown Naples on 41. read more

Ran over something near a construction area that punctured my rear tire and tube that are mounted on an unusually difficult rim to change them. Found Bike Route online and called them and was told that it could be repaired while I wait. Got the bike to them and their service department immediately tackled the problem. Service and price could not have been better. While waiting noticed their large selection of bikes and helmets. Small thing but liked that the store has motion detecting auto-operated doors. Real nice not needing to hold a door open while pushing a bike. read more

This is a very nice bike shop. Do you think it's small from the street view but they have a great selection of bicycles. Especially the electric bikes and Marshall was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in making a decision. They follow up and make sure that you're pleased With the experience. read more

Great place with an amazing and helpful staff. Large selection of bikes and gear with lots of options with many of the top brands available.

What a complete bike shop! With the type of service you always want but never quite receive. It is hard to believe anyone could ever go wrong by coming to The Bike Route. Maybe I was fortunate to have the guidance of Marshall to take care of all my cycling needs. He made me aware of all the potential selections with perfect details of what to expect from the items I did purchase. Never a salesman, more of a teacher/instructor. As well as being knowledgeable he also possesses the ability to listen to your needs and meet them. Items they do stock are all of quality nature and competitively priced. Come one come all and have all your biking needs met with professionalism and knowledgeable staff. read more

I've had years of great experiences at The Bike Route. I sadly purchased my first true road bike elsewhere and didn't receive the customer services they give here at the Bike Route. But all my maintenance and repairs are 100% taken care by great mechs and a more than reasonable price. My next bike will be from these guys. One example: Recently while out riding I had a shifting issue and of course I had a race in 2 days ! Took it before closing to the Bike Route Thursday late and had it repaired by Saturday morning and cost less than I imagined. Great communication and service . Shout out to Andrew ! read more

Great service and parts as always! It's a busy time of the year, so it took a few days for the repairs to be completed. But, they took great care of the bike, cleaned her up and it is riding like new. Of course, the facility is always in top shape, all staff are super friendly and they stock everything a biker needs. read more

My Giant Trance X EMTB was out of commission, It would not turn on . I called The Bike Route in Naples for help. They took it in right away and had it repaired the next day. Their tech Andrew did a fantastic job on my bike and I will definitely go back for service if and when needed. Their shop is very nice with state of the art equipment and very clean. The best bike shop in Southwest Florida. Highly recommended for service and sales. Thanks again , Randy read more

Today I got there right before closing I thought for sure that they were going to tell me I'd have to come back tomorrow but they didn't they fixed it for me right on the spot. I love these people! Excellent service. Nice fellas working there. We got two of the last three bikes they had.

I walked in with one of my tires and was greeted right away by a service person who changed out the tube within 5 mins and the charge was minimal. The next day the other tire went flat and I was in and out in 5 again. I didn't even have time to check out their beautiful inventory like the electric bikes they have by the door! Great service, friendly, fast in convenient location. Bought my bike from them 8 years ago and just love it! Marcy read more

A great bike store--very knowledgeable staff and quick service. Recently I had them repair a flat tire and then stored the bike as I was going out of town. When I got back the tire was flat again. Took it back expecting a problem since the repair had been a few weeks ago. But no problem, they fixed it for free, no questions asked! That is first class service. Highly recommend this store! read more

My husband and I were visiting from Pennsylvania for a few days and brought our bikes along. Started out on the Naples Greenway. A few miles in I had busted a bearing (finding this out after my husband did a diagnostic). Called The Bike Route and they said they would take a look. Took it over and luckily they weren't too busy. They were able to find the odd size bearing and fixed it in less than an hour. Very helpful service guys! Thank you! read more

I read mostly great reviews, but was a bit skeptical since they are located in a more expensive part of town. I did bring my granddaughter's bike, she wanted a front brake and my daughter bike, in need of a new front tire tube, a decent kickstand and maybe a child carrier for the back. I found one and the had no problem installing it and fixing all the other problems. They me mechanics also helped me unload and load the bikes. They where friendly, explained everything and I could even wait for it. Totally awesome for a reasonable price. They will definitely my to go place for bike stuff. read more

I am visiting from out of town. Went for a ride and noticed my power meter wasn't working on my bike. With no appointment, the shop quickly fixed the problem and gave the bike a tune up - all for under $30. Had me out the door in 20 minutes. Incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them. read more

At a time where online retailing is taking its toll on local shops, you'll be lucky you can still find yourself inside a great local bike shop such as The Bike Route of Naples. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Happy to answer all your questions and guide you through all things cycling. I've purchased 3 bikes from them since I moved to Naples. I'll likely purchase my next bike from them as well. They have a great loyalty program that allows you to earn points and redeem them at any time. You can apply these points toward any purchase. I've redeemed snacks for upcoming rides, accessories for the bike, even pedals. Honorable mentions; Karen, Will, Mike, Doug, Steve. Support your Local Bike Shop; These guys rock! read more

We have frequented this shop for years, but today was another exceptional example of their great service. I brought my old Raleigh bicycle into the shop on New Year's Eve with a broken brake cable. They fixed it while I waited (only 1/2 hour or so) and with much higher quality parts (Shimano) than was originally on the bike. It was also very affordable (much less than I expected), and all of the staff members were friendly and nice. We will be buying new bikes sometime soon and we will definitely buy them here. read more

We were traveling and needed a repair. After visiting another shop that was not open during posted hours. I called The Bike Route Shop and they told me they had the parts and could have it fixed while I waited. They were very helpful and I could tell very attentive. The show room was organized and I enjoyed browsing while they made the repair. They even took care of some minor items without up selling me for the items. Great overall customer service and an experience that exceeded my expectations! Thank you! read more

JUST walked in and b/c my bike was in storage and I may have mishandled it in packing the car, the back brake jammed, seat was loose and needed air in the tires. They also did a couple of other adjustments. Was waiting for the charge...and there WAS NONE! Really appreciated that. (I'm a snowbird from NY) of course when we buy our next bike for Dot, this is the place!! read more

I've been here on numerous occasions and always had a pleasant experience. The lady at the front sales desk was extremely helpful and friendly, and followed me over to the light section to pick out what would work best for me. She took her time with me and made me feel confident in my purchase. I also had to go to the service department to fix some issues with my e-bike, and the 2 gentlemen we're not only very friendly, but helped adjust and fix my bike to get it in riding condition. They aswell were very informative, friendly, and made it feel like they actually cared about my bike and my overall experience. To finish this review, I believe I may of met the owner at one point too, who was also very friendly and full of conversation. This was nice as it didn't feel like a typical bike store, it was like they were genuinely happy to have you at their store. Thanks guys! read more

Went in to pick up some spokes for a wheel I was building. I told them I drove quite a ways to come to their store, passing several other bike shops on the way specifically because they had helped me before to calculate the correct length I needed. Been coming here for several years and always pleased with the service and selection. This time there were no other customers in the store, four employees, and I was told I would have to come back the next day to pick them up. The last time they helped me with this, the store was crowded and one of the mechanics stopped what he was working on and calculated my spoke length and set me up with everything I needed. It took 15 minutes. I won't be going back. read more

Came in to purchase two adult bikes and one child's bike. Was told trail bikes are in the corner by the guy looking at a magazine at the front desk who could barely look up at us. About 6 employees were standing around and one was helping another family with a small child as well. After we had picked out entirely on our own two of the three bikes we wanted to purchase as if we were in a box warehouse store, a woman with a Karen haircut approached us and told us our child had to leave the store. I was hoping to purchase his first of many bikes there, but not now. They are incredibly rude and can careless about customers. I have told everyone I run into not to purchase from their store. From the other comments here I see I'm not alone in my frustration. read more

I like the free air pump they have outside that stops at the pressure you set it to fill up to.

We were visiting Naples for the day and decided to do some sight seeing via bikes. We would highly recommend checking out the architecture and landscape in Naples. Called around and decided on The Bike Route. They provided quick, helpful service and gave us some suggestions for routes. The bikes were practically brand new and in excellent condition! The affordable rental included a helmet and lock. So glad we found this bike shop! read more

I have been to this store twice lately. The first time to buy a lock. Sales person was very helpful and even showed me how to set the combination. The second time I went in for a pump. I showed him what I had and he said I did not need a new pump and showed me how to use it on the european valve stems. It is hard to find good customer service and this store has great service. read more

If we could give this place zero stars, we would. We arrived wanting to rent 2 bikes for a few hours, I also needed a pair of sunglasses. We picked out bikes, provided personal information, photo ID, phone number and a credit card. I told the cashier we also wanted the pair of sunglasses I picked out. They told us everything is ready to go and we can take off on the bikes. Two hours later we ride up to the shop and are greeted by the Naples Police with sirens blazing- the police jump out and say we "stole" a pair of sunglasses. Bear in mind they have our names, mobile phone number, copy of my driver license and a credit card imprint (and our rental car parked in their lot)... They didn't bother to call us- which would have immediately resolved this without the drama of a SWAT scene, apparently they didn't even engage their brains at all. We're both business owners and can't even imagine treating customers this way- don't make yourself a crime statistic in Naples and skip this store. read more

The customer service is excellent at The Bike Route. These people are very knowledgeable about their products, biking in general, and the older models like the one I have had serviced. Worst customer service experience in retail history. I wouldn't buy a bike from these clowns if they were the last bike shop on earth and bicycles were the only form of transportation. For those of you who live on the EAST side of US41...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. These people are so spoiled from the west-siders that they don't want to earn the business from the working class folks. They expect you to just come in, point at a bike and write a check. read more
