My biggest pet peeve are shops that think I don't know anything and will talk to my husband instead of me even though I'm the one giving them the info on my bike. So I was extremely pleased with that. Even when I was first learning about bikes, he never talked to me like I was dumb. Support small business!

I was too surprised to say anything further and he goes "are you kidding me??" and hangs up. The point of my story is this. It's 2025 and there are a lot of options. If you unnecessarily talk to me like I'm a jerk, then I'm not going to do business with you. In fact, I can, will, and did do business with your competitor instead. No appointments can be a tad annoying during the busy winter season but most of the time you can stop in and they fix your tire(s) or sell you replacements instantly. They grabbed my keys and fixed the rim & tire in less than five minutes. Customer service doesn't get better than that. Be sure to tip the person who works on your car.

When mechanics are using Autozone, you know they must be good. This location has fixed my "stuff" on several occasions. Putting in headlights for me, checking on belts, sorting out fuses, you name it. In the heat of the summer, or the coldest day in winter, they replaced headlamp bulbs for me. They never accept tips (except for the one guy, who did, but I'm not mentioning any names) and it's gotten to the point that I come to this store for minor auto parts before I go to any other. Now it's the end of the review, which is known as the "Outrozone." I hope you have enjoyed reading.

The guy who called told me I could go to their location on McKinley if I wanted to get it done that day. However, there was a good bit of a wait, so I ended up going home and rebooking online for a weekday appointment. I got to my appointment about ten minutes early and when I walked in, the man at the counter asked me, "You here for an inspection?" and called me by name. I confirmed he was correct. It felt good to be expected. They took my car back immediately and were done very quickly. Their waiting area is comfortable and clean. Parking was easy. The location is convenient at the corner of Southwestern and Camp - easy in and out if you're making a right turn!

BEWARE -- I will no longer be taking my vehicle to Pep Boys…read more I brought my car to Pep Boys for what should have been a routine rear brake and rotor replacement. After leaving the store, I immediately began noticing scraping and clunking noises coming from the rear of the vehicle. After inspecting the car myself, I discovered that the brake caliper was scraping against the inside of my wheel, causing visible damage. I brought the vehicle back to Pep Boys the very next day and explained the issue to the manager. After they took my vehicle into the shop to inspect the situation I was repeatedly told that when he looked at it, "everything was fine" and that "maybe something got wedged in it." I showed him pictures I had taken on my phone clearly showing the caliper scraping against the wheel and the resulting damage. Even after seeing the pictures, the manager continued to insist that everything was fine when he looked at it and responded, "What do you want me to do about it?" When my vehicle was returned to me, the caliper had been moved back into the correct position, and the damage to my wheel had been spray-painted over. The manager refused to acknowledge any problem and made no attempt to compensate the situation. The complete lack of accountability and the way my concerns were dismissed is extremely concerning. What else will they lie about? I will never bring another vehicle to Pep Boys again.
