He walked across the street to the shop to ask for help trying to replace the serpentine belt even if it was only advice. He would have gladly paid someone to walk over and help, but was told in no uncertain terms :we're too busy". As the garage closed for the day and we were still sitting in the parking lot, every single worker walked out and drove away. So much for "exceptional customer service", treating people "like family", friendly down to earth. I can only hope someday they need a little help to get through and are turned away. FYI....both the staff at Advance Auto Parts and Mark S., service manager at West Herr Chevy in Hamburg, went above and beyond to get us going again. Now that's exceptional customer service!!!

If you're looking to purchase parts from here for your car DONT…read more. I purchased a tail light for a replacement as the one on the car was cracked. I found one online on their site and it stated the light was in perfect condition nothing wrong with it. I called up the location and asked them over the phone if it was in fact in working and perfect condition and the lady on the phone confirmed it is and had no damage or anything. I paid over the phone for the item and paid for shipping (Nov 9th). It took almost a week to receive the item, once it arrived I opened the box and to my surprise the light was damaged. The seal on the light was broken and there was a lot of water and condensation in the light. (I literally poured the water out of it). This is not a "no damage" product. I emailed and called the location 3 times over several days before finally getting ahold of someone. I advised of the issue and asked if there was a replacement that could be sent. I was told someone would text me with more details. Once I received the text and shared the photos of the damaged product we went through the hoops of shipping the item back. It took about 4 days to get a return label from them & then couple of days to get everything packaged weighed and labeled on my end and then the item was shipped back November 28th. After another couple days I followed up as I saw from tracking they had received the item. I was told that they did received it and it was being processed through "quality control". Interesting that there is a quality control for returned items but not the products being shipped out.. but moving on, I messaged again on Dec 8th asking what would be happening next as I still haven't heard back and was told on December 9th that a replacement would be sent that day, followed by another text saying I would receive it Monday Dec 12th, surprise .. I didn't receive anything. I followed up yet again on December 17th asking where the item is because at this point it's been over a month of back and forth to receive a part that I paid for. I advised if they can't get the part delivered to me within the week at this point I just want a refund. As to your surprise at this point I got no response to my text at all. I followed up again on December 21st with a message asking if I will be receiving the part, to which I received a 3 word text "issued a refund". Please do not do business here at all unless you want a headache for over a month or broken unusable parts. The customer service is a disgrace and you will never get what you actually paid for. At this point I could have ordered the light somewhere else and this replaced 5x over. These people really screwed me over.

They were open after 5 and we were able to walk in and get him a new tire in minutes. We were taken care of by one of the owners, Abdullah. He's super friendly and helpful. I felt bad when we walked in we interrupted his dinner but he stopped and got my son's tire changed out quick. It was so speedy I decided after he was done with my son's car, I'd ask him take a look at my tires since I had been experiencing a slow leak which is been annoying me for months. He pulled it in and was able to identify the tire that was giving me the issue and solve the problem which was a very rusty rim was the culprit. Needless to say I was so pleased. This is a nice shop has many other services besides tires. I wouldn't hesitate telling anybody to go and give them a try.

I think it is our new auto go-to place for most any automobile needs. I took Lynette's car in for an inspection this morning. She knew it was going to need at least one tire (it needed two) and that the wipers were starting to shred. But there was also a clunk that two other places had not been able to locate the problem, and two days ago the hood latch had broken. Max and the crew did it all. Marylou at the service counter provided friendly and courteous interaction and information. Sammy's began on Tupper St. in 1955 and has been on Niagara St. for the past 20 years. They do collision, towing, inspections, mechanics ...and hood latch repair. The clunk? "Over certain bumps or potholes, the exhaust pipe had been hitting the drive shaft." They were able to bend the pipe enough to keep that from happening. Thank you, Sammy's Auto Center!

Brought my car in asking for him to change the transmission fluid, change the oil, and look into an…read moreexhaust leak I had which was causing the check engine light to be on. I went in the next day (when he said it would be ready) only the find the oil changed and nothing else done. He told me my transmission oil was dirty but not low, I needed new wheel bearings, my car pulls to the right, I needed a new exhaust manifold and flex pipe as they were all rusted out, and that I needed new wiper blades. He told me he would call me later that day or the next day with the prices for all the parts he would need, and I never heard from him again. That was 3 months ago. I ended up paying 75$ for an oil change and some wiper blades, that he didn't even install (not that that's a big deal). I'm glad I never heard from him again though, turns out my exhaust was fixed by a 5 minute weld, and my wheel bearings were fine. I had another garage look at it and after they aligned it (for free), and changed the transmission fluid, and they said it was fine. Claims to make customers for life but he can't call back the person he was about to scam into 400$+ worth of repair? University car care is a joke.
