This place is conveniently close to where I live and where I work, so luckily I didn't have to travel far after my windshield wiper had broken off on the thruway during a particularly rainy day. Man, I HATE driving with poor sight. They sell plenty of things for your car here, including windshield wipers, which was what I stopped in for. If you're not sure of what size windshield wiper you need, there's people here to help you with that! They have all the info in their computers, so don't be afraid to ask if they can check what size wiper you'll need for your car's make and model. Like I said, they have a number of things here for your vehicle, with anything from road safety kits and wiper fluid to batteries, and other car parts. This is the first paragraph of the review, also known as the "Introzone." In this zone I will tell you that this store is a national chain which provides cheap and efficient auto parts, not only to motorists, but also to mechanics and garages. When mechanics are using Autozone, you know they must be good. This location has fixed my "stuff" on several occasions. Putting in headlights for me, checking on belts, sorting out fuses, you name it. In the heat of the summer, or the coldest day in winter, they replaced headlamp bulbs for me. They never accept tips (except for the one guy, who did, but I'm not mentioning any names) and it's gotten to the point that I come to this store for minor auto parts before I go to any other. I realize the pandemic has people on edge. But I still maintain that if your business is going to be open then you're still going to treat customers well especially since customers are making the journey to come to your store. So imagine my surprise coming here and asking the two staff members for help locating a license plate frame screw. I needed a short, shallow screw to fit. Unfortunately the reaction I got was a none too subtle "we don't give a crap." Surely other people have this problem with license plate frames, I asked. Again, I got this look - more a sneer - that I would not be getting any help. I left the store and eventually got help at a hardware store. Who believes that an Autozone couldn't help with a car license plate frame? read more

*This is the Autozone at Transit & Maple, but it didn't show up on Yelp.* We were greeted promptly. Even though I don't work on cars or know anything about cars, I love to check things out when I go into an automotive store with my hubby. I especially like looking at the supplies one can use to clean cars, the steering wheel, seat and license plate covers and the LED Plug & Glow kits. Autozone is like a candy store for guys and people that love to work on cars, in my option. My husbands car doesn't have a cup holder slot. Why yes, it is very annoying. We found individual cup holders that you can just clip on to places in the car. Whoop! Hopefully they work! read more

Last year, one of my wipers broke because I was an idiot and forgot to put them up so they wouldn't freeze to my windshield. The first time I went there, one of the guys fixed it temporarily. When it broke again, there was a different guy there. I went there with the intention of purchasing a new wiper, but he gave it to me for free. I don't know if this is standard or not, but I really appreciated it. Both guys were super nice and willing to do what they could to help me out. read more

Caliper was defective ruined my brand-new rotor. Caliper mounting bolts were too long by 3 mm and gouged my rotor. Many hours of wasted time, car laid up not usable. How can something this simple be screwed up by Autozone. This cost me four hours work, frustration taking emergency brakes off putting them back on getting new calipers.
