I had bought a 3rd party tempered glass screen protector from Amazon, and I was weary even with the easy application tray it came with. I found ALX through Yelp. I saw the great reviews, so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Alex, who asked me a few questions about the screen protector-- and said to bring it in, and they would do it for free. I was shocked to hear "for free", and immediately took them up on it. I was helped by Tommy when I went in, who was super friendly as I explained the screen protector situation. The whole experience took less than 5 minutes. The screen protector was on-- and it looked perfect. HUGE sigh of relief. He said that if anything happened to the screen protector, I could bring in the 2nd screen protector it came with and they would reapply it again. FaceID stopped working and there was a little bit of condensation I could see in the cameras so I took it in to have it dried out and looked at. When I received my phone back FaceID still didn't work which was fine because everything else did and I plan on getting the 14 when it is released. Between the shop and my house (20 minutes) a bright line appeared on the screen. I explained this to them and they said "It wouldn't be from the water since the water was gone when it happened." After looking at it again the next day they proceeded to blame me and say "you must have damaged it between leaving here and getting home." Unwilling to accept responsibility they wanted another $209 on top of the $130 I paid for the initial repair. Amazing right?
