Cool Oldtimers parts store in the heart of Orange. It's like a free mini museum. Orange is really unique with all the cool stores around the circle. If you have never been to Orange, make sure you visit while in the area. Enjoy.

I can't afford to step through the doors of this place at the moment. I was just driving by one morning and the view was stunning. This place is the definition of Cool....

I've owned modified cars for years, and one thing I've learned is that there are plenty of shops…read morethat can install parts. Very few shops can actually think. Project Import is one of those rare shops. What separates them isn't just the quality of the work, it's the level of thought that goes into every decision. They don't just ask what problem you're trying to solve today; they ask where you want the car to be years from now and build accordingly. Every recommendation is made with the long-term goal in mind. I've brought them some complicated issues on my 1JZ-swapped E30, and at every step they've been realistic, honest, and incredibly meticulous. If something needs attention, they'll tell you. If something doesn't need to be replaced, they'll tell you that too. No upselling, no shortcuts, no guessing. Just real diagnostics and real solutions. What I appreciate most is that they refuse to take the easy route if it's not the right route. A lot of shops will get a car out the door as quickly as possible. Project Import takes the time to do things properly the first time. In the long run, that actually makes their work a bargain because you're not paying another shop to redo it six months later. Their fabrication, attention to detail, and workmanship are top-notch, but honestly the biggest value is the trust. When they tell me something, I believe it. When they recommend a path forward, I know it's because it's the best solution for the car, not because it's the most profitable solution for them. At this point, I won't take my cars anywhere else. If you're looking for a shop that's honest, highly skilled, forward-thinking, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way, Project Import has earned my highest recommendation.

Maybe those were older reviews. I think Project Import has grown a lot since then. Kiet shared a lot of information about my Lancer Evolution. Not many shops understand these cars since they're rare and complex. Kiet and his worker (Duong?) were able to work on my car without any issues. The price quoted was exactly the price I paid as well. I will definitely be a returning customer. I really hope they maintain this high quality of work, especially on my car, which is very special to me. My car is running so smooth now and shifts better. Thank you very much!

Big shoutout to Eric at AutoZone! I walked in with a tire issue and honestly had no idea what to do…read moreor even what questions to ask. Eric was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the whole process. He didn't let me leave until we found a solution to my problem, and I truly appreciated that level of customer service. If you ever need help with your car, go see your boy Eric! He's there every day except Wednesday. Thank you once again Eric!! You really went above and beyond!

My car has been iffy for a whole week. Naturally I thought it would be the battery so my dad took…read moreit over to autozone since we believed we were still under warranty and we were. A girl helped him out on Saturday when the car officially "died" and we had to jump start it. She said since the test passed to try the car out until tomorrow. Told him if it was still bad to return and they would replace it. So the car didn't start today and he went over to take it. Upon arriving he saw a young man with a cart of tools helping another customer replace a car battery. He entered the store and was helped by an Erick Gonzalez. He told him to bring in the battery and they would give him another. He asked him if they could remove it since he didn't have his tools, he said they don't do that. He then asked if he could borrow their tools (since he saw the young man with the cart WITH TOOLS helping another customer with their battery when he had arrived) and he said they don't allow that. Which first off is not true because we have been coming here for years to replace our batteries and to buy other car items. They've always removed the battery and replaced it themselves. He brought in the battery after I had to come and bring his tools when he told me the young man (that was helping the other people) offered to help but Erick said he had it "handled." My dad was going to buy other items because he's been going for years but after this interaction he decided not to. Listen, if you were too lazy to help out a customer you should've sent him over to help us but you didn't. You didn't offer quality customer service which I don't know if this is the same Erick everyone is raving about but if I could give them 0 stars, I would. Just because my dad is Filipino or maybe it's because we're still under warranty you were rude didn't offer the "great" customer service people know you for (if its the same Erick that helped us). Either way, you've lost an entire family of loyal customers.
