Been buying parts from these guys off and on over the years. The telephone customer service is absolutely the worst. Hold time is always long. If you ask a question they have no idea. There is a tech dept. Which is closed on Monday. Called back on Tuesday and the one person In this department went home at 1.30. Called back on Wednesday and waited 20 plus minutes for a guy that was from my end not the sharpest. I go years without buying from them in frustration. I will say if you come in person you stand a better chance of talking to someone that has way better personal skills and understands customer service. Unfortunately I live 60 miles so in person is tough. Hopefully mangement reads these reviews. There is a reason they have a 2.4 star average. read more

I had an issue with a part I purchased. The issue was a manufacturing issue, not a seller or customer issue. JoJo and Matt helped me out with resolving said issue. They immediately did was correct and fair and took care of the customer (me). I was fearing that I was going to have a hard time but that was not the case. Instances like this are what keep me coming back to Truck shop. read more

Thanks to this spot my 65 impala has finally has been completed. It took me years to get this far. I can not imagine ordering parts online not knowing if they may fit or not. I actually walk inn in person to pick up my parts and the guys are very knowledgeable, the know exactly what you need. They Even run to the back to get the part and show it to you before you buy. I recommend to Order your free booklet online so u can have your parts with part numbers ready on a list so when u buy in Person everything is efficient and organized. It could be nerve breaking if you just walk inn pointing parts out. read more

Good essential parts store if you have a classic Chevy or Ford Truck or Car. They are definitely understaffed. Take a number as soon as you walk in and be prepared to wait, and wait and wait. I came in at 1p on a Tuesday and there were only 3-5 customers in the shop and I still had to wait one hour to be served. The counter clerks are knowledgeable but boy do they take their own sweet time with obviously no rush or effort to get to the next customer. They are the only game in town so who's to blame them. Nonetheless every time I come here for parts they always have what I Need in stock! read more

Bought a part from this spot and it was defective would not install correctly the part was still on perfect condition when I brought it back and in the plastic to keep it that way. So when I ask them for a refund they wouldn't do it unless I brought a receipt I have spent over 5 grand here with todays technology I figured they could look it up my previous purchases and they said sorry we can't unless you have a receipt . Do your self a favor and go to classic industry's it's a night and day difference from customer service and having better PARTS like OER. Most of the workers act like they are not happy to work there or you are annoying them it's worse than the DMV I feel like . read more

They have all the parts but their customer service is terrible. Everytime I go there i have to wait about an hour just to see a rep for parts. Today I went for some parts and there was 11 people before me with only one person helping everyone and I saw 5 others guys just laughing and hiding in the back doing nothing. This is the last time I go there. They don't care about good service at all. read more

Ordered parts over a week ago and called to confirm my order. Been putting my motor build off for this simple part. I live in the same county as the shop and since it's been over a week, I have them a call. Almost 5 stars. Everybody inside is very helpful and obviously trying their best. They seem a little short staffed as the wait is usually anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. Many times I don't even bother because I know the wait will be forever. Even though Brothers Truck is a little further from me, Brothers doesn't always have a backed up line. The other reason for 4/5 stars is the part quality. We know repo stuff isn't the best in general. However, some repo parts are still better than others. The stuff Brothers carriers tends to be far higher quality than some of the cheap import junk that The Truck Shop stocks. Come on parts companies, demand better quality out of your manufacturers. I will gladly pay a few dollars more for something that will last! read more

This place used to be really good years ago but now the staff acts like you are just a nuisance and just want to get you out of the store. they also State on the phone and website that they close at 4:30 but they lock the gates at 4:00 and tell you that they won't let anyone else in after 4pm. Don't post that you close at 4:30 if you lock up at 4:00 p.m. and show your customers some common courtesy. Your customers are the reason you are staying in business, it's pretty easy just to go to Amazon and get it shipped to your house next day probably for a better price. Hopefully some manager will read this and make some changes because this place has been going downhill for years. read more

If I could give .25 stars, I would. That way, they would know that I didn't forget the service. Worst "customer service" anywhere!! Attitude, attitude, attitude!! Look up your parts!! We don't do that?!! We aren't responsible for the parts YOU look up!! Again, attitude. There are a lot of companies that sell the same aftermarket products that these guys sell. Go to them, instead of Truck Shop!! The hot rod world is thriving, with Covid happening. You'd think these guys would be humble. NOPE!! Never buying from them again!! read more

I'm an Autoparts store manager, and every time I've ordered from this company the people I get in customer service are quick to get me off the phone or just in general seem to dislike their jobs. You work in an industry that thrives of customer service, but this company seems to only be surviving due to them being one of the few places carrying these hard to find parts. Wish the experience when ordering was better, only ordering what I can't get through my own company and won't be buying anything else... read more

By far the worst customer service of any of the main vendors for old truck parts. Wished I had heeded the advice of so many on all the forums to avoid these guys, but their cheaper price on a 47-53 GMC speedometer enticed me. They sent me a defective Speedo, and refused to take responsibility for. Every customer service rep I talked to trying to fix the situation had the attitude of "tough shit." Which is exactly what so many had said on the forums. Bad review after bad review, and I regrettably I still made a purchase from them. If you're thinking about purchasing from them, DON'T DO IT!!! Not unless you feel like arguing in circles with people who are delusional and think they are never wrong. read more

My "go to" place when I need parts for my 55 Bel Air. Aaron and Rudy are my favorites to deal with, both guys are very helpful and patient. Not to take from any of the other guys working there, these two I've just had more help from when asking questions about parts I'm not too sure about and might need to complete my restoration. Suggestion: Go as early as possible to avoid long waits. It gets super busy and due to the current Covid-19 protocol in place, the wait time is even longer. If you get there in the afternoon, expect to wait 1 to 2 hours for your number to be called. Have your list of items needed ready, your visit will run a lot smoother. read more

Heads up. I bought a door latch for my 1950 truck from Truck shop at the Carlisle spring swap meet. After installing the latch I noticed that the outer door handle was 2" low, not horizontal. I took it back apart and found the square hole for the handle was much larger than the original causing it to droop. I called Truck Shop and dealt with Gil. He said to send the part back and I would receive a store credit. Return shipping was my expense since I bought it at a swap meet. Great customer service and quality parts ??????? read more

Not sure why everyone here is complaining about the truck shop. Yea sometimes it's a long wait time, but I came here for my first time the other day and was pleased with my overall experience. The manager has no clue of the business you ask for a park for a specific year he will give you anything he has just fill your oder when you go back to get the right part they make you wait and take a number which takes 2 hrs why should they waste peoples time when it was the managers mistake it is sad the the employees know more than the manager if they would hire people with more experience and Knowledge the business would run a lot smoother I have spoken to other customers who have had similar experiences and if the manager is the one who is making all the mistakes who do you complain to. read more

I drive over three hours one way to shop here, the two people I seem to always deal with are cool AF to me. They are the ones who have to have patience with me as my orders are usually large with multiple cars involved and these guys know each part very well. Its easy to leave negative reviews unless you understand the whole picture, for one it's a huge warehouse and they don't use robots they use the ok ankle express to find the part, that and the number of customers it's going to be slow. Go early and remember this isn't Star Trek so we can't beem it all aboard. Very Cool guys doing the best they can I would have given 5 stars but if I could only lean on the counter I would be happy. read more

First off all I gotta call B.S. on all the poor reviews. My experience was excellent with good attitude and knowledge. After I pulled my ticket off the machine on the counter it was about 35 minutes till my number was called, not bad for a "parts warehouse" with about a million items available, from a small screw to all the sheet metal on my classic Chevy truck. This is not a Am/Pm where your in and out in 5 minutes, you have to expect a short wait in line and time to pull the CORRECT parts from the miles of shelves and parts numbers. Now I did have a list of carefully selected parts numbers from the Truck Shop web site catalog for my specific 3100 series truck with an updated 261 ci motorin it already in hand before I walked in. If you are putting together a classic car yourself, you should be able to KNOW what you want, give or take a few questions. Going there saying I need this mystery part that makes a noise when I turn the wheel on my vehicle with a 6 or 8 cylinder, is a waist of your time as well as the counter person. As another person kindly put it before me, "If knowing what you want to order in great detail is a problem, you should NOT be putting together a classic car or truck!" That being said my counter person was "Johnny" , at first I thought he might be a little young (I'm 59 and everyone looks young) but he had great attitude, surprisingly good knowledge and the enthusiasm to get that last question answered that I couldn't find in there catalogs. He double checked all the parts with me visually and with the catalog pages. Yes this took another 1/2 hour or so BUT this was expected. I was not getting a Coke and a bag of chips folks, this is automotive surgery!!! Again my experience was excellent and I would recommend the "Truck Shop in Orange,Ca." to any Automotive Surgeon, I mean person!! I actually feel stupid for not going sooner because of some so called bad reviews I had seen on Yelp. Honestly it never occurred to me that "I don't know what a piston is type person" ,would be writing reviews. Take it from an old fart that has been working on all kinds of cars/trucks and motorcycle since 1971, this place rocks. Have a Great Day GGG read more

Received excellent service today at this business. We had a wait time of about 45 minutes after you pull a number. They require masks inside and you have to wait outside until your number is called. We finally got our number called 15 minutes before they closed, on a Friday Night the employee was extremely patient and took his time with my Dad who is elderly. I asked for his name so I could acknowledge him in this review, he said it doesn't matter, there's so many haters that post terrible comments.
