Dick's raised my monthly rates from $132.32 in 2021 to $354.54 in 2025! This is price gouging and ripping off customers who use autopay. My company was a loyal customer of theirs for 13 years. Dick's used to be family owned, and ran their business with decency until they got bought by some greedy national company in 2021. Last week, I called four other companies who provide service in Burnsville MN, and they all quoted me a "fair" monthly rate similar to (but less than) what Dick's used to charge us in 2020. Nitti Sanitation, Aspen Waste and Suburban Waste all quoted me around $110 for identical service to the $354.54 that Dick's jacked up my rates to a few months ago. More than 300% higher for the exact same size and number of trash cans, same number of pickups per month, and same location. Dick's tries to give you a hassle when you cancel too! Their market manager, Howard Enroth, tried to tell me that all companies in town raise their prices like this because of increasing cost of fuel. Not True! I spoke with several of them and all quoted me 1/3 the price. The manager knows how much I was being ripped off, so they offered this: "DSI would like to offer you 12 months of service at no charge. (1/1/2026-12/31/2026)." First of all, I would never do business again with a company that rips people off. Secondly, this offer is less than 1/3 of how much they ripped me off. At this point, I just want to warn other trusting people to NOT trust DSI/Dick's Sanitation. Dick's Sanitation increased my company's trash removal price from $132.32 in 2021 to $201.18 in 2022, then to $243.28 in 2023, up to $290.08 in 2024 up to $354.54 in 2025)! Dick's is NOT a company that you can trust. People are struggling these days. Shame on you Dick's Sanitation!

Take it from me, these are the most joyful people you will ever see in this business. They seem eager to get their hands on your junk and are pleasant in the process. It's always busy around opening time when I typically get there but they are very efficient at getting people turned around and out the door. They make doing the right thing with your toxic items very easy to do!
