They also have a pharmacy, and since the bankruptcy of Rite Aid, there are ten-people-deep lines to pick up medication. They do have three self-checkout lines, but the machines are really finicky and freeze up frequently. There is a large parking lot because it is located in a strip mall, but it is always busy. The best time I have found to go is around 7:00 to 8:00 AM.

Sandra came to help me, super quick and efficient, and she was the only aspect of my visit that made this review have ANY stars. She had to walk with me to each aisle so I could get eyeliner, dry shampoo, razors, Jameson, and the entire time, there were other customers waiting for items too, because you can't add more obstacles and have less employees. To be honest, I needed more but I was so annoyed at the locked cages and the need to drag an underpaid employee around the store with me like I was shopping at Bergdorf's with a black card, that I didn't get what I came for. Because I'm using coupons at CVS. This whole dynamic is gross and off putting. The CEO of CVS (David Joyner) made $17.8 MILLION DOLLARS in 2024. Hire security to prevent theft, (one guard at the door like Costco, 24/7, problem solved, figure it the f*ck out) you can staff appropriately, and maybe people will stop buying everything on GD Amazon. She refused to tell me the information, using patient privacy act as she so called validate reason. Instead, she can only disclose the information to patient him or herself. After I consult a numerous Pharmacist managers cross San Diego county, RITE Aid and CVS, the feedback is what Pride Pharmacy's pharmacist's response to me was strange and unreasonable. I fully support patient privacy act, but as a pharmacy manager ( she told me via 2nd call, she is a manager ) you have to evaluate what type of questions were asked. The question I asked was a simple counseling question. They way she handled this situation indicates an inefficient operating process. We want to support local small business, but the way she handled this small piece of information request was inadequate. I'm not surprised this pharmacy only has 3.5 star review. If the owner of Pride Pharmacy care about customer feedback. Please make sure your internal management level is trained on how to conduct business in a more efficient way.

This review is for their photo services…read more My first order was a batch of 5x7 postcards double-sided on cardstock with rounded corners. I was so sad because their printer didn't seem to work right and each card had a streak in the middle of it. However, they were so nice about it and gave me a refund without issues. I was sad because I had to go to Walgreens to put in the same order due to timing but I will tell you, even though my CVS order had some color issues going on (which was clearly due to something that is not usual with the machine), the CVS version of the same order was a lot more clear and crisp compared to the order I put in for Walgreens. Also, Walgreens puts their company logo on the cards even though it's not part of your design and you paid for it! CVS does not put their brand on your custom card photo orders. The font and photos on my botched CVS order looked so crisp and clean but sadly that darn color streak was not going to be able to be fixed in time, otherwise I would have stuck with CVS. The next week I took a chance and put in another order with CVS but this time it was for a couple of large posters - one 24"x36" and a smaller 12"x14". And I gotta tell you the quality was excellent and I could not be happier. The text was so clear and the photos came out really nice - the color saturation was excellent. I was so happy because I was a little nervous about how they would turn out. Also, I also want to say that the employees are so nice at this location. I appreciate their help and they genuinely care that my orders came out nice and that I was happy. I highly recommend their printing services. The quality is by far way better than Walgreens (the one in San Carlos anyway) and the staff are the nicest folks. Thank you CVS!

When I called to ask about this, I had the "most El Cajon CVS" experience ever - I called to leave a message for the pharmacist and was told that because the store is closed for lunch... I couldn't leave a voice mail. What? Does anyone there know how voice mail even works? Individually, each staffer seems very nice, very friendly, but somewhere in the system, stuff is breaking down. The area is known for no parking availability, residential parking permits, and paid public parking everywhere. I drove around and found this CVS and parked in the private lot. I noticed that this paid private lot is for CVS customers (up to 45mins free for customers). There are 2-4 handicapped parking spots here near the front entrance. I went inside and was greeted by Raquel at the front register. She was able to help me by directing me to the aisle that I needed. My whole experience was great. They have some Valentine's Day items available but I think that they are still getting them out to the shelves. Raquel had excellent customer service and she made my visit wonderful. This is a five star visit.
