I was impressed by the variety stocked. Prices were reasonable too. I was surprised by the amount of items that were locked up. I'm guessing for Loss Prevention. I grabbed my boxes headed up to the register. Karen was friendly, she asked if I needed a bag which I politely declined. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Easy breezy, that's my kind of shopping. Will bookmark this location for future quick grab items!

I tend to avoid going to CVS, but I like this location primarily because the staff are friendly. They also have a pharmacy, and since the bankruptcy of Rite Aid, there are ten-people-deep lines to pick up medication. They do have three self-checkout lines, but the machines are really finicky and freeze up frequently. There is a large parking lot because it is located in a strip mall, but it is always busy. The best time I have found to go is around 7:00 to 8:00 AM.

Once the vet tech apparently checked us in, about 20-30 minutes later our last name was called. We asked which one of us she wanted to see first and she informed us that my husband had been checked in and insurance verified however I had been marked as not checked in, because my insurance had not been linked. She offered to let them know and then proceeded to help other patients. Not knowing how long she was going to take before letting them know, I got back in line to resolve the issue. Spoke to the head pharmacist who verified I had not been checked in, to which the previous vet tech just looked and mumbled "oh sorry" to me. At this point it was 40 minutes past my appointment. The head pharmacist then got me fully checked in and insurance verified. I waited a couple more minutes when the vaccine technician started to call another name. When I asked when I was going to be seen (because the employees messed up with the check in, not me) she proceeded to show me the queue and that I was at the bottom. My husband and I asked if there was any service recovery that can be done and she kept re-explaining where I was in the queue but would do her best to see me next. The next person she called was not making themselves known so my husband and I asked again if we could please go next as we were almost an hour past our appointment and I still needed to get my vaccine. She finally agreed and I was done in less than 5 minutes. A scheduled appointment that should have taken only about 10 minutes took an hour.

She had to walk with me to each aisle so I could get eyeliner, dry shampoo, razors, Jameson, and the entire time, there were other customers waiting for items too, because you can't add more obstacles and have less employees. To be honest, I needed more but I was so annoyed at the locked cages and the need to drag an underpaid employee around the store with me like I was shopping at Bergdorf's with a black card, that I didn't get what I came for. Because I'm using coupons at CVS. This whole dynamic is gross and off putting. The CEO of CVS (David Joyner) made $17.8 MILLION DOLLARS in 2024. I fully support patient privacy act, but as a pharmacy manager ( she told me via 2nd call, she is a manager ) you have to evaluate what type of questions were asked. The question I asked was a simple counseling question. They way she handled this situation indicates an inefficient operating process. The area is known for no parking availability, residential parking permits, and paid public parking everywhere. I drove around and found this CVS and parked in the private lot. I noticed that this paid private lot is for CVS customers (up to 45mins free for customers). There are 2-4 handicapped parking spots here near the front entrance. I went inside and was greeted by Raquel at the front register. She was able to help me by directing me to the aisle that I needed. My whole experience was great. They have some Valentine's Day items available but I think that they are still getting them out to the shelves. Raquel had excellent customer service and she made my visit wonderful. This is a five star visit.
