All these other reviews are goofy. This place is actually AMAZING considering all the shit they have to put up with from corporate. I came in on March 19th around 5pm to get a few toiletries and my prescriptions. The pharmacy line was wrapped around the stanchions and hardly moved during my 15-20 min visit. I skipped that and very quickly realized that I couldn't get a single f***in item on my list, without a store associate unlocking the cage for each individual item. Sandra came to help me, super quick and efficient, and she was the only aspect of my visit that made this review have ANY stars. She had to walk with me to each aisle so I could get eyeliner, dry shampoo, razors, Jameson, and the entire time, there were other customers waiting for items too, because you can't add more obstacles and have less employees. To be honest, I needed more but I was so annoyed at the locked cages and the need to drag an underpaid employee around the store with me like I was shopping at Bergdorf's with a black card, that I didn't get what I came for. Because I'm using coupons at CVS. This whole dynamic is gross and off putting. The CEO of CVS (David Joyner) made $17.8 MILLION DOLLARS in 2024. Hire security to prevent theft, (one guard at the door like Costco, 24/7, problem solved, figure it the f*ck out) you can staff appropriately, and maybe people will stop buying everything on GD Amazon. Your whole business model is foolish AF. Shout out to Sandra for her assistance today, sad I couldn't get my prescriptions and I'll probably have them sent elsewhere cause whoever is running this establishment is either a silly goose, or corporate is to blame. If there was a negative rating this place would get it. The staff members are helpful, however, the exterior of the building is terrible and unsafe. Graffiti on the outside of the building, beggers asking for money at the front steps and approaching people in the parking lot. the trash is over flowing at the entrance and homeless people all around the outside of the building. I came in late at night (around 1am). The pharmacy staff was very kind and helpful as well as the front counter staff member. I got my medicine with no problems. Only one ding - no Starbucks Double Shot energy drinks, which should be stocked in high volume at a CVS - front staff helped me look but they were out of the energy drink. The line for the pharmacy was approx 32 customers online, filling Half of the main store. There are three customer service windows in the pharmacy. That afternoon, one employee was at the customer service and check out area. Of course, some customers come with long and complicated insurance and cost and coverage issues. All understandable. What I and my neighbors cannot understand is the complete lack of coordination between busy hours and employee hours. They know when it's going to be busy. Plus there is no sonline service whereby customers can see the approx wait time at the pharmacy. So come here at your peril or you make be lucky and get quick service. The staff seem nice. They said it was "24 hours" got there and they didn't let us in unless we had a doctor prescripción. Their reasoning is because they are "under staffed" and it was a today issue. Pharmacy has the slowest service in town!!!! it takes you 30mins or more even the line is short! Very poor service.

This CVS is an odd combination of both very busy and attracting of some very odd people. The pharmacy often has a long line, yet there are also often transients panhandling at the front door. The only reason I use this pharmacy, is that unlike Target's much nicer store down the street, CVS' pharmacy is open 24 hours. On the upside, this is a sizable CVS, it has a large parking lot, and it usually has a decent selection of birthday and anniversary cards, but from the second I step inside, I'm always really wanting to leave. The cashiers seem to have no urgency to help the next guest in line. I was trying to pay for some prints I did online and it seemed as though the cashier couldn't care less to help me. The prints also came out incorrect and the only solution was for me to not pay for my prints and go somewhere else. I hope it was just an off day for the staff. read more

I conducted an online, pre-paid order, and about 1.5 hrs later went to the store. Not only did the cashier's not collect my order, they had no knowledge of it. Then I waited over 30 minutes, and they did not have the item that I had ordered (although the online system said that it was in the store). Then they came back to the counter and had no recollection of me and what I was waiting for, they went about their business, without understanding or solving my problem. They didn't particularly care that I was waiting for 30 minutes or that the item was not found, they went back to socializing. I had to get their attention to suggest other stores (which they should have suggested and then they completely botched the search) and then I had wait an additional 20 minutes for them just to cancel the item. If I could give this place a zero I would! First off, I went yesterday to go pick up my daughter's prescription. The lady at the window, short with dark hair in a ponytail, tells me it's not ready but will be tomorrow after 2 pm. I said okay no problem. I come back the next day. There's already a long line and was instantly confused where it ended because of the way other people were standing. I'm in line and it felt exhausting just standing and waiting til it's your turn. I'd say it took about half an hour til I was next. The blonde lady helps me out and says, "oh I'm sorry. It looks like we are out of stock." I'm trying to be calm and I tell her that I was told it would be ready after 2 pm today. She then proceeds to tell me that she's very sorry and that the consultant would help me out. So I go to the consultation window. I tell the lady that I'm trying to get my daughter's prescription med and was told that you would help me find another place to get it. She then says that the other location closes at 8 and that the other one is at Del Mar. She admits it's far. At this point I'm getting frustrated and I tell her I was told that it would be ready today at 2 pm here. That's why I drove here. She keeps looking at her computer and I'm just done. Then she says I can still help you. I smile at her and say it's okay and I left her still talking because excuse me?! I WAS TOLD THAT MY DAUGHTER'S PRESCRIPTION WOULD BE READY TOMORROW (WHICH IS TODAY) AFTER 2 PM!!!! Could have let me know either by call or text that you guys did not have it/ was out of stock. I was given a dishonest price quote about their Extra Care program when I went to visit my mom in San Diego. Lo and behold, after the cashier actually said, "Oh no. It doesn't cost anything" about 1-2 months later my checking account is charged $5.48 that I wasn't ever really prepared for. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau now and I want my membership in the program cancelled and the $5.48 that was DISHONESTLY and UNKNOWINGLY withdrawn from my account deposited back into my bank account. The worker at the front gave me several looks which made me feel uncomfortable as if she thought I was going to steal or something. After I left, the worker got into a car that seemed to belong to a boyfriend or older brother. The car then spun out and came right in front of me. He threatened me and pressed me about making false allegations about "harassing little girls." The store manager is a very unfriendly and rude person and this story is supposed to be 24 hours but they always close at 10 PM or earlier because this manager will not hire enough staff to keep the store open 24 hours like it is supposed to be. I have never had such an awful experience. Even just in human decency. My doctor called in two medications I needed filled ASAP. One they contacted him about - or claimed they did - but said of course it's easier that I do it. So I call him, get the info and try calling them 20 times. On hold a total of an hour and even 15 mins and counting with their corporate office. So if you need a medication from a PHARMACY, that's vital for after surgery care they don't give you any way to follow up. I cannot physically walk there just to stand and wait without any kind of communication. Without regard to any ethical code they are unorganized and they might as well not have a phone. read more

I used this CVS pharmacy to transfer my prescription from my home pharmacy while I was on vacation. My home pharmacy was so unhelpful while this CVS pharmacy did everything they could to make sure I got my prescriptions. They even called my doctor directly to get the prescriptions! I come here sometimes to get my prescriptions because they have 24 hour service. The staff is always very friendly and the pharmacy very kind and reasonable when it comes to answering your questions. Overall, they have a great selection of all things medication related. I also really like that they have all of your information in their medication system even if you haven't returned for a while. The perks on CVS is that they offer discounts on other items in the store and it makes it convenient if you need to pick something else up. One thing I did notice is that they have a really cool collection of knickknacks near the back left of the store. Some of the stuff you can't really find anywhere else and so it's always cool to go shopping and peruse through that area. An example would be the bulldog house slippers that I saw. read more

i would rate this business below zero. The unscheduling for a multi million dollar monthly pharmacy is truly pathetic. i don't like to ever leave a negative review.
