Very slow service. There is always a long line and only one cashier working at the front counter every time I pick up a prescription.

They did a a good variety of snacks. Lots of chips and jerky. I saw they have the Harvest Cheddar Chips that I like. I'm a fan of Sun Chips, they are whole grain and feel like they are a bit healthier. It may just be an illusion. I like there photo department. I get picture from the often, but their machinery also is down a lot. I get maybe half of the pictures I order. The last mishap was a Father's Day I designed for my husband. I put my order in and they said it was going to be ready then hours later they said their equipment was down and I'll have to pick another location for pick up. I ended up redesigning a card and going to CVS that is by land park which is a 15 min drive or so, but it feels like it takes longer. I like that Walgreens is so convenient and when their photo department actual works it's a good thing. You can also have them ship your order for you free or a minimum fee. That's how I did my wedding photos. I made everyone a little book and had Walgreens ship them to everyone. It was so convenient to have them do the shipping. As I made the books online and didn't even have to go into the store. They have deals through out the year which is nice. They recently had a poster size print for around $1.99. That was a steal. I have also had mouse pads made there. Lots of items are made in-house so it's same day turn around which is really nice. I can totally wait a few hours to get my order.

We waited a bit for our turn and all the staff members we interacted with were helpful and friendly. They have a little private room where they give you the shots and they recommended that I hang around about 15 minutes after to make sure I didn't have a reaction. Luckily they're giving out 20% off coupons when you get a vaccine there so we did a little shopping and grabbed some gatorade before heading out. Whenever I stop into a Walgreens I feel like I'm being transported to the early 2000's, they seem a bit old school and may need a refresh, but I know what to expect.

What a difference a week makes! On 17 October 2025, I posted…read morethat Sacramento's Midtown Target had permanently closed its restroom for customers. Its closing, I wrote, had been ordered by a Ms. Ashley who had just been named the store's new Director. A week later, on 21 October, I returned to Target Midtown -- and the customer restroom was open! It has remained open since, much to the relief not only of customers, but store employees who no longer must turn away people desperate for a restroom. What happened? According to one Target team member, who will remain anonymous, it came down to a lack of communications at the store at 1707 J Street. A day or two before my original posting, Ms. Ashley had introduced herself to Target Midtown's staff. Among other things, she told them she was committed to Target's policy of clean, open restrooms -- and that she would return in November to officially become the Director. Somehow, her words were misunderstood! Believing she had called for closing the customers' restroom, the employees immediately shut it down, when in fact, Ms. Ashley wanted it open! After reading my original posting a day or two after it appeared online, Ms. Ashley tracked down my email address. On 19 October, she sent me an email that said: "I apologize that you were denied access to Target's restroom during your (latest) shopping experience...You should expect to see the restroom open on your next trip into the store. Please reach out to me if that is not the case." In her email, Ms. Ashley indicated she had again spoken to top employees at Target Midtown to clarify matters. "I have reinforced the open-restroom policy with the leaders at the store who are running it until I report in November," she told me in the email. Ms. Ashley apparently found out abut the restroom crisis by reading my Yelp posting. Though I haven't met her, let me say it on the record: Ms. Ashley may be the best Director this Target has ever had. The employees respect her; they like her -- that's what they have told me. Thank you for reopening the restroom, Ms. Ashley! And thank you, Yelp, for posting my words. Target employees told me they, too, are glad the customers' restroom is open again. "It was really difficult to tell guests there no longer was a restroom for them," one Target Team member told me. In closing, I apologize for my delay in posting this follow-up, but I have been extremely busy. Thank you!

It's a pretty impressive feat to consistently create terrible experiences at a Target. I dread…read morehaving to go here, but sometimes I have to because of the location. Here is a summary of why: 1. So much is locked up behind glass cabinets 2. Employees rarely ever come to unlock something when you ask for assistance 3. When I ask for help they make sure to show how much of an inconvenience I am 4. As I was checking out once another employee came up to the cashier and said "make sure to look at that bottom mirror to make sure people aren't STEALING." She was implying I was stealing....? And I clearly wasn't. I was kind of shocked and just said "wow. How convenient and cleaver!" 5. There are many times that items are not stocked, and boxed products are constantly in the middle of the floor, making it harder to get around 6. Once I moved something out of the way to get to the shelf behind it, and an employee showed so much irritation at me and moved it back, indicating I was the problem. 7. Once I asked where something was to an employee, and the woman, without saying a word, flat out gave me the most hateful glare. If looks could kill, man. Trying to intimidate me or something? At Target? Over what?? I felt the need to back up slowly and apologize for bothering her because she seemed very unstable. Who on earth is in charge of these people working here? What are the requirements to be hired? Who is overseeing them and communicating standards? What are the consequences?
