I told my husband about it and he already knew it wasn't the best deal around. I should have asked first, but he wasn't in the car with me. The casher was really polite and helpful. I paid with cash to save a few cents, at least I think I saved. I didn't look at the card price. It's usually more so I think I saved some. When the cashier gave me the receipt he pointed out there was code on it and I would need to enter the code on the pump to activate the pump. That was a first for me. I wonder if that means that I don't need to give them the actual pump number as there is a code attached. I gave them the pump number so I'll never really know. Good to know for next time that this isn't the best deal around. It's not even convenient for me so this is good to know. In other towns the truck stops usually have the best deal around. So, I'm not totally off my game. There are lots of pumps and when I went there was no waiting so that was good.

I personally like the smaller size of the store, feels like a small business, mom and pop type. I've been coming to this location for years, about 20+ to be exact and one of the main reasons I like this location is their coffee station. They always have coffee freshly brewed and during the day they have a nice selection. Crisp Blueberry with French Vanilla creamer is my go to !! If you have not tried it, you must. They also always have a good variety of hot foods ready to go and if you are craving something but don't see it, they'll usually hear it up for you. The owner Bobbie is prideful of her store and it shows with the consistency of great service and product selection.

Oh no!!! We got a new car battery and the car won't stop blinking. The emergency lights just won't…read morego off. The loud alarm wasn't going off, just the emergency lights. And the triangle button wasn't doing anything. We went back to the car shop and inquired what we could do. They suggested that the alarm may be going off. We zipped home and found the key fob that has the alarm button on it. Sadly the fob didn't do a thing. No locking and unlocking the doors, no panic button clicking on and off. Nothing. OMG!!! What to do. We popped it open and the battery looked fine. We haven't used it in 7 years so it should still be working. The battery wasn't corroded so there was no excuse why is wasn't working. Our only guess is it expired. Maybe time drained it. So off to Walgreens we went. In high hopes they had this unique battery size. We brought our expired battery with us. It actually had no expiration date so I should just refer to it as a dead battery. To our pleasant surprise they had it. It looked like a AAA battery but half the heights. We've never seen a battery like it before. Usually in key fobs they use giant watch looking batteries. Those we actually have at home. The batteries were easy to find in Walgreens. Soon as you enter go right and walk past the cash register and on the wall on the right all your batter dreams are hanging. When we found the one we wanted we realized the batteries were locked. By that time a long line at the cashiers had formed. After waiting by the batteries I got in line. When it was my turn she grabbed her key and helped us get our battery. By then the line had subsided and we quickly checked out, put in our rewards number and were on our way. In the car we instantly put the battery in, but it didn't do anything, no light went on or anything. We drove home and now we were in sight of our car we tried it again and the light blinked and the doors unlocked. With another click the doors locked. After that we were on a roll. No more blinking lights and thankfully the issue was solved. We are so blessed that we solved the problem with a single batter and no trip to the dealership. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. She welcomed everyone into the store even as she was busy checking people out. I thought that was a nice touch, the personal welcome. If you are in search of a unique size batter I suggest you check out Walgreens in West Sacramento.

I had one of their Slurpees and honestly, I probably shouldn't have kept drinking it with how "off" it tasted. It was watery and not frozen at all, which makes me think either the Slurpee machine had a temperature failure or it was just broken. The Slurpee tasted weird, the flavor was flat, and I'm pretty sure it gave me food poisoning. Overall, I'd say to avoid coming here. If you do, keep your health in mind and avoid the cold drink machines for your own good.

They fired all of their friendly staff or they quit and were replaced by rude people with no customer service skills and some of them barely speak English. On top of that THE PRICES ARE INSANE!! I can get everything cheaper at EVERY OTHER STORE in the area! I'll walk the extra block to Southside Market or Sam's for friendly people, $2-3 off my cigarettes, and cheaper food and drinks. Not to mention it's not even worth buying food there because you have to check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING. I bought a TV dinner from them once that was expired the year prior. EVEN HAPPENED WITH A PEPSI. You can't even trust their hours. Been there 15-20mins before it was supposed to closed to find it already closed multiple times but after what happened today I'm done.
