After being on hold for the pharmacy for 47 minutes, my call was abruptly dropped. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and ended up speaking to the shift lead. She apologized and noted the pharmacy was short staffed but would call and ask the pharmacy to pick up the line. Spoke with Jessica and she was very helpful and hopefully I will be able to pickup my prescriptions tomorrow I hope to update with another star but will depend on my interaction tomorrow. I truly wanted to only give 1 star but Jessica again was very helpful. read more

Don't get anything printed at Walgreens. I tried to get some grad announcements printed at this location and another. The printers are trash and had lines throughout the entire announcement card. When I complained about it, I was not given any help what so ever. I was basically told "well our printers suck. Maybe don't get stuff printed at Walgreens". ‍ Super unhelpful. I have had a canvas print made and several photo paper prints made that came out just fine. Super dissatisfied with this. They should NOT offer the service if it's going to look like terrible. Horrible customer service. read more

Maybe the worst Walgreens I've ever been to. This one feels particularly unsafe, with shoplifting happening on the regular. The employees could not be bothered to provide good customer service. I placed a same day photo order and it wasn't ready for three days. The staff have lied to me, wasted my time, and ripped me off. When I reported this to the store manager, I received a half assed canned response. Absolute garbage establishment. read more

I picked up 2 prescriptions August 21. The charge was $20. I checked my bank acct later and saw a charge at Walgreens for $105.04. I took a screenshot of my acct and went back to the store. Assistant Manager Tin provided me with a printout from Vision Star Maintenance. I believe it's a software program for the pharmacy (learned that later). Manager Mike thought the charges would fall off. They did not. So it may be that when my credit card was charged, there may have been a glitch. Mike made mention of that. I also filed a complaint against the pharmacy. The Vision Star Maintenance printout clearly shows several charges that, under the heading Action it says "Item void" and under the heading Reason, it says "did not FSA want." I have opened a dispute with my bank. This is so unnecessary because it is apparent that this was not a charge I made. I also had to cancel my credit card because I was advised it could have been compromised. ONE STAR IS TOO MANY FOR A BUSINESS THAT STEALS YOUR MONEY! read more

I would give their photo department 1 star. Took almost three months to get film developed here. The last three times I ordered online I had problems with pick up. First time I got confirmation it was ready, showed up. They couldn't find it. Luckily they just printed there and only took five minutes. Second time I showed up they gave me my pictures from the previous time they couldn't find! Had to tell them those were two months old and not my most recent. Last month I went to pick up and ended up with someone's high school senior portraits mixed in. It's easy because it's close to my house, but seriously terribly managed. I feel bad for the staff dealing with the riff raff. read more

The word is PITIFUL!!!!!!!! The Walgreens on Broadway was by no means perfect but it sure beat this Walgreens Pharmacy. Long hold times on the phone and it takes forever to fill a prescription. Lucky to get it the same day when the doctor calls it in at 9 am. This is no way to run a pharmacy. Where are the pharmacy managers? Doesn't anyone read the reviews. I have to look for another pharmacy. read more

They clearly are stealing drugs and pocketing co pays that are not suppose to be charged !!!! Shady asf place worst service ever from pharmacies!! Never been able to pick up a prescription without at least a 30-minute wait. Their drive thru is out of order and takes just as long even when it's functional. They only have a sign taped to the window, so if you're in line behind multiple cars who didn't read the sign, you're wasting your time. Put a sandwich board or cone outside to block the drive thru if it's OOO. Pharmacy is also very understaffed. read more

Without fail, This pharmacy will text me several times to tell me my prescriptions are ready but when I show up s late as 3 days later they tell me they're "just working on the last one and it will be 15 minutes". Picking up my prescriptions has never been a speedy process. I give them plenty of time to fill them, but they're still not done when I get there. read more

Two stars only because when I've been in there before, the staff are nice. Otherwise, it would be one. Wow. I thought that the now-defunct Broadway Walgreens was bad. Now that it has closed and there are no other Walgreens or Rite Aids in the neighborhood, Freeport Walgreens has become a congested mess. I guess that's what happens when you're in a pharmacy desert? My physician submitted a rather important (and not uncommon) prescription over four days ago. It is still not ready. I wanted another prescription transferred to them--time and again, the phone tree places me on hold for a long time and then hangs up. I tried going there in person--the drive thru line was nine cars deep. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, weekend or weekday, I cannot get through to them unless I have 45 minutes to camp out in line, all to find out that it won't be ready for another day. All of my recurring prescriptions will be transferred to Costco mail order shortly, but that doesn't help for the brand-new ones. Never in my life have I had this much difficulty with prescriptions. read more

Has its own parking lot. Getting out can be more difficult than getting in since it's at the corner of a busy intersection. Not many customers in the afternoon on weekends. A loiterer was shouting somewhere in the parking lot, loud enough to hear from the entrance but not clear enough to distinguish what she was saying. The sliding doors are wonky - the exit door will open for customers coming in, so if you mistakenly enter through that door, you'll bump directly into customers that are leaving. The real entry door only lets customers in, not out - which is normal feature but was a slight inconvenience to those who checked out at the pharmacy or photo center. The staff do not wear masks, and no hand sanitizer was put out for customer use. The seasonal and toy sections were messy, though the rest of the aisles were relatively tidy. Price-wise, it looks like you get a better deal at Target. Aside from convenience and the pharmacy, I don't think there's any particular benefit to coming here over anywhere else for the average customer. The service at checkout was odd. Very short line but long wait. The cashier asked the customer ahead of me if she wanted to sign up with her phone number and turned his monitor to face her so the customer could put in her own details. Strange considering cashiers usually ask the customer and type in the information themselves. It took some time because the customer didn't seem to understand the touch screen and where to place her card for payment. read more

I'm moving my prescriptions from this pharmacy. They are either closed or work at a snails pace. This time I chose walk in but the drive through finished earlier. Seems like it is understaffed or they are conveniently unavailable. When they asked if I had this prescription filled...I said, yes, because I didn't want to have to wait another 35 minutes waiting for a pharmacist consult. read more

This rating is for the online purchase & in store pick up. It takes about 1-2 hrs before they email you that your order is ready for pick up. Curbside pick up was in front of the store which was convenient and easy to spot. The numbers for the curbside pick up spot was there unlike some other locations that don't have it at all which can be confusing when selecting which lot you're in. Once I checked in that "im here" it didn't take long until an employee came out with my order; probably about 2-3 mins. I'd shop here again but online & for pick up only! Prices vary from location to location as I've noticed; so far the prices are insane here for a few products! read more

Call in for the pharmacy and sit on hold for 20 to 30 minutes with many people on hold ahead of you - this happens every time I call. Doctor sent in an order for 3 prescriptions. One was ready quickly, one was ready the next day and one (a narcotic) was held for 6 days as the doctor prescribed it to start on that date. BUT I called that day and was told they would get it ready to pick up later that day and told me it would cost me X dollars as they had not put it in for my insurance. I asked why the prescription was not billed to my insurance and they put it through for my insurance while I was on the phone and said it went through. Within a short time, I got a notification that the insurance was denied. I waited a couple of days for it to be resolved and called them back. They had did NOTHING about the prescription. It ends up my insurance covers 6 per day, which is what the prescription is written for BUT the way that Walgreens puts it in the system is makes it appear that the prescription is for more than 6 per day which the insurance company denies. WTH???? Between this pharmacy not having meds in stock and their total lack of customer service is making me regret choosing this location. Time to find a new pharmacy!! read more

Aubrey Murphy is the manager of this store. Not a good manager at all. Came in as a new manager, no support whatsoever from her. The constant smell of marijuana in the store is a trigger for people in recovery. When I voiced my concerns, I was ignored. When I went in to talk to her being that she is my manager I was just told lies treated unfairly. I would not recommend working at this store hostel environment. read more

Everything that can be improved needs to be improved. Horrible service, extremely long waits in line and on phone. Employees that ignore customers and don't acknowledge that they even see you. Our local Walgreens. What a sad place. People are semi-nice, polite, and helpful, but as one person noted, it is in dire need of a security guard. The homeless situation here is a mess. All these years after my first review, and I dare say the drive through pharmacy has gotten worse. Went yesterday at noon (not a weekend when they close for a lunch break) and there were three cars ahead of me. Waited for five minutes for the first car to finish. The next car got no service at all, for at least 15 minutes! Did they decide to take a break? It was so bad that the person in the car was taking pictures of inside the window with her phone. Luckily, I left some space between me and the car ahead, because there were now at least six more cars waiting behind me. I pulled out of the line, and left. As I went down the street, the first car was still waiting with no service. The drive through is supposed to be a convenience FOR THE CUSTOMER. Walgreens doesn't seem to understand this. read more

Too bad this location is so close to where i live, they almost have to try to lose my business just due to convenience, but they managed. By reading the other reviews its obvious that store has very little leadership and or customer service. I shopped there several times a week until i finally gave ip. Senior pharmacy tech Rupi is a hostile grouch everytime i see him. The final straw was when he started lying about the pharmacy there " no longer sells insulin syringes, only pens! . " Bold faced lie fron a Senior pharmacist. Damn shame Just because he doesnt want to sell them doesn't mean you get to make up your own rules as you go. I care for cat colonies and occasionally went to that walgreens when i needed to buy some syringes short notice to administer their medication. Rupi is definitely not considering "do no harn when he pulls stunts like that He makes up the rules and laws apparently as he goes . I wont be back read more

Nice employees...although if you ask to use their restrooms they lack in helping you in a timely manner. I walked in to buy a few things, I used their changing table for my toddler there was fences smeared all over it, no soap to wash your hands and it seemed as if the restrooms had never been cleaned or scrubbed before. The exit mats are also disgusting. Lacks cleanliness around the store. Whomever runs this location please worry about your consumers health. Was looking for a certain item on Walgreens.com and it it indicated this location had it. It allowed me to order for pickup from this location. I really wanted the item so decided I'd order it and then drive 20 mins (one way) to pick it up. 30 mins after I placed the Order, I get a text and email saying the order was delayed. Didn't say why or how long or estimate of when it'd be ready. I figure I just go there and buy the item off the shelf since the website said they had it. Went there, nope! Not on the shelf! Then had to stand in line to cancel the order. Annoying frustrating waste of time! Why show online that you have the item at the store when you really don't?!? So if I didn't decide to just go there, I'd be sitting at home for who knows how long waiting for their e-mail to tell me that my order can't be fulfilled. All other stores (target, kohl's, ..) actually have the item in stock at the location they say. Won't ever trust Walgreens! read more

The person who identified himself as the store manager, Dave, was observed talking to a co-worker in the back of the store about 3 feet away with his mask lowered and his nose uncovered. He pulled his mask up to interact with customers. A teenager was walking around the store with her mask on her neck, exposing her nose and mouth. Dave said that Walgreens has told them not to do anything about this. I do not wish to go to a store where the manager does not care about the safety of his employees and customers. Mr. Walgreen, I understand that it is Memorial Day, but if you are going to change your pharmacy hours to normal Sunday hours during this holiday...it would behoove you to post a sign. You were supposed to open at 8:00 A.M. I was up bright and early this morning, drove all the way to your store just to be greeted with an ugly metal window. No signs advertising an hour change. No nothing. There were no signs yesterday, either. To top things off, I waited in my car for you to open, only to be attacked by a Jehova's Witness. Who is this Jehova, and why does he think I want to read his "magazine"? One star, because your nice woman at the register was nice to me even though I was being rather bitchy. Two stars, because once I got to the pharmacy, I was out in a jiffy. read more

Very rude customer service, even by their assistant manager with the pony tail. He did not fully understand the situation and seemed annoyed that he was called to assist one of the customers with their photo order. He didn't seem to appreciate the business from customers. Unfortunately, he will need to step his game up and show the rest of the employees what it is meant to have good customer service otherwise they will all follow his lousy attitude. The store layout seems nice and neat however their clearance section seems to be a mumble jumble. The store is now open till midnight instead of 24hrs. I can always count on this place being OPEN no matter what!!! Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Day---Walgreens doesn't seem to believe in celebrating holidays as they are literally open 24/7 365! You wouldn't think it, but this location gets PACKED Christmas Eve and Valentine's Day with all the last minute shoppers! The store is always clean and has everything you could possibly need--hair/makeup, food, toys, As Seen on TV items, photo center, OTC medications, etc. Workers are all super nice and helpful too!! 5/5! The pharmacists there are great too!!! Tho Tran and Navi Atwal are THE BEST PHARMACISTS!!! They always get your prescription out on time and their technicians--Maggy and Rupi--are AWESOME! They even offer flu shots that won't leave your arm sore the next day, have a drive-thru if you're too lazy to leave your car, and are always respectful of your privacy! To Walgreens On November 7th 2019 at approximately 1:30 Pm I went to your location at 1919 Fruitridge Rd. Sacramento CA. I entered the store and was looking for 16oz Colman propane tanks for my heater in my office. I looked on the isle I thought they would be located and didn't see them. So I asked the employee on the next isle. I had a clear bag containing my purchase from Dollar Tree. I noticed the employee was starting at the bag and not listening to my question about the propane tank. I asked him why he was staring at my bad he said he was making sure none of his store products where inside.and I was an occupational hazard. When I asked for the store manager he said he was the manager then I asked for his boss name and he started he is the boss. I left the store angry and discussed and not sure how I will go forward with this incident. First of all I know you have customer service standards and protocol dealing with someone stealing.
