One note: a digital CVS gift card does not work at the self checkout (the payment machine tied to it has no way input the gift card number / PIN). This Walgreen's has been my go-to pharmacy for about ten years. I changed to a mail-order pharmacy…read morefor a couple of years but switched my RXs back to Walgreen's because I can go to the pharmacy counter and speak face-to-face with either a pharmacy tech or a pharmacist when I have a concern or a problem. That is so much better than dealing with someone on a phone in a cubicle in some other part of the world. The Walgreen's app is easy to use and very helpful, and it allows the pharmacy to send a text or email when my RX is ready to be picked up. This is a busy pharmacy so sometimes ther may be a short wait to get to the front of the pickup line, but the service is always worth the short wait. The only negative for me is picking up an RX via the drive-through. That seems to be a little too time consuming, but if I was a parent who had kids in the car with me and didn't want to come into the store I think the drive-through would be a good feature.
