He's pretty darn impressive. Recently, the pharmacy, as usual, was short staffed. While waiting in line, I watched Chuka move from customer window to customer window (4 all together) to service the standing customers. He'd not only wait on a particular standing customer, but start whatever process is needed to fulfill the customer's request, then touch base with the other standing customers with updates on their requests. Wow! If I was doing something like that, I'd probably look manic and stressed. Instead, I watched Chuka do all this calmly and in an unrushed way, but still very efficiently gave continued communication to each customer, while their requests were being all fulfilled. I wonder if he's ever tried juggling: I bet he'd be really good at it. Better yet, he probably meditates regularly On a side note: please fix your lotto machine! It's always down.

This isn't a pharmacy. It is THE pharmacy. I called FIVE SEPARATE pharmacies and no one had my medicine, but that challenge is no match for this land of milk and honey! No, the Marina Del Rey Pharmacy stood there as the valiant warrior we all wish we could be, fighting for our customer service and the availability of our medicines. They had my prescription ready SAME DAY when all others couldn't even promise a week. I love this pharmacy so much I might even name my firstborn child after it. Not to be dramatic, but I would die for the Marina Del Rey Pharmacy. I've even heard rumors that your third visit gives you super powers. Also, the staff is super nice and chill, plus they've got really good prices and a solid inventory, so 10/10 definitely recommend this place

It truly feels like a community neighborhood small business and I'm so happy I found it! I will say just as a heads up, the one drawback is that they do do not let you know when your prescriptions are ready so you do need to follow up. For me, it's a small price to pay.

Upon arrival, I was told there was an insurance issue. Even when I offered to pay out of pocket, I was refused service because the manager wasn't there, and the staff member stated she "doesn't really work there." I was told to come back in a few days for my medication--but I was in pain and needed it immediately. I repeatedly explained that I was in pain and needed assistance. The employee initially refused to call my insurance, saying they wouldn't pick up their call, and only after I insisted multiple times did she make the call--at which point the issue was resolved immediately, and my medication was approved. As a patient fresh out of a three-hour dental procedure, I should not have had to spend 40 minutes pleading for someone to do their job simply because the manager wasn't present. It's unacceptable that a patient in pain must beg for help or know a manager's schedule in order to get a prescription filled at this location.
