I had placed this order with a different CVS on Mindanao Way, they called me last minute this morning to tell me they could not fulfill my photo order. I went ahead and placed a new order with this CVS and called them to ensure they could fulfill the order as it is Mother's Day and I knew it would be busy. I called and explained to Joanna what had happened and she said they could fulfill the order and would call me back. She called me back within 5 minutes to tell me they were fulfilling the order and bumping me to the top because of the experience I had had with the other CVS. I know it is a busy day because it is Mother's Day, but I appreciate so much the care and concern they both took. I want to say a special thank you to Joanna for going out of her way and then calling me back again to tell me my order was ready. I arrived at the store at 1:31 pm to pick up my son's prescriptions. The young woman at the pharmacy said she was closing and would not serve me. I said I had driven 30 minutes to get to the store, she shrugged. I said "thanks a lot" she said "you're welcome" She could have apologized or told me she'd be back after lunch. She did neither. Apparently they're too incompetent to realize that when you're walking out of either the Ralph's or the cvs I'm actually a customer. They aren't the smartest. But not my issue. I'll find a different market and pharmacy to patronize since the management of the park lot has their heads up their asses. I had to get my medication filled immediately do to the fact that I was traveling within the next hour. My cvs said it would take to long. This CVS pharmacy bills my insurance $400 for an exact medication I can buy at Costco for $35. Sure my copay is low but I don't like CVS gouging my insurance company, which is only going to pay for the royal screwing by raising my premium. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to reach a live body via phone. They advertise they deliver. Be careful as they mail the meds to you the next day. I though delivery was delivery via some type of vehicle. I am now waiting 4 calendar days to receive the narcotic pain killer for my severely injured foot. CVS does not stand for consumer value store. It stands for consumer vulture store. read more

I needed a glucose meter that I couldn't find at the MDR location. I came to this shopping center initially to make a 2nd trip to the 24-hour Starbucks, but I ended up stopping at this CVS in hopes of location the much needed meter. I found it! As I was checking out, the cashier was laughing, saying the Christmas items were just reduced to 75% off from the previous 50% off. He also mentioned gift sets, which perked my ears up. I ended up finding a gift set I wanted and had not seen anywhere - the Chips Ahoy ice cream sandwich set. I was able to purchase the glucose meter and $75 worth of merchandise for an additional $10. I was going to tender $34 at the register just for the meter, but with the 75% off markdown and the $10 off of $40 coupon I tendered, which would have expired today, I was able to get two large bags worth of merchandise for $43. Unbelievable! (Haul pictured.) Jose and Lara/Laura were so helpful and so kind. If not for them, the other 2 customers and I who were buying the store out while the rest of the world slept never would have known that the additional markdowns were in effect. An employee led me to this restroom :) lovely right? i grabbed a manger and he was unbelievably rude when i asked him to take a look at the restroom after refusing to let me and another girl use the employee restroom real quick. He then brought a broom and offered to "sweep real quick" for us. I have never run faster out of an establishment. Completely unacceptable and to whoever is managing the floor today, good luck! I guess "Nessy" doesn't understand that they are in a professional medical setting and they should act in a professional manner. I really wish that management would train their people better but I have a feeling that management doesn't really care, seeing as how they're so many 1 stars with no replies or apologies. This CVS store is one of the larger ones. It's located on Sepulveda right outside of the LAX airport. There is a large parking lot, but parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the large Ralphs store, the Robeks Juice, the Petco, the Tuesday Morning, and the Starbucks. Employees here, especially Angela, are very helpful and courteous. Prices are t ypically 10-20% higher than your average store, because of their location. I like this store's photo department, as they are pretty quick to get orders out. read more

OPTICAL DEPT!!! This location has an optical department where you can make an apt and have your vision checked and order glasses of which they have a nice selection. During COVID, you may only try on frames with the staff's help so they will sanitize each before and after. My review is for Tien who went above and beyond to assist me with replacing nose pads on my glasses (which I didn't purchase from there). She was polite and went out of her way to help me and to top it off, I wasn't charged for the nose pads! She is the best!!! read more

This was my last trip to CVS - I am done with the appalling rudeness of the pharmacy staff. The pharmacist is fine, but the clerks seem to take every question as a monumental inconvenience. They are rude, snarky and just plain disrespectful. We have choices of where we get our prescriptions filled - and CVS is no longer our choice. Really convenient location. If you need anything healthcare item before your flight or after you arrive, this is the place to get it. From tissues and toiletries to vitamins and OTC stuff, it certainly is cheaper than the airport stores. Most of the time I've been here, it's during the evening hours and the staff is super nice and efficient during checkout. The store itself is a decent size. It used to be a Long's before the acquisition by CVS. It's pretty clean and parking is easy. Since it's right next to Ralphs, you can hit two stores with a single stop. Cvs has the best coupons and reward program! The prices are a bit higher than your average store but if you pay attention to the specials you can save big! Store is stocked with all my beauty and medicine needs. I NEVER get food here because it's overpriced and expried. I always have a friendly cashier and they are helpful. This CVS is conveniently located next to Ralph's, nearby Chase Bank, and some local restaurants. Not far from the airport and In & Out Burger either. They have varieties of selections but I find them overpriced. They do have sale every now and then, unfortunately we never had a chance to take advantage of their coupons. Customer service is okay, nothing great or anything memorable. Although they could be a bit nicer and welcoming. read more

There's usually not much to say about drugstores like CVS. Usually you go in, grab a thing or two, get out, simple. This particular CVS screws that up nine out of ten times. I can't tell you how many times I stood in a line for over fifteen minutes just to check out, because this is a busy location with horribly slow cashiers. And if that weren't bad enough, they're unprofessional as well. I remember one visit checking out behind an older man who was trying to use the Western Union service. Something went wrong with his transaction, and after walking away upset the cashier proceeded to berate him to me in an expletive-dotted rant. Not cool. Basically, if you need to grab a couple things and get out quick, don't expect that here. And whatever you do, don't come in during the holiday season... trust me. read more

I tried to buy some shampoo and laundry detergent using both my manufacturer's coupons and digital coupons. This CVS store does not let you use manufacturer's coupons along with CVS digital coupons and will also not let you use printed coupons while other CVS stores allow this. This is NOT part of CVS coupon policy but this specific store makes their own rules. The cashier, who was about 18 years old was very rude to me despite the fact that I make 3x as much money as he does have 4x the education as he does and make. This is perhaps the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. Allow me to explain ... I moved last March and this particular CVS turned out the most convenient pharmacy for me. But that convenience came with a large price: complete and total ineptitude. I have never had a prescription filled or refilled here that they didn't somehow screw up. For example, they once had me living in San Diego. They consistently mix up which doctor wrote which prescription for me. They "forget" to contact doctors for refills. Etc. etc., etc. Today was the final straw. Last week I called in a refill for an Rx. I was out of refills, so the pharmacy said they would contact my doctor and have a new Rx validated. Days went by without the prescription being ready. Yesterday, I called this pharmacy to inquire as to the state of readiness of the script. I was told that they'd contacted the doctor several times, but there was never a response. So I called the doctor myself. They stated that they had never been contacted by CVS. As this is the third time this has happened to me with this pharmacy, I believe the doctor's office, not them. Today I was finally able to pick the Rx up, always a $2.60 co-pay. Uh-uh. $91.00! To their chagrin I protested loudly. Turned out that they billed an insurance company I hadn't used in TEN YEARS! Last straw. I will NEVER get a prescription refilled in this den of idiot's again. And advise that you do the same. read more
