Busy CVS with too many people during certain hours to be a safe place during flu season to go. Friendly hard working employees who don't seem to get a break. This has got to be the worst Petri dish of all drug store I have been in. Everyone stands in one long line between two aisles sick and some coughing waiting to pick up a prescription. Over and over I let my best friend send me here for his meds and now I'm getting sick! Last time I tried standing to the side waiting while keeping my eye on my spot - but some person rushed in to my area coughing - wtf. When time to ring up the prescription they repeatedly demand you touch the same keypad answer multiple questions. Normally you'd want to just tap the card reader and not go near the keypad - but they need confirmation - so urge you to keep touching the same gem filled key pad every sick person had all day. No sanitizer next to it!! Plus air felt heavy. Yea Gross gross and grosser still . Knew I was going to pick ups something from this last run - so mad I didn't insist he use another store not so crowded. They are so busy they won't care- but this would be the right place to do curbside pick up. read more

Never again. The pharmacy had all week to fill my prescriptions and they still are not ready waiting here for them as it gets busier nobody here knows how to do their job. Worst cvs location to get your medicine. read more

i generally only go to the cvs when filling prescriptions or if I need the Minute Clinic. The pharmacy staff is great, very knowledgable and always very helpful. I have always had a good experience at this particular cvs. read more

This pharmacy for us, is exactly how one should be. Our daughter and the mad Russian get there vitamins and prescriptions filled here and I never seem to have a problem with refills or pickups. Avoid coming when the rest of the world does to avoid long waits in line at the pharma counter or the front desk. After we lost the photos of our daughter for her Passport and had an upcoming appointment at the post office, they were both able to take and print a new set within 15 minutes. We were able to keep our appointment and now the baby can travel for the holidays and have the world as her oyster... Some pretty good deals await you if you have there rewards/loyalty card. I have had receipts almost 300 feet long with coupons that cover items we most likely buy- or off our bill. I always forget to bring them, of course, but it's nice when I actually do remember. This is our go-to pharmacy, and while there are others closer to home, we choose to come here. read more

The pharmacy manager had the audacity to lecture me at length about giving bad reviews on the supposedly anonymous little surveys CVS emails you after your visit, going on about "corporate" and his "bonus" (like I care if that pencil neck geek gets a bonus). I finally switched all my prescriptions to Village Pharmacy across the street. read more

Though the employees seem to be working hard, this store is terribly understaffed. It is also the dirtiest and messiest CVS I've ever visited. There also aren't any self checkout facilities which would be fine if there was more than one cashier. I'm very glad that I do not need to rely upon this filthy store -- for anything! read more

Every time I come here to pick up prescriptions, the wait is ridiculous. I exclusively use CVS, and this one is consistently the worst in regards to wait time. They need to hire more people for the pharmacy department, it is outrageous for the line here to be as long as it always is. read more

Absolutely disgusting what I witnessed today at this location. While everyone is seemingly trying to stop the spread of Covid-19, the staff in the pharmacy doesn't seem to care. I watched three employees handle my medicine in the packaging with out gloves. The employee who checked me out even had the audacity to hand me my medications with out gloves. R I P O F F expensive ! I mean off the charts expensive. DO NOT buy food items here. A container of Kraft Parmesan Cheese was $6. 59 (at Target it's $3.79. At a normal supermarket it's $4.29. In a rip-off supermarket like King Kullen it's $5.29 -- so here it's BEYOND a rip-off. . . you see!) . RIP OFF !!!!!!!!!!! Hagen Daas was like $5.79 or more. They know DEMOGRAPHICS. Have been going to this CVS for 9 years and was waiting for about a half hour to merely drop off a few RXs. When I asked for a manager, the manager JC didn't like that I interrupted him and he became verbally abusive saying "that's it you're on your own" and then he waked away. Several customers behind me also were upset and said they're done with CVS and that they would go across the street to Village Pharmacy. I will make sure JC's supervisors are aware of this unbelievably rude treatment of a regular customer. I have never been seen such unprofessional behavior by a manager and that says a lot. Long waits are common at CVS but the pharmacist and store manager clearly are in over their heads. read more

Worst CVS in the area. Workers are rude and slow. I was looking for a pill box and asked this woman rearranging the shelf, she gave me a dirty look as if I'm interrupting her then looked away without answering. Then another worker at another isle directed me. As I was checking out at cash register, a customer next to Megan a question about his bill. The cash register worker was he asking it but worker from my register start getting involved and start yelling at the elderly customer. Ignoring everyone else wearing on line, she then doesn't next 5 minutes arguing with this customer. I only go to this location because it's the closest one for me but I'd rather drive 20 min to go to different CVS or Walgreens to avoid these rude and mean and unreasonable workers. The pharmacy is filled with hard working and friendly staff 24/7. For any complainers, it's probably people like you, who always find something to nag about, you're the reason it takes a long time to check out. I would agree that the front of the store could use more people to work, little understaffed. Usually very satisfied there, hope you are too! read more

This is the slowest, most understaffed pharmacy. Since my little one started daycare, we've been sick quite often, so I have a lot of experience here. I just waited in line over half an hour only to be told that my prescription (a very common antibiotic for upper respiratory infections) was not yet ready. People sitting in chairs on the side said they waited over 40 minutes for prescriptions that they were told would take 5-10 minutes. When the woman at the register told me mine would take 5-10 minutes, I asked her if it would really take that long. She admitted that it actually would probably take longer... Lots of people are waiting in an extremely long line only to be told that their prescriptions have not been filled. Another day a few weeks ago, I tried to get in here to pick up a prescription and rushed to make it before the pharmacy closed. They had closed the gates almost about 5-10 minutes early. That being said, I would assume it's probably because the people behind the pharmacy counter are so overworked and backed up, because they are so understaffed. Management or corporate needs to step in and make sure there are enough people working the pharmacy. It's the most important part of the store. read more

purchased a 6 dose box of Borion Oscilloccinum for $17.49 not including tax.. I mentioned to the cashier that the same product size was $9.99 at Harmon Drug. He said nothing, no explanation, I asked if they matched pricing, no reply........ no high marks for me on CVS pricing or customer service. read more

This store saved me. I was running late to work one morning, and didn't have time to fetch my lighter, so I had to buy one for work. Thankfully, they had a supply behind the counter, and furthermore, the very helpful associate also allowed me to use the restroom. The store is conveniently located across from the train station parking lot, and the hours are a boon. I highly recommend this store and the very gracious young man who helped me Thursday morning around 7am. Management should read this and give him a raise. read more

Manager refuses to allow customers to use the bathroom, claiming that it is only for patients of the doctor's office.

I went into the CVS pharmacy in my old home town of Syosset. I had to go to the bathroom rather urgently. When I asked where the bathrooms were, I was treated like a transient and was told that they had no bathrooms for the public. When I told the girl at the register that I would buy something, she pointed me to the back of the store and was very rude about it. I could not find a bathroom and just went to the doughnut shop instead. You would think that a pharmacy that treats patients would have a bathroom available to the public. What is a pregnant lady came in, or someone with crones condition walk in. Bad service and attitude. read more
