Charmane rudely telling me I was at the pick up line for a drop off when the drop off looks like this. Is very combative and unwelcoming.

no longer a 24/7 store

Open 24 hours? Think again. This store has cut its hours from 24/7 to 12/7, 9am to 9pm everyday, with the pharmacy closing at 8pm on weekends. The only reason to come here is to obtain medicine from a doctor's prescription at the pharmacy. My provider is Kaiser Permanente, so I can go directly to the pharmacy at Kaiser to get my medicine, and get my refills done online, with the medicine mailed to me. This store is a direct competitor to Walgreens. However, Walgreens is slightly closer to my house, and has a better selection of chocolates on sale, and has 1 hour photo development. Like Walgreens, CVS is like a mini grocery store, with canned goods, snacks, refrigerated items selling at Hawaii prices. $2 for an 18 ounce can of Progresso soup, or $4 for a half gallon of milk. And those were on sale items. 18 ounce can of Campbell's chunky soup is $4. 46 ounces of V8 vegetable juice $4. The prices become more glaring, when compared to the Dollar Tree 200 feet on the other side of the shopping center. And like Walgreens, and Dollar Tree, all the shelves full of hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper have been cleaned out by hoarders in panic buying in the age of the coronavirus, before the limits of 1 per customer were put into place. And even then, a 6 mega roll of Charmin Bath tissue goes for $12. Granted, it's 400 sheets of 3 ply toilet paper, and cheaper than using the San Jose Mercury News as toilet paper, which charged me $568 for 6 months. And that was single ply paper. I had a 30% off coupon good up to $100 in purchases, not good on sale items, and not good on milk, due to state law of price controls on milk. I gave it to a passerby in the store. I'm sure the homeless guy in front of the store would have thrown it away, as worthless, or used it as toilet paper.

The doctor was super discriminative, unfair, and unprofessional. We scheduled an appointment at the CVS clinics, waited 1h+, and the doctor canceled our appointment right in front of us, simply because the staff doesn't like us. The other people in the store expressed their support but could help with nothing. This doctor/nurse, she doesn't care about anything other than her own feelings. We demand that the store fire this doctor/nurse for her ruthless actions.

This place is like the best just cause it's a 24hours store and if you need something just come here. Ok.

This CVS branch is okay. The staff are not as attentive as they should be, store is not organized either. The lines are always very long!

I spent 1.5 hours here trying to sort out and get a prescription. The system and process is obsolete and I had to stand in 5 lines 5 times.

Waiting time is terrible. How much time does it take to pick some medicines and put them in one bag? 1 minute. Here takes 30 minutes.

There are always a number of people in the background, doing not sure what but only a couple of people helping with the pickup. When there is a long line and there is one every time, no one opens up another counter to help. I dread going here because I feel like years of my life are wasting away, standing in line. Any of the above would be bearing if the people working there were efficient or even great to deal with. I left a message at one time and their answering message says that they will call back within a period of time, I waited almost a day before calling them again and when I asked about the timing, the pharmacist said, with heavy attitude, that she had called me back and my inbox was full and she could not leave a message, I have 5 messages in my inbox! There are 2 lines to form to pick up prescriptions, one regular and a fast land for mobile check in. The last time I was there, standing in the regular line and it took the person in front of me over 20 minutes to pick up her prescriptions! The person helping her would walk off, find something, it was wrong and she would go start that all over again or she was not able to find the prescriptions! She didn't ask for help, just kept walking around the tiny space trying to find the poor women's prescriptions. The fast lane was open, with no one in line, and I went there to pick up my prescription and the person helping, she was one of the pharmacists said that this is a fast land and I had to go back to the regular lane, there was no one in that lane!!!!! There are signs posted asking people to be kind to the pharmacy staff - probably because they are so inefficient and rude that people get frustrated It's too bad that there are not many other choices. I wish I could take my business elsewhere!

First off, the staff has always been as helpful as they can under the circumstances. They return my…read morecalls quickly and answer questions well. I don't envy what they're going through and appreciate their professionalism. Unfortunately, our ability to fill prescriptions has been wildly inconsistent -- no clear dates for when out-of-stock medications will come in (or they move further and further out as the new date approaches). My partner has had to go without critical medication (and be left recovering from the gap for weeks) on multiple occasions. We'd switch pharmacies, but haven't had much luck elsewhere, either. It's hard to understand why there's seemingly no urgency from the company around keeping regular/daily meds that have been taken successfully for years in stock. We also have to strategize around when to show up, since the store is usually understaffed and certain time periods (especially on any side of commuting hours) tend to involve long lines that are hard to bear if you're not able to stand for sustained periods of time.
