Even when limitations exist, clear communication and compassion help build trust and reinforce the patient-provider relationship. I've been on the same meds and dose for years but this is the first time a pharmacist has actually pulled me aside to check that I wasn't experiencing any adverse effects due to the combo of meds I'm on that increase the risk for certain cardiac issues. It's not that they weren't as busy here as other pharmacies, it's that they just care enough to take an extra minute out of the day to be sure they're doing right by their patients.
