The worst pharmacy I have ever been in. Long waits. Drive through wait is just as long. I went in twice to get a flu shot both times out of the regular flu shot. Never again. Does anyone love their pharmacy? read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. Unless you want your credit card number stolen. I went into this pharmacy last night around 9:30 to purchase one thing. A lady checked me out at the register closest to the door. I went home and went to bed. I woke up to about 18 charges on my credit card from gas stations all over CA. Their machine and/or their employee stole my credit card information. I went through the normal process with my cc company, and it will get resolved. However, when I called the store to let them know, they could not care less. At first Steve, the manager, was apologetic. But when I asked what he was going to do about it, he seemed confused. Like there was nothing he could do. Went like this: Steve:"I'll tell my employees to check ids and watch purchases more carefully". Me: "Don't know what good that is going to do but ok." Steve:"If you call the authorities we will cooperate." Me: "I should hope so, but don't you want to call the authorities to get to the bottom of what happened? Don't you want people to feel safe making purchases there? Because at this point I do not." Steve: "I mean I'll tell my employees to be on the look out of suspicious activity" Great, I feel much better now. Don't shop here, it's not worth it. read more

Vacationing need a prescription filled. My doctor called it in for me. I gave them 4 hours before I want to pick it up. I was told by the pick up counter that they didn't have my perception and had no idea where it was. They asked to go back to the drop off counter and ask there? REALLY? I went to the drop off counter where the pharmacy tech was talking on the phone on a headset to the drive thru. The tech told me they didn't show me in the system? I called my doctor who said they called in the prescription at 7 that morning. I went back to CVS where I waited 20 more minutes for them to fill the prescription. While morning of my last day of vacation wasted. Rude Unprofessional Not the brightest pharmacy. read more

San Clemente store on los mares. Horrible experience - long lines and prescription not ready - even after I called and asked how long it would take. Look for another pharmacy. read more

This review varies. Most of the time, the employees are super helpful and their customer service is on point. The pharmacy techs are also super friendly and help out when they're on their slow times. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of a woman who deserves like a 5/5 for being outstanding and friendly and ULTRA helpful. She's short with curly blonde hair and is THE BOMB. Always willing to upsell me on stuff I actually need and always at the best deal. However, sometimes I deal with real sour people like Aeriala? She's a woman with jet black hair who hasn't taken a lesson in customer service or smiling or anything. She seems bothered when I ask her any questions about items. Super unprofessional. read more

I was a little cautious coming here based on low reviews. However, they were VERY friendly and service oriented. No less than three employees asked me if I needed help and would walk me to the area I needed. Plenty of employees and they were extra helpful! read more

This place is terrible. They screw up everything. I stood in line behind about 5 people twice in the past two days. There was a problem with every single customer. Ridiculous. When I dropped off the prescription, they told me it would take 30 minutes. I come back the next day and it's not ready. Had to wait another 10 minutes after my 20 minute wait in line. read more

The pharmacy here is a joke. I had to wait nearly 20mins just to drop off my prescription. They obviously need more people.

Super unorganized pharmacy. I've had an issue with Rx nearly every time. Dr's office had to call THREE TIMES and speak to three different people to approve a refill for folic acid. Thankfully this wasn't one of my important heart meds. Also, I had a Rx for EIGHT penicillin pills. And they filled SEVEN. Really? You can't even count to eight properly? read more

The pharmacy in this store STINKS!! My prescription is NEVER ready and quite often they have no record of it. Today they showed me that their fax transmissions to my doctor from them never went thru... Did they bother to follow up on this? No, they failed. I spent two days on the phone between my doctors office and these nitwits. My doctor and his staff (whom I completely trust) even called with the authorization for a refill. Did they have any record of it? No, again they failed. As a consequence I will spend a very uncomfortable weekend with a bulging eardrum and sore throat. Thanks for nothing. read more

Used to LOVE CVS, although the one on Los Mares is way too busy for getting scripts filled.. This one, downtown San Clemente has a pharmacy tech there who will completely ignore you no matter WHAT. I stood in front of her and watched her play around with papers, while holding my prescription for about 15 minutes one time. I finally left, walked across the street to Rite Aid, and had my prescription filled within 10 minutes. They rock (Rite Aid). This lady looks kind of vampire-like, and obviously hates her job! read more

Calling in a prescription should not be so difficult. The staff here is unreasonably rude, calling in an RX will get you placed on hold for about 30 minutes - if you're not hung up on before then. Multiple times they have picked up my line and immediately slammed me on hold again with no warning. Staff don't know how to look up a veterinarian properly. Clients have called multiple times upset because this pharmacy has not processed a request, or to say how terribly they were treated. Serious restructuring needs to happen at this location. read more

I dread going to this pharmacy every time. I've never gotten out of there without a problem with a prescription, and it is NEVER a quick trip like it should be. A couple of the employees are nice...sometimes. Other times I feel like I'm a big inconvenience to their day which sucks. Having worked in customer service myself for years, I know it shouldn't be like that. I get dealing with shitty people & everything but it can't possibly be that every single person they deal with this THAT shitty that they treat the rest of the customers like this. Meh. read more

Always friendly and helpful! I really appreciate when the lines build up that they will always open up another register.

Worst pharmacy ever. Still don't have my medication 4 days after I requested it. Now I'm two days without it due to Cvs lack of follow through. Can't get them on the phone, didn't call when they could t get my medication but didn't tell me till my friend tried to pick it up because I'm feeling sick!! Very dangerous when you are playing with lives like this. read more

Worst pharmacy in town. Theres always 5-6 people working in the pharmacy and it's always at least a 20-30 minute wait. The most incompetent staff as well, there's always an issue with a prescription when I pick up and need to wait or come back when the issue is resolved. Ive been coming here out of convenience since it's close to where I live but at this point it I need a new pharmacy. read more

I dread walking into this store. I know they will not have what I want, will not have what they texted me is ready and will not know how to fix it. To pick up a recurring prescription takes a minimum of two visits and sometimes 4. Only one of the clerks who works in the pharmacy is competent, the rest are always new or barely there. And, I only keep using them because my insurance has a deal with them. I wish they cared. Ann Bailey read more

Please please please DO NOT go to this pharmacy!!!! They put a blood pressure pill in my infants prescriptions thank god I caught it and told them about it. Then they only gave me a 10 day supply that was supposed to be for 30 days! What a mess with insurance and transferring the prescription. Also a woman working the drive through literally threw oral syringes in the basket in annoyance that I asked for them. I was nothing but nice to her and so was so incredibly rude to me. She couldn't get past the fact that my child was so young she asked me her birthdate 3 times! I've been going to CVS locations all over for years and never have I experienced such unprofessionalism. Please do not go here. The wait times are incredibly long on the phone then would be helped and put on hold then different people would pick up asking how to help. So unorganized stay away from here. read more

I will NEVER use this pharmacy ever again. The girls that work in it are unbelievably rude, The wait time is ridiculous, and overall I have never had a pleasant experience in my years of going here,, I just used it because the drive through made it convenient. Switched to the cvs pharmacy in target and I love it. If I had the girls name who "helped" me I'd call and complain that's how rude she was. Never giving them my business again. read more

Every time I come here, I leave frustrated! The drive through lane should be just that: "drive through" not drive up, stop, park, and wait 15 minutes for you script to be ready. Single parents with children do not want to drag their child in the store after a long day or sit in the car for 20 minutes waiting for the one car in front of them with a very impatient child. There is ONE person that knows what they are doing in this location, all others must have been "dipping into the supply" and are completely clueless. If you like CVS, I recommend the location in San Clemente on Los Mares NOT N. Camino Real. Full of junkies and losers. read more

It's bad enough there are no CVS pharmacies open 24:7 in South Orange County, California. Now, I come I for a scheduled pick-up of a prescription and they don't have enough in stock. I mentioned something to the assistant manager, Gerard Quezada and he just smiles and looks out the door. Didn't bother to look into the problem or give me any attention to hear a customer complaint. When my voice raises with angry comments, he says, "have a nice day". I used to work for Eckerds, in management, and they were bought by CVS. Customer concerns were taken seriously. Customer service is what company's build return customers on.I am transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. A pharmacy where customer service and customer service reflect the excellent management. read more

Geez us! Hire more people will ya. The lines are crazy long and I'm sorry but if you call in, no one should be kept on hold for 15 minutes anywhere! I feel bad for the employees who are always getting bitched at for the wait. C'mon CVS fix it! read more

Ugh...I don't fault the employees. They are working their butts off,and probably tired of the constant lines and workload, but waiting on hold for 23 minutes now to ask a question on a prescription. Gotta do better than that, no matter what. read more

When I first moved here I thought CVS overall was a great place to get your prescriptions and pick up a few things you need along the way. That was until I went to this CVS. The pharmacy is the worst I have ever experienced. I have started timing them on how long it takes to get my prescription. One night I sat in the drive thru for 28 minutes before the lady even realized I was there. Then she was defensive and told me I should've pushed the buzzer. I didn't know they had one, because I've never needed to use one before. She was standing right in front of the window working and I know a buzzer or bell goes off whenever someone pulls up because I have heard it when I've gone in to pickup instead of using the drive thru. The shortest amount of time has been 18 min. I only use this CVS because it's the closest to home. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The pharmacy is so ridiculously slow and inefficient, I'm wondering how medicated the employees are. It's like this all the time. Seriously. This is the last time I come here. read more

This is the best Pharmacy in San Clemente. Very friendly and professional. They care about the customers and are working very hard. Had to get prescription filled and was ready very quickly. Thanks for you service. read more

this is long overdue!!!! they need more hepl!!!!!!!they over work there employee's in the pharmacy!!!! everytime i have been here in the last year it (and i am here at least once a month there is always 30 minute just for pick-up!!!!or the rx is not ready!!!! they are always nice but i am sooooo over it!!!!!! read more

Terrible service. Often takes hours to get a prescription filled but they say "just come back in about 30 minutes." We've been called to pick up a prescription and then been told that they didn't have enough pills. If you can go elsewhere, maybe to another CVS, do that. Just steer clear of this place whatever you do. read more

I wish I could give this place a huge 0! This is the second attempt in one day I tried to pick up my prescription and had to wait 20 minutes each time!!! I am never coming back and will be switching immediately! read more

I agree with some of the other reviews. The staff has been nice but they really need to redo the drive through. I scraped my front tire trying to get close enough. Also given the outside appearance and beer bottles we don't feel comfortable going here after dark. read more

Very sweet, polite customer service where they always remember me; the process Workers Comp prescriptions more rapidly than other pharmacies I have tried and I feel they do a great job at getting through the lines quickly. I also like the text messages they send and if the message says it's ready, it's ready. The Drive thru service is a bit of a problem because the window worker also helps the counter and the phones. It might be better to station someone at the window to solely work the window, but then when the window traffic is slow have this person help, but then, sure enough, someone would have to wait at the window! Maybe have "window hours"? Anyway, I will defend these workers, they do a good, friendly job, even when it's busy. My review of CVS Dana Point is not so great. I moved from San Clemente to Dana Point, and the level of service is night and day! It's almost worth it to drive to San Clemente for the better service! read more

Ok so I feel they're getting a bad wrap. Do you see how busy they are people? Come on its not brain surgery to realize they are constantly moving to fulfill all those orders. Every time O go in for my sons meds, they are ready and courteous. There's one or two girls that need to brush up on customer service but Tanya is great, and so is the actual pharmacist. Just try and see the other side. There's insurance and doctor's they're waiting on as well. This is my face pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is always out of my meds. They don't keep up on their pill counts. The wait is way longer then it should. They don't care about their customers. It seems like they're busy when really they have no idea what they are doing. I don't recommend this pharmacy at all! You'll end up getting stressed out! Costco or Target is way better then this. read more

Pretty much the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Many times, customers are in line to pick up their prescriptions and they have one person helping the drive-through as well the walk up window. And they always say, "we'll be right with you"! So they are friendly enough, but that doesn't help the customer from standing in line for 20 - 30 minutes. Also, the drive up pharmacy window is a joke. No matter how close you get to the window, you can't get close enough. Everyone gets out of their car to reach the sliding retractable drawer to complete their transaction and retrieve their prescription! And the speaker never works so the employee opens the drawer to stick their head in the opening to talk to the customers. Such a class act! So you might as well pack a lunch and enjoy the ride. read more

Pharmacy filled my prescription incorrectly. I had high fever and really struggled to wait for them to fill my medication. I asked how long it would take to correct as I was very sick. I said, 'If it will be longer than 20 minutes, I can go home and send a friend to pick it up" The pharmacy reception said, " I don't know, it will be ready when it is ready, we are busy". I told her ,"I am so sick I can barely stand. Can you just estimate the time". She replied, " It will be ready when it is ready...you can sit down if you want".... No compassion. read more

Five stars to the employees! The three stars is for corporate of CVS. I'm so ticked off when I read any nasty comments about the staff. It's not their fault if lines are long and they have to deal with so much more than you can comprehend. The drive-through makes it really hard when you've got one person or even two that has to deal with all of it. Doctors and their assistants don't call in things when they're supposed to, insurance companies turn things down and everything's on them and it's not their fault the insurance companies turn things down it's not their fault their doctors nurses or assistants don't call things then when they're supposed to but normally the customers think it's all their fault. And they're working so darn hard every time I'm in there I feel bad for them but they manage to still smile and be nice. They don't get paid even close to what they should be getting for how hard they work. The problem with CVS isn't the management at the store its upper management its corporate they don't care they never have. When it use to be Savon everybody was happy in fact now the employees have to go out clean the trash out of the parking lot late at night and they use to have a company come do it but it's like they treat them like slaves it's sad. I just want to say kudos to the all the employees I think they are all wonderful. read more

Probably the most inept pharmacy we've ever experienced. Have not once had a frictionless transaction

I didn't use the pharmacy, but the store employees were courteous and helpful. The store had the hard to find item I was looking for and was priced cheaper than getting it thru Amazon. Then at checkout the cashier said there is an online manufacturer coupon for the item and gave me an additional 20% off! read more
