This place should have a thousand 5-star reviews. Honestly anyone who gives them any less than 5 stars has major issues. Seaview Pharmacy is an absolute gem. After dealing with the chaos of CVS and Walgreens for years, I finally switched to Seaview and haven't looked back. They are the real deal - a small family owned neighborhood pharmacy type of vibe. Need to talk to a live person? No problem!! You can actually call and someone will answer. No long automated lines or waiting on hold forever to talk to a live person. When I walk into Seaview, I am always greeted by kind and smiling faces. Everyone here is incredibly helpful. And they are so fast!!! Literally will leave my doctors apt upstairs and within minutes my prescription is ready. I am so glad I found Seaview Pharmacy. They make picking up prescriptions a breeze. I will never go back to a big pharmacy! Even though there are many pharmacies closer to me, I will gladly make the drive to Seaview every time. read more

Sent a script to them after hearing good things. My experience was not good, I got conflicting info on what was in stock, bounced around from person to person. A couple of the people on the phone were callous and rude. On top of that the cost is 5x higher than any other compounding pharmacy in OC for my specific med. I could go into much more details but it's honestly not worth it, skip them and go to Kings pharmacy where they treat every customer with respect and care. read more

This pharmacy is a diamond in the rough. It's not fun having to visit the pharmacy as it likely means you are dealing with the inconvenience of health issues - so why not add a little bit of warmth and character to your day with this mom and pop shop. Sea View Pharmacy is a refreshing change from the sterile and robotic interactions at the larger pharmacies. Additionally, everytime I need a prescription filled it's ready within a reasonable time frame and in most cases it's ready by the time I leave the Dr's office and drive over to them. P.s. Good grief! I would never consider using this pharmacy based on the owner's (Eugene) insistence that he can't advise whether he has a product in stock without a valid RX. Criminy, now days most prescriptions are electronically submitted so one cannot take their RX to every pharmacy in town to see who may have it in stock. Perhaps a controlled substance inventory of stock may necessitate the need to decline such a simple request (potential for burglary), but no mention was made of this being the case. I was considering using Sea View, but I based on the owner's arrogance and refusal to advise whether a medication was in stock or not, I will never be desperat enough to use this pharmacy. read more

The other pharmacist was super nice and reassured me that Jen is a master with vaccinations! My grandson who is staying with us from Los Angeles got the flu and strep throat and needed several prescriptions. Tonight, I was so fortunate to have Michelle Neely at the CVS pharmacy (on Camino de la Mares in San Clemente, CA) help me since I didn't have my grandson's insurance prescription card. I had only a photo of his health insurance and Ms. Neely used that information (and his birth date and zip code to ascertain the pertinent info so I could get his medicines. I am so thankful that she calmly and pleasantly called and figured out how to get the information needed. Then she had to recreate the paperwork on the packaging. None of this was easy. Meanwhile, I was on the phone with my grandson's concerned mom and I said, "Don't worry; she's smart." Ms. Neely made me have confidence during a tense situation for a grandmother! My IS Wyatt, I talk to gene yesterday 01/23/2024, Gene told me, come by any time after 9.00 am it will be ready, I called ask if my prescription was ready, I talk to some other person and was told we will call you when it is ready, I said gene told me any time after 9.00am , and said my wife will pick up the prescription ,she took time off work to get my meds, I am100 disabled and don't get out . gene got very irate with me about timing. As mentioned, based on my recent experience at Sea View (and the owners response), I am no longer going there. I am pleased to report that I found an amazing place called South Marina Pharmacy in Aliso Viejo that goes the distance to make customers feel comfortable and safe! It takes me about 10 more minutes to get there but it was totally worth it. I even got my Covid booster shot while I was there. They are a tiny place, even smaller than Sea View, but they have a very efficient system to get customers in and out quickly and I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. Owner has an attitude. I am Having Medicare insurance issues for prescription drugs and requested a copy of receipt . I paid in full for the drug but my insurance denied reimbursement. Do I needed to write a letter to scripts Medicare . Ask seaview for another copy of receipt , was told I had to pay for a copy of receipt I said why am I paying for a printed receipt from your register Because it takes time I was told ? Came here for the First time earlier this year but forgot to write a review, quick service and friendly staff. This is my new pharmacy now

Not impressed. My Dr's office had to fax the prescription at least 3 times before they finally found it. I was in extreme pain and needed the meds right away, not two days later. Then, when my husband picked it up they didn't even ask about insurance and charged him full price. (Granted perhaps he should have asked, but CVS and RiteAid always check insurance automatically.) I had no idea how expensive it was going to be. To make it worse, they charged an arm and a leg for some Covid tests. Aren't those supposed to be free? Took advantage of someone who doesn't usually do shopping like that, and who was more concerned about making me feel better than the hundreds of dollars. Well, not going back there no matter what. Update to my earlier review: Checked with my insurance and they said that they would consider a reimbursement if I provided some additional information (specifically an itemization of the costs). I called the pharmacy and was told insurance doesn't cover compounded medications (not true). I explained that my insurance just needed additional information, so they said they would charge me another $25 to provide that information. read more

Usually don't waste my time with reviews but this one is well deserved. Eugene the owner is a total nut bag. I thought he was having a bad day but clearly others have had the same experience as I did. Didn't take long to figure out how unprofessional he was and that narcissism shined bright. I hope I have to come back in there one day, I'll be sure to wear my HIPPA t-shirt because that seems to be his classic go to line. My poor father in law who was sick and needed his meds, was on the phone with me on speaker trying to give Eugene consent for me to pick up the RX after Eugene did state he needed consent, so I did. Instead of trying to be a decent human and simply give me the RX like any other pharmacy would, he decided to throw a tantrum like a 4 year old and screamed at me to get out multiple times saying he was closed after I had been there for 20 minutes already. Door was unlocked and one other customer was in there at the time I arrived... Even better, the next day my fiancé (the patients daughter) went in to get the RX and he yelled at her for no reason haha. Keep up the great work Eugene. Real stand up guy, your customers seem to love your crazy ass. Go ahead and reply to this post and blame it on me to make it seem like I'm the bad guy. I have been on great terms with Sea View Pharmacy, Brenda, the owner Jerry and especially Eugene who have all been great. They always say a nice "hello" when I visit their pharmacy and help me out whenever I need it. They have had trouble lately with their warehouse as I understand the warehouse has let a lot of its staff go recently. I ran out of a med that I've been taking for years, and the pharmacy told me they would have it-- they just could not say what time it would be in. As the day wore on, I became concerned that the med would not arrive and I'd have to go through another night without it. I was already feeling the pangs of "withdrawal" and late in the afternoon made a decision to transfer it out of Sea View to CVS, who I knew had it in stock. I managed to obtain it from CVS that day and was able to start taking it again. I called a few days later to ask if Sea View had a different med for refills which Eugene said they had. He started asking me if I was going to transfer it out like the other one and became more enraged at me as his talk became more and more heated. I could not get a word in edgewise and Eugene actually started yelling and screaming at me on the phone. I had never seen this side of him before. He ended the call by saying there were drugstores around that I could transfer it to, and quickly said "Have a safe day" and hung up i my ear. What a horrible way to treat a longtime customer! I'll never go back there again. Oh, and when I transferred the med to CVS, Eugene made as much trouble with CVS as he could. My doctor has refused to renew anything because of this so I have had to find someone else to prescribe both meds. Wow. Let this review be a cautionary tale to anyone who has their drugs at different stores.I sincerely hope Eugene can grow up and start acting like an adult. He seems to believe that he has the right to lose his temper like a 10-year old whenever he feels like it. read more

Wow! So friendly, so helpful. My son had the flu and I went to 3 pharmacies to track down a medication. Not only did they assist in the transfer, they filled it quickly and called to let me know it was ready. When I got there the pharmacist gave me valuable information on how to administer the meds as well as how to combat possible side effects. Everyone was positive and helpful. I noticed the pharmacist greeting customers by their first name and a warm welcome. What a welcoming, kind and helpful staff. I'm definitely using Seaview again in the future! read more

My favorite pharmacy EVER. I can't say enough about this family owned place. From the moment you walk in you just feel comfortable. My daughter has a serious heart condition and is scheduled to have open heart surgery in three weeks. All of the sudden our insurance decided that my daughters heart medication was no longer covered. Some times they can't fill a script because suppliers charge too much for the supplies and insurance companies pay too little in reimbursements. I understand those things are out of their control and they are a business after all, no government money keeping them open. This pharmacy is so amazing. The first time I went in was to look for a nebulizer for my infant when CVS, etc. didn't have them or they were incredibly costly. The owner was so compassionate and patient with me (I was stressed and had my sick daughter with me) and they even taught us how to use it properly and gave me some great tips. That was such a positive experience that I immediately switched everything over to Seaview. I've been going there for over a year now and every single person I've ever interacted with is kind and helpful. I never have to wait and always leave with a smile on my face. I highly recommend. I was in need of veterinary prescription that apparently only Seaview Pharmacy could prepare. I explained when I arrived that the prescription was a day late as the vet sent it to the wrong email address. The tech explained that it can take up to a day too get these compounds prepared. I explained that it was for our 3lb Shih Tzu who has not well. She said she would see if she could get it done sooner. I think she could tell may the look in my eyes that I was very concerned for our little puppy. I got a call there hours later that the prescription was ready. While their personal service has always been exceptional and they've done their best in trying to help, they have recently said their supplier is not able to provide a particular medication. Just so happens to be the one I've been taking for years! I cannot patronize the one place I would go if I could.
